I know Southern California is known for slower pace but this place takes that mindset to the extreme. When we arrived there were two people ahead of us, it took over 15 minutes to be waited on, with 3 employees behind the counter. There was. What appeals to me about Coldstones is that you can order their original creations or be creative and come up with your own bowl of sugary goodness! This tends to be my go-to spot after watching movies at Cinemark. Staff: The staff at this location is very friendly! All the times I've been here, they were all females so I assume there are no male workers here. They greet you upon entering the establishment and keep a perky disposition. I forgot the name of the girl who helped my bf and me but she was really friendly. As she was mixing our ice cream, she was having small talk with us. That totally made the experience better. Keep up the great work! Ambiance: There's nothing really outstanding to notice. It's brightly lit and the layout of the store is pretty simple. You walk in, follow the ropes and that's about it. 1.You walk by the ice cream display to choose your flavors and get samples. 2. You then walk down to where the toppings are and here is where they mix all of your ice cream and add-ins. 3. Lastly, you end up at the cashier and the end. Straight to the point really. There is a great range of seating outside the place. There aren't necessarily any tables with chairs but there are plenty of benches. Ice Cream: I love their ice cream. I do prefer their more sweet, creamy and dessert-like flavors as opposed to the fruity sorbet ones. The flavors I usually go with are: 1. cheesecake, dulce de leche and graham cracker crust; 2. strawberry, cheesecake, graham cracker crust and strawberries; 3. coffee, banana, and graham cracker crust. Went here tonight after having dinner across the street at PF Chang's. Joyce had helped us out and she is a very nice person who smiles and gives some great suggestions. I get there Cotton Candy ice cream with marshmallows and a lot of rainbow sprinkles(I'm a huge fan of rainbow sprinkles) and my husband gets there Banana Carmel Crunch ice cream. We come here about 2 times a month according to my husband.. hehe because I love what I get here and it's the only thing i will get til I find something new that I love with there rainbow sprinkles :-) that isn't too sugary. read more

We headed here with our 5-yr-old niece after a day at the Aquarium, figuring that it would be nice to enjoy a nice, cold dessert and rest our feet. Alas, the service was surly, as the sour-faced teenagers looked bored and impatient while we were figuring out our order (oh c'mon we weren't taking that long. The family behind us totally went 'Oh take your time! Our kids take forever to decide anyway!"), and the worst part: There aren't any SEATS. It's essentially a take-out-only joint. There's a table with four chairs out in the sun, and a bench at the front entrance, but that's it. We, along with a whole bunch of other Coldstone customers, ended up sitting on the stairs across the street in whatever shade we could find on this h-h-HOT SoCal day. I love this cold stone location. They recently moved to the unit next door and the new space is beautiful and bright. There are so many more flavors available. I live in a near by building so come here often for a treat. My favorite part about this location is the staff. I always see familiar faces and the staff are friendly. Always leave them a tip!! My only con is that they don't have indoor seating. I think they should have accounted for that when working on the move. read more

This Cold Stone is in a clutch location, but doesn't exactly meet expectations. No matter how many employees are working, they never seem to meet the demand. WOW just tried this place out for the first time ever, it was amazing, so delicious & they even make the waffle comes In front of you. I had half a scoop of chocolate & half a scoop of cake batter mix with some reeses-delicious. My boyfriend had the chocolate milkshake. This is my first experience with Cold Stone Creamery. Since it's my first experience, I don't know how to order my ice cream. I was struggling to place my order. The person serving me saw that I was struggling, especially when I kept on asking how the cookie dough special worked. The server did not explain how the process work. I also sign in yelp for a free mix in. After ordering 2 cookie dough specials, I ordered a coconut ice cream. I thought when you place an ice cream order you get to choose a mixed in. When you add the yelp sign in I expected an additional mixed in. I only got one so my question is why is there a yelp special sign in mixed in when I get nothing as stated in the menu? The other ice cream stores like Carvel and Baskin Robin menu is so much simpler. read more

Every time I go I swear it will be the last time but my child loves it so I have to keep going back. First off the service SUCKS !!! as in SUCKS in case you didn't catch it the first time. The same woman is at the register and all she does is go in the back and come out and ring up a sale. In most cases there are at least 2 people who are working so the fact that one is "only" register makes thing move very slow. Today there were 2 working the ice cream plus the register woman.. and when I got in line they both helping a family of 3 and there was 1 person ahead of me. it took 35 minutes for them to reach me and even then after I ordered they told me to move down to the mixing area and as soon as I did the guy turned and went to make waffles. when I questioned why he couldn't do that after the other girl to me "they multi task". I don't think making a customer wait to make a waffle (especially when there was a huge container of them) is multi tasking, I think its just pure bad service. And I totally agree with the other comments about the line and the layout of the place and the dirtiness of it. read more
