I understood and accepted this. But then it went even further and when I showed up at the shop to pick up my cakes, they said they didn't have anything. Apparently they gave away my reserved cakes to another person. They offered to give me other cakes, but none were the same flavor that I had asked for in my original order. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, the employee at 5:25pm (2/2/2019) definitely hates his job and makes it known. No greetings, has an annoyed face and ignored my girlfriend when she asked for more toppings and gave her an ugly face. I use to work at at an ice cream place to and regardless how my day was going I kept a smile. Never going here again. Employee definitely needs to be fired or look for a new job. Honestly Cynthia saved the day! I always come to this location but since covid I always order ahead and pick up, they've never ever made a mistake until yesterday. I went in to pick up my order, there was another Alex who ordered obvi and I was given the wrong order. I drove all the way home to see we had the wrong ice cream. Usually I'd chalk it up as a loss and leave it at that but I was SO looking forward to this ice cream because I've been on keto and I saved my calories for this lol.. so I was pissed, my husband knew it was going to be a long afternoon if my mood remained this way as I started slamming things and huffing and puffing, so he called cold stone. He spoke with Cynthia and wanted a refund, he was going to order online and request delivery instead. Saw the reviews of this location and thought a Cold Stones couldn't be this bad. I was wrong. Service was rude and impersonal. Seemed like cashier wanted us out as fast as possible. Also no A/C in this store so was dying the entire time. In terms of the ice cream, I asked if the fruit was fresh but it definitely wasn't. It was canned fruit dipped in the sugary syrup. People that were in line behind us were getting their order before us. We stood there quietly and patiently, watching all these people get their orders before us. But the other day I came here on my lunch craving their ice cream, and this girl that was helping me really thought I was stupid or something. So I ordered a like it and the cup wasn't full, which I noticed when she started mixing my add on's in. Then I asked her "is this a like it? Doesn't look full" . I recently visited this location with my three daughters and Citlaly Torres, the general manager, refused to honor my BOGO coupon even though there aren't any restrictions on the coupon. When I asked where the coupon states that it can't be accepted, she read restrictions that only applied to Colorado, Guam, Minnesota, Wisconsin & Wyoming. And when I told her that it didn't apply to California, she still refused to honor it. She continued to make excuses as to why she wouldn't take my coupon. I was excited when I saw the large section of sorbets. I'm vegan for moral reasons and my family made me go here. I haven't eaten animal products in a while, so when I do eat milk I get very sick. I asked multiple times to confirm the 'blue berry ice cream' was 'sorbet' multiple workers confirmed. When I was in the car it felt off to me so I looked up flavors online and turns out it had milk in it and wasn't sorbet. I am just rather upset that the workers lied to me. read more

I didn't have any issue paying extra but it was HOW the message was delivered about the extra cost that turned me off! Now my issue was that the girl had an attitude about it as well when I inquired about adding extra, you know as if it was out of her normal job description to grant a paying customers wishes to add more topping on some ice cream.. hmm anyways I thought it'd be a better experience being the fact that it's located at "The Pike". The employee who helped us was great but confusing as originally I had thought I needed to order from another employee as she had only asked for one order at a time. The waffle cones are great and the ice cream with it was good tasting but the portion size for the price was not up to par. I think maybe if I had just ordered it in a cup maybe I would have gotten more. Also I asked for banana for my order and only got a third of a banana and its an extra cost even though I asked to substitute with strawberries as I am allergic to them. If i could give zero stars. Trust me, i would. Me and my bf always get something to indulge after watching a movie. So on our recent trip to The Pike to see a movie, we decided to get some ice cream after. It was our third time to this location. Also our third time to get disappointed. :( Chris(white guy), the worker that got our order, skimped on our ice cream and on its toppings. I mean, seriously we ordered a love it size expecting to get a waffle cone full of oh so good oreo overload, but the scoop CHRIS gave us didn't even made it to the brim of the cone. So sad. Even argued that signature oreo overload didn't come with fudge syrup. Really? Know your menu and how to make them. Super disappointed to their..or should i say to CHRIS' customer service. Discrimination? Maybe? We saw him put some more scoop onto the next customer's order, and saw the customer (white guy) walk out the store with his cone overflowing? Wtf was that. Just went here last night with the hubby. They were so nice ,courteous and accommodating. I found out that if you make your own with one topping is over two dollars cheaper, per the worker. These guys are great! We had the same employee service us two times in a row and he was a superstar! Wish I knew his name but I do know his favorite Cold Stone ice cream "That's How I Roll". He was personable and made our ice cream creations with finesse and love. The manager was also super friendly and nice. My Dad commented that it was nice to see people having fun at their job. However, I think that was before he realized that their singing was due to the tip he left for them and not just because they were so happy they wanted to sing, but regardless, they did seem to be having a good time.
