Their prices are not posted which is common for most card shops. So we asked the guy at the counter to check the prices. At first he seemed okay with it the longer we took the longer he just added everything without letting us know about the prices. When asked he said "well everything was under 5$ a card" then when asked what each card was priced he just skimmed through only the cards he remembered saying "this was like $1, 50 cents, less than $5" etc etc. so at this point we could tell he did not want to go back and look. Our total was $45+ tax for about 20 cards where majority came out of the binder. So we looked through the cards again and took a few out. Final total was $38+tax for 15 cards. We gave up bought the cards and left. Now looking back I noticed some cards was over priced then what TCG sells. I understand they have to make profit but the total still seemed a bit off. Honestly was a great place I just wished he would have told us the price of each card before. And yes we did mention asking for the prices prior to committing. This place was great for something local it's a shame to not have to come back because of this experience.

They're always friendly, welcoming, remember their regulars, and truly make you feel like part of the community. Customer service here is second to none. The selection is excellent, from new releases and back issues to graphic novels, collectibles, and statues, all at very fair prices. My son has a pull list here, and they always let him know when his books arrive or when there are great deals or promotions. The store has an awesome vibe with great music, a clean layout, and even a retro gaming area in the back where you're encouraged to hang out and play. Snacks and drinks are only $1, which is a nice touch. Their apparel is also fantastic, with unique designs inspired by comics, Vegas sports, and pop culture that you won't find just anywhere. Great hours, great prices, incredible people, and a store that truly cares about its customers. Maximum Comics has earned our business for years to come. Highly recommended!

Upon entering the new store, I immediately noticed the vast amount of space within. The entire store felt well organized, allowing you to easily browse their many items including comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, and action figures. While interacting with the employees at the new Centennial Hills store, I found them to be extremely friendly and willing to assist with any questions I may have asked! They were offering free comics on the day we stopped by and ended up getting a Sonic, Spidey, Avengers, and Lego Batman comic! The store had an extensive amount of inventory! Each time I believed I had viewed every item available, I discovered an additional shelf, display, or section to view. Whether you are a serious collector or just interested in learning more about comics, there will likely be some type of product that interests you at MaximuM comics! The new Centennial Hills store is a fantastic addition to the area. It recently moved from the Walmart shopping area, now over to Tenaya next to Starbucks and a few local restaurants. It is clean and is very well stocked. Be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time there, even if you only intend on taking a quick peek!

The owner Brian stepped in, took full responsibility, and made sure I had all the information I needed. I was told my order should be shipping soon, and appreciated the assistance. I called back to check on the store credit, was first told by a gentleman named Malik, he mentioned that the box would be sold on the floor for $139.99 entailing to $60 store credit. But, a day later, prices weren't up on their website for the booster box, I went into the store and asked about the store credit, the owner mentioned that the store credit was only $50, because they were gonna sell the boxes for $149.99. So I took the store credit anyway. No point arguing. Then, when they finally came up with the store pricing. It lists on their website for $120. Yeah, I get it, pricing fluctuates. But words should be kept. The website's and email's customer service is almost non-existent, I'd recommend calling them and asking questions if needed.

I would understand if he was busy, but we were literally the only ones at the counter waiting to be helped. It was actually so awkward being here. Inside looks run down a bit as well and it felt very hot & humid. Smelled a bit funky.. but other than that I guess they have plenty of seating. Highly disappointed.

Some of the staff here better wave to their future employer.  Understaffed. Always. Also, the one manager on shift? He's somehow the worst person on the planet. Ohhh ye management, how can I count the many ways you fail a vibe check? Let me try. Management is rude. Pre-order a game? If you didn't pre-order early enough, expect a dirty look and a fake "YOU MISSED IT", followed by a smug "...jk, we do actually have it." I have personally witnessed an older bald male manager straight-up talk down to and snap at his female employee for simply being honest about pre-order bonuses (or the lack thereof). And judging by the other reviews here, I'm not the only one who's noticed the un-coolness from across the plaza.  It's video games... How do you manage to make what should be a fun, exciting experience stressful and miserable?  Did GameStop choose to keep its current worst employees instead of redistributing their top performers from the closed locations? Literally got a soda and chips from Walmart for getting my Switch 2 through them and all you get is a scoff and eye roll here. Comparing the typical GameStop experience, to how simple a video game pre-order or pick up is from Best Buy or Target actually blows my mind. Pending continued Power Up Membership renewal, this was my last time here. Do yourself a favor: drive past this location. Keep driving even at $5.40 a gallon until you're very far from this store and you should be okay.

I collect vinyl, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes, so this place is basically a treasure hunt every time I visit. One of my favorite things about Zia is their selection of older media. I'm especially into 90s and 2000s nostalgia, and I've found so many fun treasures from those eras here. They have a huge selection, so I can easily spend forever looking through everything. I also love that every visit feels different because you never know what you're going to find. I've discovered things I wasn't even looking for and ended up leaving with some of my favorite additions to my collection. If you love physical media, collecting, or just miss the experience of browsing through CDs and movies like we did in the 2000s, Zia Records is absolutely worth checking out. Looking on Yelp for GameStop locations near my residence, one of them was near the 215/Decatur in North Las Vegas, next to Walmart and Planet Fitness. There is spacious amount of parking spots available. This GameStop was open at 11:00 A.M on a Sunday. As soon as I walked in, the store had a very strong odor. I was the only customer inside and immediately went over to the PS5 hardware. The PS5 controllers had signs that you would select, for the specific color you wanted, and then you would bring that up to the register. The team member immediately provided the PS5 controller upon going up to the register. Check-out was a breeze. The team member was kind and had asked if I needed anything else before leaving the store. I'd stop by this GameStop location again if I needed to purchase any hardware or video games immediately.
