Concours continues to amaze me with their excellent customer service, flexibility, and integrity!!! I first had my car repaired in November after a minor fender bender. A few days after getting the car home, I realized part of the clear coat bra was missing. Brian called me back same day. They completed the work on a convenient day for me, gave me a ride to work, and even delivered the car back at my office. Wow. Fast forward to end of January, and my parking sensor on the recently repaired bummer fell out. Not their fault at all; it is only held in by glue after all ;). I never made it in to have my bumper replaced, therefore this review is strictly based upon the lack of customer service. I was rear ended mid September on the interstate. The damages weren't horrible, but definitely a few nicks and dents in my rear bumper. I filed a claim with my insurance company the same day and the other driver's insurance company. I went to get an estimate the very next day at Concours Body Shop. I called the opposing drivers insurance company and gave them Concours information so that they could be in contact with the body shop. On October 5, Shelley (adjuster from opposing insurance company) had called me to let me know she spoke with Mandy at Concours to request an e-mailed copy of the estimate and pictures of the damage. I didn't hear anything for a week; I called Shelley asking for an update on October 11th. She called me back on October 12th to let me know she gave Concours a call yet again that same day just to remind them about the photos and estimate. I decided to give them a call myself just to make sure they would get them over to the insurance company so we could speed up this process and get my car fixed. I spoke with Rick L. and he informed he that he "has a giant sticky note with Shelley's e-mail on it and will DEFINITELY get it over to her before the end of the day." Great, awesome! I wanted to get the ball rolling. Shelley called me on October 19th to inform me that she still hadn't received anything from Cocours Body Shop. At this point, I was extremely livid. She had called THREE times and hadn't received anything. I called and spoke with Rick yet again, asking why it's taking so long. I asked him if I should take my business elsewhere if they were too busy to send an estimate over. Without apologizing, he put me on hold to hand me off to Chris since he was the one that made the estimate. Chris told me the estimate was a "headache" because "I didn't have all of my information handy when I went in to get the estimate." Alrighty then, I didn't know my business was such a headache for your company. Sorry, I wasn't given a claim number by the adjuster prior to coming in. He assured me he would e-mail over the pictures and estimate then call me afterwards. He called me the same day within an hour. I spoke with Shelley the next day to confirm she had gotten the e-mail, which she did. I called Concours to set up an appointment to drop my car off. For some ODD reason, I wasn't coming up in their system. They couldn't find my name, number, or estimate in their database. Rick told me he would call me back within TEN MINUTES. I waited. I didn't get a call for 4 hours. I was in class so Chris left me 2 voicemails within an hour apart. The first one, asking me to call back and schedule. The second one, letting me know that he just automatically scheduled me in on the 15th of Nov and that he would see me then. No thanks. If it's going to take over three weeks to get pictures and an estimate e-mailed over to someone, I don't want to know how long it's going to take you to fix my car. The lack of communication was unimpressive and frustrating. I wouldn't trust someone with that low of customer service to replace my bumper. read more

Two days before Christmas I got into a fender bender. My insurance company gave me about six choices and out of the six I chose Concours. I remembered there ad, "It's your choice, choose Concours". So I brought my car into the shop for an estimate, and was helped by Gil. He went over all the damage, what my options were to replace or not to replace. An appointment was set up for about two weeks later for me to bring my car in. They have an employee that will drive you home if you need a ride. So I called the night before I was supposed to come in and found out none of the parts were ordered. Somebody seriously dropped the ball. So I was pushed out another week. When the was repaired, the quality was excellent. I gave them four stars, because I wanted to do 3.5 but can not do that, so I rounded up to 4 because the quality of the work was good. read more

Talk about horrible body work, talk about Concours. The car went back in the shop for the 4th time due to poor workmanship, it still has issues and I am giving up. Talk about frustrating. They tried to deliver the car with a piece of trim falling off, the bumper and hood misaligned, a run in the paint, the grill not clipped in correctly, the headlights aligned so poorly it was unsafe to drive, TPMS was malfunctioning, along with a tire that needs air weekly and overspray on various parts of the car. After 4 return trips, the headlights are still not aimed correctly, the tire still has a slow leak, the grill is still not fully attached and there is still overspray on different parts of the car they failed to properly remove. All items were brought to the owner, Gil's attention yet have not been corrected after numerous attempts. Save yourself a huge headache and find a different place to take your car for repair. read more

Lesson learned....go to the dealership for service. This place took my money, didn't fix my problem and returned my car with loose trim. Minor problem not fixed after they had car for a few days. Car returned with passenger side trim loose and not attached. Brought car back multiple times working with the owner Gil. Still not fixed. Gave up on them. Took my car to the dealership, problem and solution identified within minutes after looking up service bulletins. They also had to fix what Concours Body Shop did wrong and fixed my interior trim they detached. If this is how they handle a minor problem, Id hate to see how they handle larger problems. read more

I had my car rear ended and used Concours through my insurance. Everyone was very helpful and kind to me, even know I know I wasn't the easiest the deal with. Lacreasha (hopefully I am not butchering her name) and Scott were the ones that had helped me through the process and they kept me well updated and informed when things came up with me car, for example my tail light needed replacing and the first one ordered was not the correct model, they were honest about the situation which is something I highly value and explained that it would just take a little bit more time then anticipated. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would!! I fully believe this shop is running insurance fraud. They seem to be great if it's not an insurance issue. I got in a small fender bender at the end of August 2022. I was driving about 20mph in a school zone and swerved to miss hitting something in the road accidentally hitting the car next to me on the right. I hit on the front corner of my car by the passenger headlight. My car was fully drivable. I was recommended to this shop by a former shop owner my husband had used in the past. They were unable to get my car in until 11/13, which was not that big of a deal to me since my car was drivable. Initially they called me saying the insurance estimate and their estimate was far apart and they would let me know when they heard from the insurance adjuster. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. My husband and I had an extra car I was able to use so I was in no rush to get my car back. I had a family emergency and the Thanksgiving holiday which caused me to lose track of time a bit. I finally realized I hadn't heard anything about my car and called the shop around 12/10. I was told that they were waiting to hear from my insurance and that they had reached out a few times with no response. They also told me to try to contact my insurance and to tell them that they had started charging $125/day storage fees since 11/18!!!!! They had also taken off my door panels and front grill leaving the car undrivable!!! I was NEVER notified about any of this! After getting in touch with my insurance they told me that based on the estimate from Concours (which was close to $15,000!!!!), my car was being considered a total loss!!! How in the world this small little accident resulted in my car being considered a total loss is completely baffling!! Although, there wasn't much I could do because of the damn storage fees that totaled over $4000!! After reviewing the estimate and my car, I ended up letting my car go snd getting a new one! I will NEVER use this shop again !! read more

My wife went to concours for an estimate on repairing a damaged rear bumper on her lexus. The damage was minor. we were assisted by an employee named Bryce! he examined the damage and managed to reattach the bumper to the mount and then rubbed out the minor scraping, the car was as good as new. Bryce would not accept any payment or even let me buy him lunch! This was a surprise, I had previously used Concours and their work was perfect and their customer service excellent! read more

Was given a 4700 estimate for a car with minor front end damage that was only valued 7500 blue book. I promptly brought payment to the business in cash as to start the repairs. A month later I was called saying an additional 4000 was needed to make the repairs. I declined this estimate as it is insane to have the estimate be higher than the cars actual worth. I was then told that it would be 10 days to have my money returned to because the owner is out of town. I asked for a check because surely a business has an account as they are paid daily for repairs and was told no because the cash was in the owners safe at home and he was out of town. How can a business accept cash payments but are unable to return the unused portions? Then the office manager Heather has the audacity to tell me "you weren't expecting money back anyway so?" This is shady and the whole deal stinks! I'm sure this will get deleted as negative reviews here often due but I am also pasting this in EVERY social platform. read more

I came in to the shop to fix my fender and bumper after an accident. The initial interactions were fantastic but it seems as soon as they got their check all care went out the window. Once I received my vehicle, I noticed that my hubcap was missing. I called the shop and they told me to buy new ones and that they would reimburse me after. Then a few weeks later, I was replacing my windshield wipers to notice the calc piece was missing and there was left over polish on my car. I called again and they are fixing everything which is great. However, why should a customer need to double check the body shop's work!? For a company to do $1000s in repairs you would think they would be more diligent. It is a bummer that so many people have referred me here. I will never do work through this company again! AWSOME ! I am so happy ! My first time of being in an accident.......I learned a lot..... We had our Lexus repaired at another facility that our insurance company suggested and it was terrible, a complete mess. The other shop actually painted my car the wrong color ! My insurance company then took my car to Concours to refix it right. (Why didn't they take it to the good body shop in the first place, I don't know. Money I'm sure) I walked into Concours to sign for the repair mad, upset and never wanting my car back. After talking with Gil I left with the feeling my car would be returned to me good as new. You know what ? It was, two weeks later, exactly when he said it would be done, I picked it up, perfect, good as new and the right color. I won't write a bad review for the other body shop. I recently took my car to Concours Body Shop as we hit a small pile of ice/snow with our front bumper. The damage was very minimal and we tried to pop it back out ourselves but decided to take it into a repair shop as part of our front fender that connects to the bumper had been broken off. That's why we have insurance right. . . Our initial estimate was a little high @ $5k but we submitted it to our insurance company and moved forward with the repairs as this shop came highly recommended. We then got a call as a new estimate was submitted by Concours to our insurance company for $11K which caused the insurance company to total the car out as it was over the repair limit. Extra items had been added to the revised estimate that implied we had front tire damage and our steering gear and linkage needed to be replaced. I called Concours to discuss the new items added as we were not in an "accident". We simply hit some snow. Brice became very defensive and didn't want to hear what I had to say - He just simply said - I saw what I saw and it had a massive leak. Funny because we had no spots in our garage prior to taking it to them that would suggest a leak. I asked for my car back so I could take it to another shop for a 2nd opinion. I was then told I would have to pay for my car to be put back together. . fine just put it back together and I will come get it. Upon arriving to get my car extra trim molding off of the driver side door had been removed (which wasn't even part of the damage so why was it removed?) The inside part of the fender was not put back on yet I paid for my car to be put back together. Other parts were zip tied on etc. . .I just left and took my car to another shop which gave us an estimate of $2800 to repair. I feel that Concours saw an opportunity to total a car out and make some extra money - please get a 2nd opinion!! read more

I'm not a 5 star rate giver BUT, I giving one here. I unfortunately got hit and run on in a parking lot. I came to Concours as recommended by the insurance company. They found damage that the other body shops did not see. I purposely let them tell me what was damaged. Concours won me there. I picked up the truck and it was returned to as factory built. I'm not interested in being treated like a queen, for that, I go to a day spa! Everyone was polite and professional, timing was as expected. Sadly, someone was irresponsible and Concours and the insurance company did their jobs to get it all back to normal. Concours gets my business. read more

We took our car here after it getting shot in my old apartments. And it only took them about a month to fully restore it. (and ther was some pretty horrific damage) they were very friendly and always let us know what was going on! my only complaint is that they kept ordering the wrong wood grain for our 300 so we have not had it for about another month. But they did say they just got it in so we can take the car back and get it all installed! So i would say if god forbid something bad happens to your car take it here. it is a good shop! read more

I honestly wish I could give them 0/5 stars. I have used this autobody shop in the past, and have been extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. That has, unfortunately, gone out the window. Gil, the owner, has always been great and gone above and beyond for his customers. Chris is awkward and gives off a vibe that he could care less about anyone which was proven today when he stated to me that he wished I had taken my car to a different shop. Me too, buddy, me too. I took my 2016 Subaru STi to them after being rear ended. The only damage was to the back bumper in the middle under the license plate. After speaking with them I was assured color matching would not be an issue (it is btw) and they would do the best they could to fix it. I have some after market parts on my vehicle which were never addressed and the shop never asked for info on them or for me to take them off or anything, so I was under the impression they could handle it. Pretty simple stuff; mud flaps and rear spats. I dropped my car off on Tuesday October 25th in the morning. I was told it would be done that Friday, but I couldn't pick it up until Monday. I went in on Monday to pick up my car only to immediately notice the right rear spat was barely stuck on to the car. Then I noticed the mud flaps were reinstalled incorrectly. The clear plastic (clear bra) which goes by the trunk was not placed on the car. When they attempted to fix the right rear spat they used a chemical that stripped the plasti dip that I had sprayed onto the piece off. They decided to keep the car overnight to fix said issues. The next day I was called to pick up the car, so we head on down. The rear spats were reattached to the car with some type of glue adhesive but ok the right side they overdid it so it looked poorly done. It was at the time I noticed a scratch on the brand new bumper cover through the brand new paint job under the left tail light, so I bring it to their attention. Along with the fact that the color match, doesn't quite match (we've been telling them this since Monday, but they don't care...clearly). So with the scratch they say they need to keep it overnight AGAIN to correct. So today I go to pick my vehicle up for the third time, and they simply tried to touch up the scratch. Now, keep in mind that scratch did not exist when I dropped my car off. This is a brand new bumper cover, and has been painted so that shouldn't be there. Gil, the owner, admits fault. Cool, fix it. All the while we are still arguing about color match. Fine. Whatever. It'll never match. Fix the scratch which is your fault, place my clear protector and I'm out of here. Both Gil and Chris wanted to continue to argue over the color match because I have insurance headed out to look at it. Yes, the color match is an issue but at this point there are bigger issues such as the inability to fix a scratch in a brand new bumper cover and paint job. I'll deal with paint match, but I will not stand for completely trying to get one over on me with the scratch. Not to mention the horrific customer service and professionalism. I admit I lost my temper today, but this is day 3 of me trying to pick my car up and it not being fixed as they stated it would be. I have pictures throughout this process because none of those guys in there seem to keep their stories straight when going back and forth with me and insurance. If I were you, I wouldn't take your Subaru or any car here for that matter. Besides with Chris telling me he wished I had taken my car somewhere else, it looks like they don't want your business anyway. Look elsewhere. read more

I went to the shop and they then told me they would cover the fees and I still got billed. I am STILL in the process of getting things worked out a month later because they now deny that they would cover the costs. Terrible communication within the company and with customers. After doing my research on body shops and asking around, reading online reviews ect I decided to go with Concours. I took my estimate in and gave to "Chris". He looked over estimate and took copies, made me an appointment for 2 weeks out and assured me that they would "get on it" and have my parts when my vehicle was scheduled. I asked that all parts be Toyota factory parts with nothing being aftermarket and I was willing to pay the difference, Chris assured me this would be no problem. I also got an estimate to have my top painted. This was a separate work order to be paid out of pocket. The price quoted was shocking. Chris explained that they had to remove the roof rack, remove the windows, all the trim to do the job correctly. An elderly gentleman that I assumed was the owner politely explained that they guarantee their work for life and that the headliner needed removed and a bunch of work was needed to re seal the top and do the job right. I am not one to skimp so I paid the amount even thou it was 2X the price I was quoted in Carson at another reputable shop. This is my wife's car, she works up the street, seems reputable... Holy crap I could not have imagined the ride I was in for. The first signs of trouble were that Chris would NEVER return a call, the whole 2 weeks they had my FJ (a whole week longer than estimated) he never returned a call. Not a single one. "I will call you right back" or "I will check and call in 5 minutes". My wife would call as I am a social worker and don't have access to a cell phone all day. Several calls were made saying things like "it's all done except we need to water check it" or "it's done except the clear bra installed by the factory". Nonsense non information calls. All of Chris' shortcomings I was ok dealing with I just wanted my car back and after all I hired them for their craftsmanship not their salesman's customer service skills (or serious lack of). The big day came we went to get our FJ and the first problem we noticed was wrong spare tire cover. As Chris was backing it out I noticed the camera was covered and the display inside vehicle was dark. I pointed it out to him he assured me he would order correct one and call (suuurrree). After several calls to Chris last one threatening that if I didn't hear back I would call the owner not him he finally did make the single return call. This was after it was out of the shop and a week past when I picked it up, 3 days past when Chris promised to call. IT GETS WORSE!! Last weekend it rained. My pristine stock low miles discontinued FJ Cruiser was full of water. 6 points of attachment to roof 5 of them leak. Like bad. Headliner wet, water ran all down behind trim into floor. Insulation under floor soaked. I called my insurance company and submitted a claim. I Took my beloved FJ to the Toyota dealer. It was determined that the whole interior needed to be stripped to allow it to dry out and to replace headliner, trim insulation ect. Several thousand dollars worth of damage that I paid 3 thousand to have done. I got a call from the dealership today. For some unknown reason the "technicians" at Concours drilled out the stock holes oblonging them thus modifying the roof on my FJ. I asked the Service Manager why, why would that be necessary. His reply was "I think they did it because they used whatever bolts they could find to re attach it. I asked "they didn't use the factory bolts?!?!" Again this vehicle is stock and has never been modified in any way. Currently I am trying to get over to inspect for myself. Service Manager says that the factory brackets had been drilled out for whatever reason and that's why my vehicle leaked everywhere they touched it. So my advice is run hard and fast from this shop. I will be retaining legal counsel to attempt to recoup any and all monies spent at this fraudulent shop. Guaranteed for life? That's comical, didn't even make it a week! Thank goodness for public forums allowing customers to give real feedback. Such a horrible, painful, costly experience. read more

First experience consisted of getting my truck back after some body work needed to be done and being told it's not completely fixed after they had it for 3 weeks! Then when I came back to get it completely finished they did not hold to the scheduled appointment time, made me wait two hours just to find out they hadn't even moved my vehicle yet. I wouldn't take my lawn mower to get fixed at this place. Absolutely pathetic. read more
