As promised, I came back to give their empanadas another try. Decided on one regular beef and one spicy beef. I know the drill: it'll be a few minutes. No biggie. I noticed they changed their empanada menu/sign. (Much better. The old one was crinkly and dirty.) While waiting, I decided to buy lotto tickets! A few minutes later, my goodies were good to go! Paid for them and bounced. Decided to grub in the car in attempts to settle the "skipped-lunch-today" hunger pangs. Opened up the bag soon as I got in the car and... SURPRISE! In lieu of the spicy beef, I got chicken instead. I was too hungry to go back in to correct this gaffe, so... might as well try it. Chicken empanada was lukewarm. It would have been better if it was warmer, but eh. Crust was good and the meat was tasty. The beef?! Like the chicken, it was also lukewarm, if at that. First bite was okay. But that second bite just killed any possibilities of redemption: IT WAS COLD. Meat and crust and everything that went with it, the darn thing was just cold. However, even at it's low-temp state, the beef had flavor. But the fact that it's cold just really did it in. TWICE. And both times = thumbs down. That's it for me. The empanadas here are great. I like that they brand them so you know what the filling is. They have a good variety as well. Beef, spicy beef, chicken, spicy chicken, spinach, and a few more. A dozen is around $17 ($16 and something cents) or each is $1.69 so it's much better to buy the dozen. I ordered 7 empanadas which came out to $12 and something cents. read more

This is my first time trying this place and I was impressed! I ordered the chicken and beef empanadas! I love their little stamp that they put on the empanadas to tell which is which. It was ready in 5 minutes! It was very flavorful. The only thing though was I wish they were bigger, but it was easy to finish. The beef did have a hint of spiciness, but it was still really juicy and delicious. The chicken had a mix of different vegetables, cheese, and chicken. Make sure to eat it while it's still hot! If you're not into spicy you may think twice because they have a little chili kick to them. My favorites were the chicken ones. She personally told me she liked the spinach more so I tired that one. The empanadas are decent sized and I believe she told me a dozen is about 17$, which isn't too bad. They were really delicious too. I saw the box and it's partnered with food network and yelp? Or the companies just do advertising?
