    Chicken Kabob and Beef Kabob

DELICIOUS! Is all I can say about this plate of food I got. I was working outside of the restaurant and had a little time to grub so I decided to come here instead of a fast food place and I wasn't disappointed at all. The customer service was great and made you feel very welcomed! The whole layout of the place had a nice ambiance to it I was bummed I couldn't stay long enough to eat inside but I'll definitely be back! Definitely recommend the chicken kabob with a side of beef!

Lovely people, I believe they are the owners. Had a yummy fresh squeezed orange juice and my friend had the apple, orange carrot juice. Ordered a Turkey Burger, veggies on the burger were nice and fresh and fries were also good. For dessert we tried their Cheesecake and mini chocolate croissant, very good. And to go I ordered their chicken kabob plate for my bf. Smells good and looks very tasty. Will be back.

Found this gem on Yelp and so glad we did. Lots of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, casual environment. Great sized salads and protein portions, not one of those place you leave still hungry. Prices are UNBELIEVABLY good for LA, or anywhere for that matter. Food was tasty and fresh! We got the Asian Salad and Caesar Salad each with Salmon. Dressing wasn't over done and everything was awesome! The owner is extremely nice and welcoming! Check this place out!

Popped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly impressed. The tofu bowl is absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the green tea. The stuff is friendly and gracious. If your in the area it definitely worth checking out!

We were walking to the Beverly Center from our hotel and decided to give this place a try. You place your order at the counter and it's brought out to you. I ordered a latte and a chicken Ceasar wrap. My hubby got the Eye Opener wth 3 eggs, bacon potatoes, toast, and fruit. They cooked his eggs perfectly. As he likes his eggs well done most places do not get it right but here was just right! My wrap was full of chicken and a nice side of salad. They have a bakery case full of all kinds of goodies. Service was expedient and friendly. They serve breakfast all day and the place is super clean. This was a great find!!

Loved their key lime fruit tart. The custard didn't taste that limey, but overall it was really good. Would order again!

I would give this place 10 Stars if possible!…read more A real hidden gem in Beverly hills and I would highly recommend going here! A very exclusive Brunch menu but everything was a major hit! HUMMUS MASBACHA 10/10 was so smooth! Really flavorful and everyone wanted more of this! This was a vegetarian option which came with some chickpeas and a boiled egg on top. Just a heads up in case you don't eat egg that you should ask to take it off. PITA BREAD - This game with the hummus and it was perfectly warm and toasted and soft on the inside and crispy and the outside and just a mind-blowing pita bread! CHARRED EGGPLANT 9/10 was really soft and had a mild sweet flavor. It was cold which I was a little surprised by, but it went well with the warm Pita that came with the hummus! Only reason I took off a point is because it felt a little oily and it was the only item that didn't get fully wiped off the plate. CAULIFLOWER FLORETS 10/10 So flavorful and I think this might have been the family's favorite on the menu because it just disappeared. BREAKFAST BURRITO with FALAFEL 11/10 My in-laws don't eat meat or egg and wanted a proper vegetarian item for breakfast and we asked to customerize the burrito by replacing the eggs and bacon with falafel. Father in the thought he would not eat any of the burrito but ended up actually finishing his half of it! The restaurant needs to add this as an item on the menu! SHAKSHUKA with MERGUEZ SAUSAGE 10/10 What are really delicious and hearty breakfast item here. Husband and I shared this one and it was really flavorful and a good portion size as well. Good amount of sausage in there that went with the egg and the tomato sauce. JERUSALEM BAGEL - 12/10 This game along with the shakshuka and I think everyone on the table wanted more of it! It was actually warm and so huge and had that perfect crisp outside and a really lovely flavor. Cannot say enough good stuff for this one. SHUK SALAD with CHICKEN BREAST 10/10 Just a simple and healthy salad here but I would highly let the money if you want to balance out some of the heavy items on the menu but still get some vegetables and protein in. We did not use any of the dressing.

What happened to Nua???…read more It used to be a hidden gem; a warm, welcoming restaurant with exceptional food, genuine family-like service, and generous, satisfying portions. All of that is gone. The food is unrecognizable. The Israeli breakfast looked like a sad box lunch. The shook salad was essentially a bowl of arugula with a few stray vegetables hiding somewhere inside. And the famous Hummus Masabaha, once a signature dish worth returning for, has been reduced to a small cup of garbanzo beans with a drizzle of olive oil and a single egg, at less than half the size it used to be. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who remembers what it once was. Bring back the real Nua!

Based on the food alone, we would recommend this place to anyone with a beating heart and more importantly, a mouth. This is quality food at a quality price. The atmosphere? Really great. It's a little dark and twinkly inside which sets a nice tone. There is cool artwork adorning every piece of wall, the place is very easy on the eyes...including the restrooms. Very clean. Our waiter told us that they can accommodate larger groups which is great. I recently ate food at Saffy's and I didn't enjoy it one bit. The servings there are too small, too pretentious and too overpriced. Open Sesame is the exact opposite and that's why it rules. A wonderful experience in Beverly Boulevard.

Honestly didn't have much expectation but I stand corrected. Most orders were tapas portions (except the pizzas although still reasonably portioned) which allowed us to try several selections off the menu. Can't pick a favorite as they were all exceptional. And the drinks were also top notch. 1. Asian pear and Brie pizza: excellent. The leftovers were also just as exceptional. Flat bread pizza (6 small thin slices) topped with guava fromage, arugula, slices of Asian pears for the slight crunch and sweetness. Fantastic. Just order 2. Shawarma tacos: Smokey chicken with cabbage and pickled onions. Very good. 3. Tripoline Pasta: handmade pasta with pasilla pepper cream and romesco (to give it a creamy and nutty texture with a slight spicy kick). Phenomenal. Ended up ordering a second. A must order!!! Also had the love letter cocktail which was the best. Japanese whiskey with toasted marshmello garnish which gave it a sweet and Smokey flavor to the cocktail. Well done Bacari!!! I've been to several NYC restaurants just as expensive but lacking the ambiance, level of service, and overall good vibes. That said, the price of admission includes the food, service, and ambiance. The overall experience for our party of 9 was even greater than the sum of its parts. First off, we were celebrating my niece's college graduation, so we were already in a good mood. Food (8/10): Ceviche (7/10): Good, but I've had better. The seafood was fresh, and the plantains were crispy and lightly salted. Mayan Chop (7/10): OK. I thought it lacked flavor, but the rest of the table enjoyed it. Parmesan truffle fries (7/10): I'm not sure the truffle flavor really comes through, but they were hot, crispy, and well seasoned. Street corn (7/10): Others enjoyed it, but the flavor didn't quite align with my other street corn experiences. Parmesan mashed potatoes (10/10): Creamy and well-seasoned. Delicious! Black truffle burrata (10/10): I never knew I needed this. We ordered it based on other reviews--thanks, Yelp! The combination of burrata, honeycomb, and tortilla was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. Arrachera tacos (9/10): Good! They come two to an order with a nice bite. Wagyu beef short ribs (9/10): Melt-in-your-mouth tender and well seasoned. I preferred the au jus over the other accompaniments. I ate the tortillas separately because the rib flavor got lost when combined. Don't let the menu or the dinosaur bone fool you: this is a single serving of short ribs. Seafood paella (10/10): I think it was paella. One of the highlights of the night. Packed with lobster, shrimp, fish and scallops over a bed of creamy, seasoned rice. We kept going back for more. Assorted desserts (10/10): tres leches, butter cake with vanilla ice cream, Oaxacan chocolate tart with coconut gelato, cinnamon churros, fresh sliced strawberries and graham cracker sand. Service (10/10): Excellent! Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server was friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. We never wanted for anything because she was always attentive. She even offered to take pictures, which we appreciated. At the end of the meal, the staff cleared the table and placed a plate in front of everyone. To our surprise, they brought out a complimentary dessert board for us to share. The level of class and professionalism contributed to our joyful evening. Ambiance (10/10): Absolutely beautiful! From the furnishings to the lighting to the artwork to the view--breathtaking. It's like part restaurant, part art gallery, part nightclub.

Unfortunately, we were seated in a back corner, basically behind the TV and right next to the DJ, so we couldn't really enjoy the ambiance the way we had hoped. For food, I ordered the lobster Benedict and hamachi. My partner ordered the burger, and we also got oysters for the table. Overall, the food was okay. The lobster Benedict tasted good, but for a $40 dish, I definitely expected more lobster. The drinks were good, though, and I liked that they had the World Cup game playing on a big TV, even if our table placement made it hard to fully enjoy that part of the experience. That said, the service could have been warmer and more attentive. We had to ask for extra menus, and throughout the meal it felt like the staff kept disappearing. We ordered appetizers, but it took a while for someone to come back and take our main order. Maybe it was because we were tucked away in the back corner, but it definitely made us feel overlooked. Some of the servers also came across a bit pretentious, which didn't make the experience feel as welcoming as it could have. Overall, Casa Madera is a beautiful restaurant with good drinks and a fun vibe, but the seating, service, and value of some dishes could be better.
