I love cookouts their selection of milkshakes has to be the best in fast-food. The deal they give on the big tray is the best bang for your buck, the food is always fresh and delicious.

"Fast and delicious!" Reference to Defending Your Life... great movie! Here at Cook Out, you might think you're in paradise because your food comes out quickly and it's fresh! We all got the 1/4 lb. burgers, but there are several weight options. These tasted liked we made them from fresh ground beef and cooked them on our patio grill! The toppings were plentiful and super yummy! These folks can grill me anytime! (The only hiccup was one of the burgers didn't have the toppings we ordered.) Our fries we're crispy on the outside, hot and fluffy on the inside! I've also tried the corn dogs, chicken wraps and hot dogs! And the shakes??? Forgettaboutit! They are supreme! So many flavors or make your own combo! They are thick and creamy! And here's something to cheer about... they serve Cheerwine! The prices are super reasonable and the grub is fabulous for fast food! Three cheers for Cook Out!

Food was served hot. So there was something to warrant a 1 star rating. It was our first experience and it was intimidating. A very confusing menu with "combo specials" being pushed by the counter server. Ordered a double burger plain and it came with cheese, over cooked, and loaded with mayonnaise making the roll very soggy. Two sides mushy fries and a dry quesadilla. That's right. A side quesadilla. Also an Oreo milk shake that was mostly ice milk and smashed cookies. This was a 1 & done for me. Place was not clean. Sticky floors, tables not cleared, soda area all wet. Bathroom was just as dirty. Soap dispenser not working. At least I can say I tried it and didn't like it.

Horrible service and food. Two different things were completely messed up. I repeated myself 3 times and still was given something incorrect. I asked for mayo ketchup and pickles instead got: ketchup and a BUNCH of mustard..... also ordered a corn dog and received something that doesn't even look safe to eat. (SEE PICTURES)

Ok so the food is pretty much what we expected as far as fast food goes. It was great that they have smaller portions sizes to choose from. The host was friendly and patient. The beverages weee serve yourself. Clearly unsweetened ice tea is not the norm at round there because it was in a pitcher like you have in your own fridge. Husband said the bathroom was unremarkable. The place looked clean The only reason I will never revisit this place is because the food is served on styrofoam. The beverages are served in styrofoam. In 2020 this shouldn't even be an option and because thhe food was ok is the only reason I didn't drop two stars.

I wish there were more cookouts further north! Coming to this location whenever I'm headed south is always a treat. The service was good and the food was even better. There is no outdoor seating which is interesting because cookouts traditionally are walkup only. I had the "cookout sauce" for the first time and it was pretty good. It taste good on fries, burgers and nuggets. I capped this meal off with a cheesecake and strawberry shake, heavenly. The only negative note is that one of the stalls in the ladies restroom was not up to par. But all in all it's hard to demand too much from a fast food place besides food food and good service and that's what I got.

Service was friendly, professional and fast. We ordered 2 kids meals with milkshakes, a spicy chicken meal that included 2 sides + a drink & a separate burger. Our entire order only cost us $23. The kids meals were decent sized chicken tenders with a generous portion of fries. My chicken sandwich was thin, not spicy, but not bad. A bit disappointed, but it could have been worse. The sides I chose (hush puppies and chili) were smaller portions, so I'll order two of the same thing next time. Lastly, my husband said his burger was great.

I ordered the London Fog Sour, the classic crab dip, and the birria eggrolls. The London Fog Sour might honestly be one of my favorite cocktails I've had downtown--I loved it so much I ordered a second one. I'll be going back just for that drink. The crab dip was its usual reliable, delicious self, and the birria eggrolls were flavorful and packed with meat. Our server was fantastic and helped us decide which small plates to try. Off street parking is ample. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with counter service. The menu has a variety of heat options available for their chicken, from "country" (no heat) to mild (a touch of heat), medium (a slap of heat), hot (feel the burn), to burn baby burn (the hottest level). My adult sons, and my son's girlfriend were in town, so there were 5 of us. My oldest son ordered the 4 piece tenders (mild), with fries and a drink, my youngest son ordered a chicken sandwich combo mild, his girlfriend ordered macaroni and cheese and fries, my husband ordered the 4 piece tenders (no heat), and I ordered the 3 piece tenders (no heat), then we split the Joey Eat Fries, which are Boneless breast, Crimson sauce, slaw, pickles, and cheese, over a bed of Crimson fries. We ordered those with our chicken mild. I'm so happy we didn't order beyond mild, because I can't take too much heat, and the mild was too spicy for me, but perfectly spicy for my husband. For those that like very spicy, you will love the heat, it packs a punch! The tenders with no heat, still were amazing! Everyone in our group were highly satisfied with the size of the chicken tenders/sandwich, and were impressed with how juicy and fresh they were, without the greasy texture. My husband is picky about his chicken tenders, and said that these were by far his new favorites in the area. My son's girlfriend said that her Mac and cheese was great, and the fries were good too. But the Joey Eat Fries were fantastic! Sooo good and more than enough for two people to enjoy; massive, and a meal of their own. The only thing that left something to be desired, was the bread. Would have been better toasted with butter, and perhaps a toasted garlic bread option. Prices were comparable to other similar establishments. We were impressed with the friendly service, speed and delivery of the food, and the quality of the meals. Their grand opening is Monday, April 1st, make sure to check them out!
