    A glove in the wrap.

DISGUSTING. I opened my chicken wrap and found a GLOVE inside of it. Then when i asked for a refund the manager said "the glove is clean tho" WHAT????? As I'm asking for a refund, both managers were being reluctant to do so. The inside was TERRIBLE. Don't even waste your time

This is a double burger??!! What kind of crap ate they putting out at this location?

This is a double burger??!! What kind of crap food are they making here? Took 20 min for drive thru, and the food still sucked.

What month-old frozen fries look like

Sat in the drive thru for ~15 mins while most of the employees were standing around outside talking to each other. Ended up going inside to order, which I was able to do so immediately. The drink machines were out of almost all soda syrups, and one was overflowing with dumped ice and soda and was dripping onto the floor. Food came out quickly, but the fries looked and tasted like they'd been sitting in the freezer for a month before being cooked. Love cook out, but this location is very poorly managed.

Looks like a lot of food for the price... this is 3 cook out trays plus a hotdog

Meh, nothing to write home about. It was okay. It's just a fast food joint that isn't named McDonald's, Hardee's, Burger King, etc. The food was cheap and decent. Ya get whatcha pay for! Restaurant was clean, didn't use the restrooms. They have Cheerwine - yum! The Cook Out Tray is a good size for 2 small kids to share, but not enough for adults to share. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, it actually tasted like something from Taco Bell. The burger patty had a chargrill flavor like Burger King. I was a little disappointed that I only got 4 small onion rings for one of my sides (they were good though). Don't know if I would go back.

    Quesadilla

This is the 3rd day in a row where my quesadilla was just a tortilla with very little cheese.

A five star visit as always, I came in on Friday for a tray and a drink. The burger, fries, nuggets and quesadillas were delicious and the ice cold Cheerwine hit the spot! I wish more places would offer Cheerwine. Thanks, Cookout!

SUPPOSED TO BE a regular chicken sandwich w/ LTM.. you see how the heck that went.

The only thing cookout still has going for them is the fact that they stay open longer than most other restaurant. That is it. You never get what you ordered with these ppl.

A supposed double burger without tomatoes???

Have Had pretty much great experiences at cook out as a company, but this one was a lil disappointing. Double burger was a sad little burger at best.

Poor service, won't go back. I don't think they had any happy customers this evening.

I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews of the Arepas! Obviously their burgers look great,…read morebut I was in the mood for something different so I chose to come here and try the beef Arepa. Wow! Delicious! I also ordered the sweet plantains, which are phenomenal! I could certainly understand why people would try the burgers because they look fantastic. The place wasn't packed, but it was fairly busy for the middle of the afternoon which tells me that this place probably does a really good business. Juan Pablo and Julietta were really helpful and friendly. They definitely made the customers feel welcome. Although it is a quick serve restaurant, the ambience is really cool. It does not feel like fast food nor does it taste like that. If you are looking for something that is just a little bit different this might be your place. If someone is not adventurous enough to try the Colombian options, they can definitely order the burgers.

Menu has been updated and put in a nice leather look binder. Lots of choices including a veggie burger. When we enter the server hands you the menus and said once you know what you would like order at the counter. Service was excellent. It was early evening and busy with people ordering/ picking up take out. Our burgers arrived very hot and fresh. The buns they use are firm but soft and stay together through every bite. Fries were hot and crisp! You order your burger then fries come as a side option for $2.99 Delicious fresh food all round. Will definitely be back again. We have to work our way through the menu now lol Give it a try if you haven't already you will not be disappointed.

Hubs had the meatballs (which the server said they only had two left...a friend nabbed the others) and other friends had the moules (mussels) frites and the braised short rib IIRC. The *.frites were the biggest hits. My filet was perfect, Sharon was raving about her mussels being the best she's had in ages. I had a bite of the meatballs, they were ok but people agreed there are better things on their menu. I love that the frites come with a choice of 3 out of about 10 different custom mayos (aiolis for the fancy-schmancy). I tried the curry, sriracha, and a fruity one I can't remember exactly what it was. I liked the fruity one the best and to my surprise, the curry the least (I usually love curry, but the balance was off). The sriracha mayo was too subtle for me, I slather sriracha mayo on my burgers regularly. I have no class. The frites were fresh cut and I enjoyed them but there were far more than I could eat on my plate, and sadly frites don't keep. They have my favorite super sweet Lindemann's framboise lambic on tap; I've only ever had it in bottles before, so that was a treat. My husband thinks I'm crazy to drink it because it is SO SWEET but I love it. So does Sharon, and clearly we're not alone or they wouldn't waste a tap on it :). It's beer for people who hate beer. (I resemble that remark. Maybe hate is a strong word. But in my 30s I realized I'd rather drink a soda than a beer, except for this one.) Desserts sounded good but we were too stuffed to order any. Next time I come, I may try the mussels, or I might just order that steak again.

It's in a basement that feels like a pleasant dungeon or a 1500's rogue tavern, you know, the kind in the movies where plots to overturn evil rulers are hatched. It is a unique vibe and after your meal, when emerging back onto the brightly lit street, it's akin to stepping out of a secret place and back into the light of day. The beer selection is impressive. This food is Belgian inspired. Hence the name being derived from a mix of Trappist Monks, trap doors, and a hidden underground enclave. Many of the beers have higher alcohol content, listed on the menu, be advised. The specialty is Moules Frites, mussels prepared in various broths and fries double fried in duck fat served with a flight of your choice of flavored mayonnaise such as wasabi, curry, truffle, sriracha, etc. Very good. Reservations are highly recommended. It was a busy Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was literally packed, even the bar. The two of us were seated in a large, dark, alcove booth fitting for six or perhaps even eight. We had a reservation, so the hostess said, "we may as well fill it" since it was that crowded. Being such, it was five minutes before we were noticed and placed our drink orders, another five before our water arrived and we ordered and about 30 minutes later to get our food. In between we were left to ourselves. The service was not negligent, but it was minimal and not really friendly either. It was a busy night, so we will have grace. But the mussels were delicious. We both had the Provincale, a rich, savory, Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, garlic and white wine. Bourdain says "never order the mussels", in his Kitchen Confidential book, but here you are safe because they are very popular and the main feature. I've probably said this before and it is worth repeating, they need to up their crusty bread game. The broth is so good and the accompanying bread just doesn't lend itself to bringing the dish to another level, but it could were it better bread. This is a solid and must do restaurant experience when visiting Greenville. It arguably should be the "one" restaurant you must visit in town because of its unique ambiance and unique food & beverage.

Keep hearing about how the food is good but I never receive the same level of quality of food. Unsure why. A.1. THE STEAKHOUSE BURGER as pictured on the website "two patties", shows two slices of Swiss cheese and looks great. Please compare what I received... and judge for yourself please. Don't underestimate the customer service experience was flawless. The food quality is a failure. There needs to be a minimum of quality standards for the restaurant to achieve this by having the food match the picture of the food in the menu. Also ordered two regular fries of which was seasoned with sugar not salt. This careless mistake says there needs to be a performance improvement in this process of cooking and food preparation. Including someone testing the difference in salt versus sugar to know the results of how the error can affect the outcome of the customer experience. While there another person ordered the same steakhouse burger and their burger matched the picture. Hopefully management or the owner can address this situation and it is a repeat situation.
