When I called over the phone 5 minutes before walking in, they told me that there was no wait time. We waited 15 minutes to be helped. The lady that did my feet didn't do a good job. I paid more for a callus remover and my feet were still rough that evening. Very little options as far as nail polish colors goes. Plus the paint started chipping after 2 days. Never happened before with my feet. I wear tennis shoes for work, all the time. Really disappointed in the customer service. read more

My friend with a disability went to Cool Nails last week. She has foot deformities and for medical reasons (not just pampering ) visits a nail salon for professional nail care. When removing her shoes, the woman assigned to her pedicure began to laugh. Subsequently, both the manicurist and pedicurist, continued laughing and speaking in their foreign language. My friend could not easily get up from the chair so was subjected to discrimination and rudeness while receiving a "service." Not only was she aghast about the unprofessional behavior of these staff, she was in shock and could not speak up at the time. I signed up for Yelp just to post this review. I, too, am disgusted by the salon staff who treated my friend in such a horrible manner. Please do not give this salon your business. read more

This place is pretty cheap but you do get what you pay. I don't think this place is the cleanest. I don't see the equipment being sterilized... Maybe they do but not completely sure. It costed me $20 for a gel mani. They have a small selection of gel to choose from but the brand is DND which is my favorite for gel nails. My lady was nice and she did a good job. She took her time and filed my nails the way I wanted and asked me a few times whether or not I liked the shape. She also listened when I told her I wanted my nails to be the same length as one of them because the previous nail place I went to made it shorter than the rest of my nails. I have no complaints with how she did my nails. They turned out really good. The only downside of this is that when I asked my lady to give me 2 top coats for the gel she goes "why do you want it?" Lol why does it matter anyways? I explained to her that other places recommend to me to get 2 top coats to have the gel last longer and stay more shiny. After she was almost finishing up with my nails she said in Vietnamese to the workers "this girl is crazy, she asked me for 2 top coats" lol unfortunately I could understand what she said. She was nice overall but the side comment just made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Luckily this comment was made towards the end. She also not only talked about me but a customer who was done before me the girl was wearing high waisted shorts so her butt was hanging out a bit and my nail lady made a side comment about the girl. this is probably the last time I ever go to cool nails because never in my life have I had a foot fungus but I went about a week ago , & first of all the lady was cutting my toe nails and she clipped this one really short , second of all irk why she was digging into my cuticle so much but I felt her poke me & it hurt . About a week or a week and a half later right where she poked me I started getting dry skin & thought wth is this , cause it's been painful & randomly my skin will break and I get cuts (like the one in the picture) I'm most likely not going back I suggest everyone be careful when going here make sure they don't stab your toe with dirty tools read more

Ok so .... I am still here at the nail salon. I have been here since about 12 with my mom and aunt. They took FOREVER to start my nails. I was here for the gel polish manicure and a pedicure. So I got my pedicure done half ass and then I asked to see the gel manicure options and she threw them onto the station I was sitting at. Then after I calmed down I handed them back to her deciding I didn't want to waste my money here. She said "put them back" and I replied "please? You mean please?!" And THEN! I went to check on my aunt an the lady stopped doing her nails to finish someone else's who came AFTER we did. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE. It blows my mind how ppl give horrible customer service especially since YELP is so big now. read more

Are you kidding yet another joke of day here at Cool Nails.....made an appointment for 1030am for pedicure, a women walks in at the same time and asks so you have an opening (mind you does not have an appointment) they take her first and leave me the one with an appointment waiting 15 minutes. You work this into a schedule because of your work and they screw you over. We like coming here because of the prices but seriously learn that appointments come first. This place was amazing when me and my mom became new customers , Anne first took care of my mom when we first joined , but the Anne wanted nothing to do with Mom , kept making up excuses as to why she does not have time for my mom... so mom ended up with Nancy when no one else wanted to do her pedicure .... then I started going there in hopes of being a customer of Tina and ended up with Anne, Unfortunately things started going downhill with the customer service that we were receiving!! Upon calling the salon several times wanting a refill and to schedule my mom for a refill appointment as well since she is coming from West Hollywood, no one hardly ever answered the salon phone and left us looking stupid every time we needed service , we were blown off!! Mom was really pleased with the place at first , mom had her last refill with Lisa and was extremely pleased!! Unfortunately we ended up having to go to another salon due to the fact that we were treated like we were coming from another planet.... everybody was looking at us like why the hell are you here and we are not interested in taking care of you as clients anymore .... unfortunately they never told us this information but you can tell by the view of The employees upon walking into the salon we weren't going to receive service!! Tina is unprofessional. I have been going to this nail shop for 15 years and never will be going back. I always have to wait 30+ minutes for the tech to start service on me when I have an appointment . It took me 2 hours to get regular pedicure with an appointment. When I brought it to Tina she embarrassed me in front of the whole salon, making a joke and laughing. I had to completely go off on her and tell her I won't be back. I was in a bind to get my nails done quick. Worst mistake ever coming here. My nails are so thin. They look like press on nails from cvs that my daughter wears. I had them done on Wednesday. Looks like I had them done 3 weeks ago. I had to tell whomever did my nails that she missed putting acrylic on part of my nail. And there was no one in there. Not like she had to rush to the next. So, of course it's Christmas Eve and I'm taking the time to write this review because I want to help you lovely ladies avoid going to this place to waste your time and money,!!!! I have been to countless different nail shops because I move a lot, so I try to find a place that Is local and good. This place has the worst customer service ever!!!!! I walked in after I came out of Ross doing a little last minute shopping and there was about 8 ladies working and only 4 ladies being serviced. When I walked in the lady sitting at the fist table to the left looked up at me and asked what I needed. I told her I wanted white tip with gel on my real nail. She said no pedicure? i said not this time because i woulndt have time. She said ok with a bad attitude and told me to sit down and wait. Mind you, i had just got off work before going to ross and had 2 kids waiting at home for me, but i wanted to look nice for my hubby tonite. so i asked the lady how long it would be and how much?...and she responed again with attitude saying maybe 10-15 minutes and that it would be $25. Just off the rude attitude I was getting, I was iffy and i didn't think i even wanted to do my nails there anymore..i started walking out to call my babysitter n let her know I would be a while. And as I was walking out I hear the lady laughing and screamed out, "cuz she can hear us talking behind her back!",.... I was shocked and really didn't want to do my nails there anymore, but as I was walking away I realized I can't let one bad apple ruin it for the nail shop, so I went back and as soon as I walked in the lady looked shocked that I came back. I guess she thought I was leaving because I didn't want to wait and she was annoyed at that n maybe thought I was being a pre Madonna?? I don't know what her deal was!!??!....anywho, I wanted to see if the service was bad all around and I wanted to check out the quality of the work.....I have to say I was VERY DISAPPOINTED all around and I will NEVER go back there EVER again. The facility was GROSS, not sanitary at all! They hand wash the equipment in the sink, they don't sterilize which is NOT helping rid the chances of passing on a flesh eating disease or a fungus to the next customer. They don't set out new towels for every customer. Most of the staff are very rude! When I smiled at them, they would just walk by and raise their eyebrow! I don't know what I did or said to get that kind of treatment there!! During the time my nails were getting done, the lady that initially gave me attitude kept coming up to the desk I was at and talking Vietnamese to the lady that was doing my nails, and started laughing. There was another lady that worked there that was well dressed with her cell phone clipped to the side of her pants that walked by and kept shaking her head and looking at me. I just felt so uncomfortable and wanted to just walk out, but she was only half way through finishing my nails. The end result to the quality of the work was not good. I got white tip on my real nail, which can be hard if you don't have a steady hand.... The white tip on my thumbs are too thick and crooked. Some of my nails are longer then others and I tried asking her to fix it and she kept saying it was ok. At the end when it was time to pay, I stood up to grab my purse and handed her my card and she said $5 tip for me is good. I was like ok, I guess I didn't have a choice to neither decide to tip her or not or the amount I would tip her. To top it off, she ended up charging me $27 for the manicure and I was under the impression it was $25.. When I asked her she said no, it was $27 and that the other lady was mistaken. Since they didn't have ANY priced posted on their walls, i couldn't argue it! that's probably how they rip people off and charge more once the work is done. The place is HORRIBLE!!! I dont know why they don't have any reviews, because they're an extremely popular salon. This is my go to nail place since last year, And I haven't had any bad experiences either, the decor of the place is VERY plain and they just recently got a flat screen tv so don't exept anything luxurious when coming here... Their prices are reasonable, $15 for a pedicure, $18 for a full set, and $12 for a fill. They're known for they're designs on acrylics an can do any style, and any design. Sometimes I even come in with pictures and they do their best to replicate it ! The selection of color is nice, it's mixed with opi, Essie, and various brands. Not a great section but not bad . Tina does my fills, she's the owner of the shop and Does a fantastic job. Kim is my favorite pedicurist, She scrubs rough, but is gently on my cuticles! Sometimes I get different nail techs, but like I said I've never had a bad experience here and will continue to come back . The prices for all services were not available, which is always a very uneasy feeling considering you will not know if they charging you more than the next person. I went for a gel mani and pedi... it was all done in less than an hour. No good massages on either mani/pedi. They did the wrong polish on my toes and would not change it. My mani was terrible, I have skin cut up around my cuticles worse than before. My pedi, she didn't even try and its been 6 days and my nail polish has already chipped. Called to make an appointment the day before with Tina since this is the only lady my sister recommends but she was booked. Did a walk in this morning and was placed with a woman named Judy. Prior to beginning, I tried looking up Judy on the reviews but found nothing other than she did waxing so I didn't know what to expect Even 20 minutes after opening, they were full (waited with no problem seeing that I did a walk in). Judy was nice, did not really understand me when I asked for specific things. I think it was average, I feel that she made a hot mess out of my design I wanted and I ended up having to ask her to fix a lot of things since the two nails didn't match. I also can tell what others were talking about with the cleanliness. The good thing was the price was lower than other places I go to. Ladies!!!! Stay away!!! Worst customer service by Tina& her staff! I had a scheduled appointment at 5:30pm. For fill & pedicure $65! It took Tina 3hrs. To complete the work. Tina started late on my nails. I showed Tina the way I wanted my nails done & after being there 3hrs. Walked out my nails not matching! Tina had used two different powders one pink & the other white for the fill so both my hands do NOT match! The white tip part Tina had cut the powder to short & when I mentioned that it's too short she didn't care to fix it she left it the way it was and covered it up with gel and now it looks like two Cracked white tip! I had a pretty good experience. I came as a walk-in on a Saturday so I expected to wait. It was less than 30 minutes, and they began my pedicure. I expected to pay an extra $5 for callus removal and splurged on a salt scrub. I also asked for a design which is $5 for 2 toes. I asked them to do 1 toe & 1 finger. They said I'd have to pay $3 instead of $2.5 for the finger. Really?? The 50c up-charge was stupid but I went ahead with it. I also told them I didn't want them to work on my fingers while I was getting my pedicure. I wanted to relax & enjoy it. They insisted on prepping my nails anyway. Because I got acrylic & gel nails they had to finish them at a chair. I don't remember the gal's name but she's in the last chair in the back. She seemed annoyed and cold. She did a decent job & the snowflake on my ring finger was very pretty. It cost $46 for everything which is reasonable. I was told not to have the man do my nails, so I'll pass that along, but I'd sure like to have a more pleasant manicurist. It's really annoying to have them speaking Vietnamese to one another--as if they're complaining about you while they're doing your nails--very rude!
