A friend recommended this place, and she referred to it as "a hole in the wall" shop, and in most experiences, these kinds of places turn out to be pretty good. I've been into almond shape nails for a while and I was growing tired of jumping from shop to shop, trying to find one who had employees that knew the difference between stiletto and almond (first world problems). I called and made an appt. Tina was very nice and started doing my nails right away. She made sure that I was content with the nail shape and I was very pleased to see the variety of gel polishes. I'm very indecisive when it comes to requesting a fun design, because there's been cases where the design looks nothing like what I ask for, BUT I decided to go for it this time. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did an excellent job! Prior to posting this, I saw a couple of negative reviews about some of the nail techs and the shop itself (the reason behind my 4/5 rating). I guess it's a matter of going and seeing the kind of service you'll receive. *Side note*---very inexpensive! Sooo awesome! I paid $34 for my nails. read more

The color is blotchy and uneven and they charged me more than they quoted me. The positive reviews must be fake. Also they use a reusable metal foot file which is against the law in California. The ladies that were helping me find the blue color I wanted would talk in their language when I would say, "no, maybe darker" I felt uncomfortable it was obvious they were talking about me. Anyway, I always get coffin nails and I didn't like the way she did them, they look oval shaped. And I've had my nails for about 1 week and 2 broke already. Not coming back. read more

This is a great nail shop with great pricing and the most reasonable prices! Everyone being super nice and welcoming is a big plus. I honestly go 3-4 weeks with my long gel nails I always get the coffin shape and they look great! Even their pedi is a fair price, if you want extras like callous treatments or Sugar Scrub it's still fair with a $5.00 upcharge for each extra service. This is my #1 shop and the biggest plus is that they are able to do pedi and fill at the same time if you don't have time to wait. Go and enjoy this nail shop!! read more

Tina and her sister Ann are THE BEST in this shop!! I've gone to this nail salon for 4 YEARS consistently and have tried every person in there. I am my upper most upset with them because I've sat in the salon for THREE full hours before closing, just for them to say "I don't know why she's still sitting there. We're about to close" I am APPLAUD. And so were the other ladies in the shop who had sat next to me, and saw me there as well ! Not only because my time and patience was wasted, but because they told me when I walked in they would take me, and NEVER did, then be so rude about it at the end. I'm all for supporting local nail techs but oh my god did the ruin mine and my sisters nails. Firstly, when getting a pedicure they DO NOT line the tubs with plastic and just do a light rinse between clients. Barf. Second, we got full sets and when I showed the lady the design I'd like she said she couldn't do it, mind you it was just cherries, literally two red dots and a "V" shape for the stem. Okay whatever so I had to wait 20 minutes for someone else to do them. Finally getting my nails done and she filled my nail bed so much it started to burn I told her it was burning and she said or did nothing. When do the almond shape she filled them so horribly that neither one of my nails is the same shape or thickness I have some nails that are skinny and point as hell and others that are wide and very round . Onto the polish the French tip is CROOKED and uneven the polish is also very bumpy I don't even know how. The cherries are okay but backwards that's fine I guess. After a full 24 hours my nail beds still burn and are in pain. My sister asked for a small/medium length for her nails and the woman who did them did not listen and cut them so short her natural nails would have been longer and left her with the ugliest nails I've ever seen in my life. She also did not let my sister choose her own nail color and gave her a nasty side eye when she asked for the color SHE wanted. Bad all around do not waste your time or money and I wish it wasn't cash only so I could ask my bank to cancel that charge. read more

I got a mani and pedi here on a Sunday towards the end of the day. My pedicure was decent but somewhat painful when my cuticles were being cut for both mani and pedi. I asked for natural nails with just a clear coat. I understand a clear coat is CLEAR but she didn't even bother to paint my nails properly. I was telling the woman doing my pedi I wanted my toe nails short and with out asking me the woman doing my mani just started cutting my finger nails short. I didn't realize they were near closing until they started doing my nails otherwise I wouldn't have gotten them done. They obviously wanted to go home which I understand but I'm still paying for a service. I would come back for a pedicure maybe but definitely not a manicure. read more

I got a FRESH full set placed on my nails, a week and a half later I was in excruciating pain, came to a different salon to have it checked out and while removing the gel and nail discovered I had a fungus IN my actual nail! After talking with several different manicurists they said there is no way this was my fault and it had to be because of dirty tools since I had acrylic over every part of the fungus. This is my first time coming here, I don't usually come to this nail shop. I went in for a pedicure for $15 with a friend. My usually nail shop usually charges $17 so I thought why not, $2 cheaper. Yeah it was cheaper but I was a bit disappointed. The lady seriously did my nails wayyyyy too quick, 15 mins tops. I felt like she didn't fully clean my nails and rushed through putting nail polish on my nails. She didn't put base, my usual nail spot usually does. They were nice. Not the cleanest place.. As I was there one person stopped their pedicure due to not liking it and the girl not understanding. My sister didn't like her nails the lady got the gel on sides of fingers and uneven. I got the stiletto acrylics ombre Style. They said they knew how to do it.. Umm.. no! They are horrible. I started coming to this salon because it's close to my home. They do a decent job and prices are fair but they are severely understaffed and they have favoritism towards certain clients. People walk in and go straight to the nail technician and beg to be taken first while walking sit and wait longer than they should. Today I was made to wait 50 minutes and I would have continued to wait if I didn't leave. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes long and I was kept there because the woman in the front continued to tell me five more minutes. I put little things aside like how dirty the place looks and mediocre job they do but when I am on a tight schedule and I can't be there long I do not appreciate my time being wasted. Worst nail place EVER. They have horrible customer service. Only like 3 people know how to do nails. No one does good pedicures. Appointments are always late. And if you are making an appointment with Tina you better hope she doesn't have an appointment with her boyfriend that day because she will ditch your appointment to take care of her personal affairs. I've been coming to this place for about 3 years and although I love the way Tina and Ann do nails unfortunately I'm finding that this place is becoming unsanitary. They don't use disposable tools like they're supposed too. and for pedicures they use the metal callus removers which is technically not allowed from the state board. And if they are using them they should be using brand new ones every time but they don't. It's unfortunate because I love this place but it's just not clean. My toes have gotten fungus before and that should never be happening because of a salon. read more
