In 2014 I added about 1k sq. ft. on my home including a second story. The contractor the that did the work had his HVAC person install a dual zone (upstairs/downstairs) system that never never functioned correctly. It would run for 10 minutes and then shut down. 9 years later and Eric's service and professionalism is still amazing! It's been cold (did you see snow on Fremont mission peak) and much to the dismay of my family, the heater stopped working. I could hear the thermostat click on but the heater wouldn't turn on. He diagnosed that the wires got chewed up by some squirrel or mouse in the unit outside which shorted the fuse in the heater in the attic. I will hire always Erik and his guy Jose for all future HVAC works. It was 105 degrees outside in Fremont earlier today and our A/C stopped working. Two years ago, Eric replaced my 18-years old Air Conditioning Condenser by a new one made by Carrier. At that time, everything was accurately written in the Invoice and on the next day everything was done according to the Invoice without any surprises. He worked very quick and accurate. The more important is that he keeps his word, i.e. not always service people stay responsible for their warranty policy. However, Eric indeed very responsible person. This is what happened to me: Recently my Air Condition stopped making cold air. I called Eric and the next day he stopped here. The first suspicion fell on the compressor, so Eric said that since everything is under warranty he will order this part from manufacturer and as soon it arrives he would come and replace it. In a week, he came with a new compressor, but before replacing it, he discovered that the compressor's plug was not tight enough and this was the reason for not working compressor. Indeed, it was very difficult to suspect this problem in relatively recently installed unit. It was a happy end for everybody. So, my point is: Eric is not only provides excellent and honest service, but you also can rely on his warranty policy. read more

Eric is a true pro! He came out to check our AC system on short notice so that was nice to begin with. After he gave my mom a quote on the work that needed to be done, I called up a few other places asking how much the same type of work would cost if I used them (we needed a new AC condenser and puron). Eric came out a lot cheaper than the other places and he seemed like a genuine guy so I decided to give him a shot. I'm glad I did because he was able to come out the next day (with the specific condenser unit by Carrier that we wanted!) and get the install done within about 6 hours. Now my AC is working again, more powerful than before, quieter than before, and I paid a reasonable price for the work that was done. Oh and while he was working on the repair, I ran out to buy a new Nest thermostat which he also installed for a small fee (he even painted around the new thermostat to make things look nice). I have used Eric and his crew Jose\Sal at Cooler Living Systems for both my condo and my new house and I can say without hesitation that I am completely happy with everything. I use my HVAC a lot, pretty much anytime I am home either the AC or Heater is on. So needless to say when my AC went out at my condo I was quite miserable. I called upwards of 20 different places and all told me the same thing. Since a condo has a "pancake unit" (which is what went out) they wont work on it. That was until I messaged Eric. He came out that evening after hours to take a look at that unit. He gave me a fair quote the next day and expedited timeline as he seemed to genuinely understand that this was majorly impacting my quality of life as well as an unexpected expense. The system is still going strong years later and has become a selling point now that I am renting out that condo. I have since moved into a house that had a dying system. I immediately called Eric.
