Beautifully designed restaurant in the heart of the new Goodyear square. Masculine and warm atmosphere with natural wood and leather tones. The service is attentive, friendly and polite. There are plenty of seating opinions from indoor, to outdoor and even private rooms. The menu is simple but has something for everyone. Everything was fresh and seasoned to well, from the appetizers, to the main could course s and desserts nothing was bad. To make it even better everything is reasonably priced. I ate at Copper & Sage for the first time a couple weeks ago with my partner and our friend. We live close to GSQ and had been looking forward to this place for a while. There aren't many restaurants like this in Goodyear. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't the greatest. But we'll start with the positives. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. It has an upscale vibe without the stuffiness you get in some places. Very nicely decorated as well. The first miss was the food. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes to start. For mains we ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken, Catfish Po'Boy, and Hot Chicken & Beignets. A common theme throughout every dish was "overpriced and underwhelming". Smaller portions are acceptable when the quality of the food is top notch, but the dishes just didn't deliver. My favorite bite was probably the Nashville Hot Chicken. I thought the flavor was decent and it had a good heat level. The rest of the food was just okay. Two of our dishes came with fries, and both portions were completely stale and room temperature. Not sure what happened there. The service was okay. Our waitress was friendly enough, but she was a little slow to check-in at times. There were also some bizarre inconsistencies in employee dress code. The wait staff were all wearing button-up shirts & aprons, but the hostess was wearing a backless crop top. We left feeling disappointed, but I really do hope this place improves over time. I want restaurants like this to be successful in the west valley. I'm going to give them some time, but I'll give Copper & Sage another chance in the future. read more

Came back again for lunch and this time got the Walleye fish and chips. The staff and manager (Dan) are very awesome and they make this restaurant my favorite. There's not a bad thing on the menu, the food is always hot, I love the water glass bottles and the atmosphere is always a vibe. Also got a dessert for me and my friend's birthday!! We came here for dinner too celebrate a birthday. It was a late reservation because we were waiting for another person to arrive from the airport. We got a bunch of food to share and I was hankering for fries. Their garlic fries were so good in actually still dreaming about it. We also ordered collard greens and Brussels sprouts, both absolutely delicious, albeit, the greens were on the salty side. Fried green tomatoes were pretty good as well. We also shared the tagliatelle, and shrimp and grits, both good. I'm pretty happy I picked this place (since we were visiting and wasn't familiar with the area). A great new addition to the west valley! We came in with reservations and were immediately seated and the staff were all incredible! The restaurant is really nice and clean with a lot of natural light coming in. What we ordered: - Suntory Roku Highball: tasted like a refreshing sparkling lemonade! The only con is the glassware for this drink makes it look like you're drinking a large sprite - Strawberry hill: delicious!! - Shishito Peppers: Must order! My husband made a reservation to this restaurant for my Birthday 6 days ago. Food was excellent and the service outstanding. The beautiful Kelly (our server) is a master in customer service. She pretty much celebrated my birthday with us. The bartender worked hard in making that "Perfect Manhattan" for my husband. You can tell the entire place is concentrated on giving customers the best time and best food. My experience was a 10 out of 5! With massive expansion in the west valley, it has been very disappointing that so many of the restaurants are fast food. Copper and Sage is a refreshing addition to the area. There are a lot of great things coming to Goodyear City Center and Copper & Sage is just the first of the great reasons to visit! Copper and Sage is classically decorated with lots of dark wood and a spacious and classy dining room. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like our business was appreciated. The menu had so many fresh dish ideas, not easily found in the Goodyear area. We stared with the delicious crispy green beans. Not a bad start! For my main course, I decided to try the Scallops with Risotto. The scallops were perfectly seared and sat atop a creamy layer of Parmesan Risotto. In addition, the charred corn side was probably the best corn that I've ever had! My wife had the blackened fish tacos with Cajun slaw and really enjoyed those as well. They were beautifully presented! Our guest had the Kale salad, wasn't so crazy about it. The staff immediately took it off the bill and offered her something else. She had a the most wonderful praline pecan torte with ice cream. it filled the soul. My wife had visited once before at lunch and was somewhat disappointed at the limited selection during that time. She did find out later, that the dinner menu was available upon request. So good news there. A shout out to our server Alexis. She was as bright and upbeat as anyone can be and spent plenty of time chatting and making sure that we were happy. The manager (Dan, I think), was very attentive and frequently stopped by to insure that our dining experience was perfect. That is the sign of a restaurant that cares about its customers! On the hunt for a place we'd not tried before and happened upon Copper & Sage. I'd seen it before when nearby so we stopped in. It was late Monday afternoon and upon entry we were asked if we had a reservation. Of course we didn't but luckily they could set us. This quickly told me two things; it gets busy and it was a bit more upscale than your typical lunch spot. It was beautiful inside. A bit of a masculine feel with of course feminine touches. I loved the dark wall with the gold accents. The booths were cozy and I liked the walls were higher to have a more private feel while enjoying our meal. They have a full bar with so many options. Whiskeys, beer, cocktails you name it. Happy hour prices were great of wanting to enjoy some small bites/drinks etc. our server Jordan was wonderful and very attentive. He had some great recommendations. I am typically not a chicken sandwich person ( especially fried), but I took his advice and tried the Nashville Hot Sandwich, my husband chose the burger., Both came with fries. Our food was out shortly and played well. I loved the chicken sandwich and to my amazement I ate the entire thing Ha! The fries for me were not my favorite and felt like they had a bit of a rubbery and overcooked texture. Flavor decent though. Unfortunately my husband was underwhelmed with his meal. He disliked the sauce on the burger saying it was overpowering the actual burger. He also did not eat the fries.. I'd say if you're looking for a more elevated meal a bit more upscale I'd say this would make a great date night. Oh I SO wanted to like this place. The ambiance is delightful. The room we sat in looked like a modern style dining room with shelves surrounding a large TV. The other room had booths with modern style lamps between each. Clean and crisp; warm and inviting. The bathroom was bougie and clean. Our waitress was helpful. However, she offered something as a replacement for the fries that came with a sandwich, and then charged the full price for both (without getting the full package). Then when my friend asked for the burger without a bun, it was suggested to get a lettuce wrap instead of buns. Yes--perfect, we replied. But alas, we got the buns when the food was served. . A friend and I sat at the bar, and there was only 1 other person there. The bartender had zero personality, and was not very welcoming. It was as if he was angry that he had to work because patrons came in. Drinks were sub par. We asked for the bartender to put the Diamondbacks game on and he said he couldn't because they don't pay for that channel. I ordered the scallops for $45. 4 small scallops over a little bit of risotto and a MOUNTAIN of corn kernels mixed with tomato. Scallops were okay, nothing special. This dish was a total rip off. My friend had the filet, which was overcooked from medium to well. Her "twice fried" potatoes were 2 small fingerling potatoes that were about the size of 2 French fries each. No flavor, not crispy, just looked like a boring little fingerling potato with nothing...no spices at all. Not sure why the summary here says $30 per person. We spent $150 for 2 people, and will never come back. They are just wasting space at GSQ. Hopefully, they will close down and something great will open up read more

I went here tonight with a friend and Madi was our server. She was welcoming, attentive, friendly, quick to fulfill requests, and happy to serve. It was a wonderful experience with equally wonderful food. Caesar salad is always a favorite meal choice and the one here rated among the best I have had. The Scottish salmon was only $10 for an add-on filet and was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. The cocktails were also delicious and they have the "good" ice cubes.
