The portion was a good size. The favors were all so good together. Would definitely recommend

Supposed to be over medium. Not even close.

The green chili is hot and good, but the biscuit was dry and the over medium eggs were runny. A typical "greasy spoon" and I know something is good here. I just didn't get it today.

First this place has the propensity for a Five Star review. I got breakfast enchiladas and my wife Navajo huevos. The portions were huge and flavor fantastic. The food was served quickly but otherwise the server really didn't check on us very often. I'll definitely be back, but hopefully next time with a more proactive server.

A nice restaurant with a good menu selection, reasonable prices and friendly service. I was in the mood for a Belgium Waffle so I decided to try this restaurant. I got there about a half an hour before closing and go seated immediately. Waffle was good and I got it topped with blueberries and whipped cream. I did notice they had a pumpkin pie in the dessert cabinet which is nice to see outside of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I definitely will try this restaurant again.

Solid cafe for breakfast with all the usual options and good prices for the amount of food you get. I had the Copper omelet with hash browns. Wait staff was very friendly and managed our large group very well. The dining room is spacious and has a back room for larger parties.

I was dismayed to find Betty's closed suddenly, having let go by a year or more without dropping in, but Chancla does an admirable job of filling her shoes with crafty blends of ingredients and flavors for a unique menu of food and bevies. I had the elote benito (I think that was the name) that was a corncake-based bennie, simply divine, along with the maple french toast that was to DIE for. The cappuccino was exactly right, and though they'd run out of the hibiscus punch, the watermelon substitute fit the bill nicely. It wasn't cheap, but the price was certainly on par with what we've come to expect from crafty brunch places. ~$50. It's an order at the counter kind of place, so there's no formal table service, but they delivered the food (after a notable wait for the post-rush patronage, maybe 20 minutes or so), and came back around to bus some tables in time to hit them up for a to-go box. It is a bit stuffy inside, and the patio is not particularly airy - it's a coyote fence away from San Mateo traffic - so I wouldn't give it 5 stars on ambiance. But that's not always a deal breaker when the fare is legit, and the service is friendly.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

It was extremely busy and loud. I didn't wait in line to order, but it took them 50 minutes to prepare our salads. The service wasn't very friendly or helpful at first. I'm hoping it was because they were so busy. We had to leave 10 minutes after getting our salads so I had to take most of it home which was disappointing. On a good note, the salads were amazing. They were the best salads I've ever tasted which I why I'm giving three stars instead of less. My mom ordered the 505 Cobb and they forgot her chicken which was frustrating after waiting for nearly an hour. However, they did make up for it by making her extra chicken! And their chicken was absolutely delicious!! I ordered Persephone's Lunch which was outstanding. I added chicken to it which made it nearly $20 for a bowl salad. The seating is open and you order and sit down wherever you can find. The seating is hard on your backside and uncomfortable, especially when waiting for so long. The salads and fresh ingredients are delectable. If I ever return, it will be a to go order that is put in very early. Cheers!

I went for the classic burger. They call their fries Spudnik and they have a very interesting cut. The potato shape is like a broad, curling wedge, but these are not curly fries.
