Beef tenderloin cooked perfectly medium

This restaurant never ceases to me. While I've been here multiple times for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is the shining star. Their buffet is absolutely outstanding. With made to prepare omelettes, smoked salmon, fresh squeezed, orange juice orange juice, and a in-house pastry chef. While this is clearly not a bargained buffet- we always leave feeling we got our moneys worth. And the service is always impeccable!

Love this spot for breakfast at Dove Mountain but this trip Chef Dyson & Jeff get all our thanks! My husband had inquired why none of the restaurants had shrimp cocktail on the menu & they said "we can do that". Fabulous shrimp cocktail with the best sauce I've ever had! Also you definitely need to try the Mexican Street Corn bisque! Fun presentation & it's SO delicious we get it every time. Chef surprised us at the end of our visit with a cool steam & rocks with chocolates on the rocks. The steam gave the aroma of creosote which was so fun! Lastly, our server Jeff wins server of our trip! He was fun, attentive but not overly and very professional.

Another amazing time at the Ritz in Tucson! The food is amazing... the drinks perfect and don't forget dessert!

I had to review Core, a restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain because the food was really beautifully designed and super innovative! We had a three course meal and my partner and I shared a few items so I got to try many dishes off this menu! Here's what I got: 1. Spring Harvest Salad- the cucumber cacao soil was so delicious and the teeny tiny vegetables in the dirt? Just above and beyond with the creativity! 2. Mexican Street Corn Bisque- just wow, such a beautiful corn soup, never had anything like it! 3. House Beet Chitarra- pretty good, unique beet colored noodles 4. Caramel Peanut Cheesecake- tasty and I loved the salted caramel 5. Razz-Chocolate Mousse- show-stopper! This one left me speechless! We really enjoyed this restaurant experience and highly recommend checking out Core if you're in Tucson, AZ!

The food was amazing!! Every dish that we got was well worth it. Their French 75 was so good with the prickly pear. Staff was very friendly, waitress, busser, host. Wonderful experience!

Build Your Own Omelet

This review is for breakfast only on Thursday, 12/22/22. We stayed at the Ritz, so we ate breakfast here out of convenience. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. It's expensive (not surprisingly though - it is the Ritz, after all) and the food was okay. The service was stellar. Samarra was our waitress and she took great care of us! It was 50 degrees out and we ate outside. They have heaters. Highly recommend eating outside! The views of the mountains are just gorgeous. I got the Build Your Own Omelet ($30). You can put in any and all fillings listed, for no extra cost. The omelet was huge and tasted fine, but honestly, I've had better on cruises. The hash browns were like a latke and tasted good! The dressing on the greens was a little weird and the greens themselves were bitter. The toast was good. My husband got Egg Any Way ($29). The only difference between that and the BYO Omelet was that it came with 2 eggs and choice of protein. The price was outrageous. For breakfast, I would go out of convenience, but maybe I'd do the buffet next time ($38 normally, but they raise the price for Christmas and New Year's).

Ribeye and oyster mushrooms

We absolutely loved our dinner at Core inside the gorgeous Ritz hotel. Walking in, we were met with dim, romantic lighting and wine racks lining the walls. The open kitchen is expansive and lets out all the mouthwatering aromas. Our server was so friendly and wonderful. White asparagus bisque 5/5: Creamy, flavorful, and delicious. Presentation was on point. The soup dish came with the dry ingredients (fried shallots, dill) inside, and our server poured the bisque in so it was nice and hot. White oyster mushrooms 5/5: So tender, chewy, and perfectly seasoned. The best side dish to our ribeye. Ribeye 5/5: A 14oz piece of heaven. It was perfectly cooked to our preference of medium rare. Each bite was tender and flavorful. Great ratio of meat to fat. We also loved the addition of the chipotle aioli on top. Our server was so kind and even provided us a sorbet dessert for my boyfriend's birthday. Service and food were top notch.

Lovely breakfast retreat with stunning Sonoran Desert views. No wait this morning for a party of four, we tried the avocado toast, kid's chocolate chip pancakes, kid's breakfast sandwich and oatmeal. Food presentation was excellent, it was a good as it looked! They seem to be training servers, but that didn't matter to us, still top notch.

Did not get to eat while here. I was working and in a meetings for hours and the staff was excellent! They made sure we had water and coffee at all times. Even after they closed they allowed me to stay and finish while they cleaned and prepared the restaurant for the next day.

I can't even describe how amazing this restaurant is. The food and the presentation are Phenomenal. The service we received was even better. I recommend this restaurant to people staying at the resort, and people that live in Tucson that are looking for some place new and exciting to eat. 10/10 will be back again. Thank you!

We opted to sit outside to watch the sunset but it's a bit hard to see from the direction their patio sits, but still beautiful. Service started off friendly enough but sometimes the responses from our waiter came off as condescending and not friendly. Food was good and so was the cocktail I had (Gila Monster.) We will be back to try more of their dishes and hopefully we'll get a friendlier waiter. P.S. It would have been a nice touch if they acknowledged my husband's birthday as I had mentioned it when I made the reservation, but they didn't. I would have given 3.5 stars based on the two misses but YELP doesn't allow for half stars and since the food and ambiance was very good, I'm opting for 4 stars. I'll come back and provide another review soon.

The weather was perfect, but I'd suggest bringing a light sweater. We had the Cabernet Sauvignon and the loaded tater tots (which were definitely loaded with birria meat!) and cast-iron charred Shishito peppers. Everything was delicious. We'll be back for dinner! Roman (a.k.a. Jeremiah ;) was wonderful as was the entire staff. Everyone was professional, accommodating and genuine. The website has some misleading information: it says the happy hour goes until six and we saw a fish fry option which apparently ended in September. Hopefully they fix that soon!
