Let me start with I only enjoyed their HH, which had great deals and delicious bites to choose from. THANKS to the bartender for letting me taste two beers to choose which one I wanted to enjoy. The hummus and pita SO GOOOD. Needed a tad more pita, but no shame for eating hummus with a fork. The fish and chips, I did not try however, the couple next to me did and it smelled and looked BOMB. I should've ruined my appetite for dinner just to enjoy those. Next time! read more

We ate here several times and ordered room service while staying at the Inn. The minute you step in, you experience the mid century modern meets ranch vibe. The square bar offers great seats to watch the game or to enjoy the oak trees and views. The main dining room is really pleasant with large windows that look over the beautiful golf course. Service is super friendly and professional. The bartenders are very accommodating and have a wonderful attitude. Our servers were all really good, and they were there when you wanted something but gave you space to enjoy the food and conversation. The breakfast is really top-notch with an array of creative options that were totally new to me. We tried: Turkish poached eggs with garlic yogurt sauce, Barbacoa eggs Benedict with chimichuri hollandaise, huevos rancheros, Brioche French Toast, burrata omelette, and the açaí bowl. Everything was excellent with the eggs perfectly cooked. Cocktails are excellent, too. The Bloody Mary was a standout serviced with a slice of bacon and lots of olives and citrus. It had the perfect blend of horseradish and chili sauce. We enjoyed the coffee, but it was a little hit or miss probably depending on who made it! All of the people at the wedding we attended agreed that lunch and dinner were also excellent. We ate one night in old town Temecula, but we easily could have just stayed on campus the whole time. Go for the views... not the French toast. The staff were all super super friendly and attentive. The restaurant opens early which is convenient, especially if you are staying at the Temecula Creek Inn. The menu has very limited options, though I supposed that's due to the scope of hours they are open. Would recommend having separate breakfast , lunch and dinner menus so that more robust options can be offered. Also not very vegan friendly , there are a few vegetarian breakfast options if you like oatmeal or açaí. The coffee was smooth. The French toast was a little soggy on the inside for my preference. However I did like that the French toast was not overly sweet. Pictures don't do the views justice. It is peaceful here, go for a coffee and perhaps bring a book. read more

I've been here multiple times but this last one was more enjoyable. Their food is always good, from your traditional bacon or sausage and two eggs, Chicken and Waffles, Eggs Benedict, and their Nachos. What really impressed me was the service. "Cass" did a wonderful job serving my family. She was very courteous, professional, and very attentive. Not only that she checked on us every few minutes but our coffee cups and water glasses were never empty. She provided everything that we asked for with a smile, and made sure that our food and drinks, table selection, and miscellaneous items are to our liking and met our expectations. This is the onsite restaurant for Temecula Inn. We stayed there about a year ago over Christmas--it was lovely. Being Christmastime, we didn't even bother going around, looking for other places to eat. We just ate here for breakfast and dinner. The Hollandaise sauce is top notch. So light and just the perfect taste. The Brioche French Toast is awesome, just the right texture and consistency. Christmas Eve dinner was fantastic... scallops, kurobuta pork chops were perfect. Classy place with trained servers (to be expected anyway). This is a great place to go for special occasions, for sure. Nice ambience, just very classy. I am forgetting her name as it was over a month ago now but it was something along the lines of Tina I believe or I hope. She was this sweet sweet lady with so much spunk and care and respect and knowledge of the menu and we felt really taken care of by her. She had so much positive energy and mentioned she liked taking care of us because she has kids our age. Did not disappoint! Came here for Easter brunch and it was surprisingly not busy which made our experience nice. The views you see of the golf course while eating are nice to have and it gives you a calming vibe. The food and drinks were great. The angus burger was out of this work fantastic, probably the best burger I've had in a really long time. What service and why so aggressive? We have reservations and was early but felt pressured to eat at the bar to celebrate a birthday. I've been coming here for years and used to rave about it to everyone I know. But after our recent visit, I honestly don't think I'll be back--and I'm embarrassed I ever recommended it. We arrived around 4:30 PM, a party of three. Since dinner service didn't start until 5:00, we grabbed a table on the bar side (only about 30% full) and ordered drinks and appetizers, letting the server know we planned to stay for dinner. That's when things started going downhill--fast. As we waited, we noticed gnats buzzing around our table. We tried swatting them away and even killed a few, but they kept coming. When we mentioned it to our server, they casually said, "Oh yeah, they tend to come in around this time." Excuse me? That's not a normal part of dining. Then our appetizers arrived. Just a few bites in, gnats began landing on our food. I bent down to see what might be attracting them--and I wish I hadn't. Underneath our table was a disgusting mess: old fries, chicken bones, and enough food scraps to fill a plate. Absolutely unacceptable. I asked to be moved, and while they prepped another table, someone came over with a broom and started sweeping while we were still sitting there--sweeping debris over our feet. Seriously? We were finally seated at a new table... only to find more gnats. At that point, my mother-in-law was done and wanted to leave. I pleaded with her to stay and give it one more shot--huge mistake. I asked if we could move to the empty side of the restaurant, but was told they don't seat people there until 5:00. It was 4:55. I explained our situation and asked for an exception. Instead of any empathy, the host's tone turned cold: "We're fully committed for dinner." By then, I'd had enough. I asked for the check and requested they remove one of the items--because gnats were literally on our food. No one apologized. No one tried to make it right. I walked out feeling disappointed, embarrassed, and honestly a bit grossed out. I wanted so badly for this to be a nice experience, especially since I convinced my fiancé and mother-in-law to stay after the first red flag. This place used to be great. But now? My family came here for my sister's birthday brunch, and the food was delicious--definitely worth a cheat meal. The cool thing about Cork Fire is most of their food is for sharing so you can order a bunch and share. It is all great and you will love it. We were there for dinner. The place has parking as well as some street parking. Make a reservation. The service is excellent. They know the menu well and can help you with sharing options and non sharing options. We tried a lot of it. The staff is so sweet, the place is so pretty and it is kept looking wonderful. We had salmon belly tacos with toasted corn salad, pickled red onion and salsa rioja. We loved the crispy pork belly with celery root schnitzel, savoy cabbage and barley. The cast iron Brussel sprouts were so good with crispy pork belly, sriracha aioli and grana padano. The wild mushrooms, sort of a side dish, along with splendid mashed potatoes was just so creamy and wonderful. We ordered 2 of those. We also ordered from the non sharing menu (but we shared anyway) diver scallops with kaffir lime nori emulsion, lemon spaetzle with a taste of apple, kohlrabi and basil, with roasted maitake mushrooms. Just yum. The fish and chips were great. We all loved the chips and the fish was tempura mahi mahi, with white soy tartar sauce. We ate a lot of food. We had to try dessert so we went with ricotta donut holes and a cast iron bread pudding. These were not stand out for us, but they were very good and not one was left. It is nice and cool in there. The Angus burger was just average and definitely needed some lettuce, tomatoes or onions to balance the meat and cheese. Decor is nice with a great view of the golf course but price was high for the steak. The ambiance was nice on a friday night. The bar was lively which I enjoyed while waiting for our table. The bar tenders are great and very attentive! Our waitress was lovely had the best recommendations and very friendly. She made our experience feel very warm and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. My only complaint is the girl at the front desk who has the most unfriendly attitude. We called to ask if we could book a reservation and she was so rude. We went in as a walk in and were happy to wait although her attitude about it was as if we were an inconvenience. When they finally txt us to our table I walked up and she didn't acknowledge me for five minutes as she was typing on her device and didn't look up once at me. I waited patiently until a lovely waitress finally came and sat us. Honestly I don't understand why they advertise prawns on the Romaine salad menu when it's typically just Shrimp, and the romaine lettuce, let me express how incredibly tiny they are, definitely not worth the . The prawns were so tough way over cooked. Fish and chips were yummy. Service was good our waitress Sam was nice. There is a nice ambience overlooking the golf course.. do I recommend this place absolutely not! will we come back again? absolutely not! To top it off we were seated in a complete broken table. Did they do anything about it, NO! They did come and look at it and inform us they were going to let somebody know, but that was about it. Unfortunately, I need to give this place a bad review since my experience is not what I expected. The servers, and hostess are extremely Unprofessional. The hostess were just chatting up, and on their phones while people were waiting. They did now acknowledge anyone around. The bartenders are so racist! It took one of them 8 MINUTES to ask me if I needed something after me waiving them down. Keep in mind that this place was not busy at all. Even the person next to me bought me a drink because he felt bad I had to go through that. The bartenders excuse was "Oh sorry, I didn't see you". It's a very small bar, with maybe 8 people around it! How did you not see me?!? To top it off, there was 2 gentleman next to me that sat down and they got service and drinks in front of them within less than 2 minutes of being there. It was obvious that I stood out, and I was the "outsider" of that place since I wasn't white or Asian. Worts feeling ever. This happened both on Friday with dinner, and Saturday with drinks after playing golf. I did not go back on Sunday as I refuse to give this place my service again. We went to try the Cast Iron Brussels Sprouts, the Orange Pomegranate Salad, the Icelandic Salmon, the Mary's Farms Airline Chicken Breast, and the Crispy Pork Belly. For dessert, we also tried the bread pudding. The staff were attentive and offered if there was anything else they could get for us and ensured that excellent service and experience were provided. We stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn when house-hunting several years ago before we moved to Temecula. So while we had had enjoyed breakfast/brunch at Cork|Fire, we had never been there for dinner. All that was remedied recently when we met up with friends for an evening trifecta of great drinks, great food and great company at Cork|Fire. Up first, cocktails! The holy hand grenade was delicious, not too sweet and beautifully garnished, and tableside smoking of some old-fashioneds is always fun. While the creamy cider vinaigrette on my Waldorf burrata salad was yummy, I didn't think there was enough "stuff" in the salad (apples, grapes, celery and pecans). For the main course, the diver scallops with lemon spaetzle was excellent - perfectly seared with an incredible sauce. My husband had the wagyu flat iron steak which was delicious as well. I rarely order dessert when dining out. I do a LOT of baking at home and have pretty high standards in this regard. But if I see something interesting - like the donut holes - or a lemon dessert, I'm in! Our table had the ricotta donut holes and the berry tart. While I really enjoyed the donut holes (but would ask for extra whiskey caramel sauce next time), my husband wasn't wild about them. You get six large warmed donut holes which have the texture of a cake donut (which I prefer) instead of a lighter yeast donut. The berry tart however, was nothing to write home about. I found the chocolate pastry shell to be way too thick and while I love that they use local berries which were good, the custard was disappointing. Service was great, ambiance is warm and overall, our cocktails & meals were excellent. So this dinner experience, coupled with several awesome breakfasts and lunches awhile back, merit Cork|Fire a five-star rating in my book! read more

The spicy bloody mary I ordered was so good, bartender did an awesome job! He was also our server, and he was fantastic, great service! Cork Fire in another wonderful place to grab Brunch, while sitting back and relaxing on a Sunday morning. We came here on New Year's Day, and both the bar and restaurant were packed. Thankfully, we had made reservations several weeks ahead. We had to waited several minutes for our table, but we were cool with that. The food was very good, with the star being their Coddled Egg dish with Gruyère cheese. We also tried their Nachos appetizer, Beef Barbacoa Benedict and Two Eggs Homestyle. Even though it was a rainy day, we enjoyed watching the golfers trying to dodge the drops and get a hole in before it came down. Four Stars. My love and I have been here twice. First in July 2023 for my honey's birthday. We had implacable service and the food was beyond amazing. Chefs garden is adorable and the ambiance, especially while the sun sets, was romantic and beautiful. They also gave him a sweet complimentary happy birthday dessert Foods we loved: Seared Diver Scallops 8oz Prime NY Steak Plus the dessert The second time we went in July 2024 for my honey's and his best friend's birthdays however we were very dissatisfied and disappointed. The steak meal we ordered was ordered to be medium rare and came out completely over cooked. For the price we paid for that steak and the way that the manager and chef Lori Anne Erika it was absolutely disappointing. We got an "oh well" sorry from them. They didn't offer to give a new steak and when asked they said no! This blew my mind. No refund, no redo on the cook of the steak and the manager said oh well we can give you a free dessert. She was very unpleasant and we hope she isn't there the next time we come for a redemption experience. We didn't even take photos of this meal because of the dissatisfaction. Wow, let me start off by saying how incredible the food and atmosphere is at cork fire kitchen, I have had a privilege of being part of some of their chefs dinner and I must tell you they are unique! Each meal better than the next, the service is always on point and the food is amazing. I love the new direction they are taking its a breath of fresh air this is exactly what Temecula needed. Their new fall menu is great as well, the calamari is my all time favorite and the new halibut is to die for, don't forget to order one of their spectacular smoked ol fashions which are delightful. 10/10 will recommend, cork fire has always been our spot to go for special occasions and now it's definitely a staple. read more

The grilled chicken sandwich was really good with good flavor. It could have come off the grill maybe 2-3 minutes earlier it was a little dry. The service? We only seen our waitress Cass (Cassandra) when she took our order, delivered my Sangria (after I had to ask the lady who brought out our food for another drink), and after someone else closed out our check. Went here 3 times. First 2 times we had great service, waiters & food was really good but the last visit was straight trash. Our waitress was extremely unprofessional, distracted and would get lost somewhere pretty often that even her coworkers couldn't find her at times. Beautiful, warm, intimate dining experience at Cork Fire Kitchen. What a beautiful spot for our surprise date night. My husband picks local places to try and this one was perfection. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable and between us we downed 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. Off the cuff, the octopus tacos were a triumph. Tender and seasoned to perfection. We both agreed next time to order another round of them! The hummus with blueberries and feta sounded different but was delicious and served with crispy fry bread you will not want to pass on!
