I like that their brunch includes more than just your usual omelettes and skillets. I ordered the coddled eggs ($18). The eggs are coddled in cream, asparagus, bacon, and Gruyere. It comes with smashed potatoes and sourdough bread. This was rich! And good with the sourdough! My entree comically came with like 6 potatoes, so there was that. The kitchen oddly ran out of a lot of things the morning we brunched, so our choices were rather limited. Everyone's entree was fine, but nothing noteworthy to return to. They were also short staffed that morning so waiting in the heat to eat was a little excruciating. I think, though we aren't given a choice, people dine for the golf view? In that case, I'd highly recommend sitting inside where you can get the view from the entire dining room, or request a table facing the golf course. We were sadly seated on the side that resembled someone's backyard deck. It wouldn't have been so bad had it not been a thousand degrees, but it was a no view, very hot dining experience. read more

I stayed longer due to the fact that I was overwhelmed by the food and hospitality. Time just flew. I am very picky with my Egg Benedicts and I'm glad I wasn't let down. Egg was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The pancakes were my favorite. Light fluffy and the jam made it perfect. Breakfast at Cork Fire is a must in Temecula. Finally a fantastic high end restaurant! Food, service, bar and atmosphere are all 5-stars.

We keep coming back to dine at Cork Fire Kitchen because the food and service is always good. There seems to be new items on the menu each time, though I am glad the coddled egg breakfast is still on the menu-it's one of my favorites. My meal today started with a Bloody Mary, which was a meal in itself and so yummy. There was just enough horseradish to give it a little bit of a delicious kick, a slice of bacon, and two green olives. Appetizer was the dry rub chicken wings, which tasted like it was coated in crushed BBQ potato chips and garnished with colorful sliced carrots. Beware--they were messy and left orange remnants all over our mouth and on our hands. While they were tasty and cooked well, I'll pass on these next time for something not so messy! The entree was carnitas chilaquiles, shared with hubby. Layers of tortilla chips covered in the delicious carnitas in a green sauce and topped with two eggs. It's a really big portion and I was glad we shared it. The restaurant has comfortable seating and is nicely decorated. We like the booths next to the windows where you can watch golfers finishing up at the 18th hole and the decorative waterfall/pond. After our meal we strolled through their chefs garden. 07/13/24 - Late Post We came here to celebrate two birthdays and had a reservation for 12:30p.m. This day was extremely hot and coming from San Diego, I was not happy with the weather. I think there was an event because I had some difficulty circling and finding a parking spot when I came here but eventually find a spot. This was my first time here so I wasn't sure if this was normal or not. The place was very nice, and the temperature made up for the heat outside. We were sat by big windows, so we had a very nice view of the golf course. This place was busy. We ordered the following: * Appetizers: Wings, Hummus and a side of fry bread. * Meals: Brioche French Toast, CFK Burger and Carnitas Chilaquiles The wings had a korean inspired sauce and was really yummy. Not spicy for me at all. The hummus was also good but I think as a group, we enjoyed the flat bread a LOT. We didn't know what it was but it was yummy. I had the Carnitas Chilaquiles and it was good but found it too tart for my taste, but the meat itself was good. My friends enjoyed their meals except one of the burgers was on the dry side. Two weeks ago was my first time at Corkfire Kitchen, there were 10 of us. Everyone was very pleased with their choice, location, service and atmosphere. So good in fact, my husband and I went again yesterday for our anniversary dinner. We had the same waiter Triston (sp?) both evenings. What a wonderful, friendly and educated about the menu items. We started off with the Calamari and it was so tender. Husband had the Pesto Chicken sandwich and I had the Tempura Fish and Chips, both were fantastic. My, my, my. What a wonderful experience we had at Corkfire Kitchen. Now, to be honest, we are old people who don't eat very much any more, so don't be surprised when tell you we had an appetizer order of duck meatballs that we shared then each had a salad (but the salads were almost young person entree size). The order of duck meatballs consisted of three meatballs each just slightly smaller than a baseball. They were presented covered with house made marinara and multiple pieces of delicious rustic bread. The meatballs were distractingly delicious. We shared those, but I could have eaten a serving of three alongside a small salad and been totally full (and thankful that chefs who can come up with those duck meatballs exist). The salads we each had were excellent, as well. I typically rate my salads based in the crispness of the greens, and these were prime, to say the least. However, as good as the food was, the highlight of the evening was our server, Jessica. This young woman is incredibly personable, very attentive to our needs and desires, and most of all, amazingly skilled in her craft. We come to Temecula several times a year, and with Corkfire Kitchen, have found a place we will probably come to each time we are in town. When we do come in, we will assuredly ask to be seated at a table being served by Jessica. After all, the food is only half of the enjoyment of an excellent meal. read more

We stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn for a Galentines weekend and ended up coming to Corkfire twice. The bar area is cozy and welcoming and the wait staff were so kind. We ordered the Calamari (a little salty), The burger (10/10!), and the bread pudding. Overall, it was a great meal. Highly recommend. read more

Great place! Didn't know it was at the golf course but it's a cute little place with indoor and patio seating. Dog friendly on the patio, and plenty of space. Ordered the coddled egg which comes in a skillet with buttered toast on the side and potatoes. The egg was a poached one covered with cheese sauce, asparagus, and bacon. So yummy! The chilaquiles were so tasty and flavorful. The Carnitas had so much flavor not dry at all. The sauce was amazing, the tortillas are thick covered in this salsa sauce. We visited on a Thursday evening for dinner and found plenty of parking available. Although our reservation was for 8 PM, we arrived early, and the staff graciously seated us ahead of schedule. The ambiance was charming, with a cozy log cabin vibe and tasteful hardware accents. We chose a booth and regretted not arriving earlier to enjoy what would have been stunning views of the golf course at sunset. Our waitress greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. While there was an extensive wine selection, we opted not to drink that evening. For our meal, we ordered two salads and cheeseburgers. The salads were well-prepared and flavorful, while the burgers were good but not particularly memorable. Our waitress checked on us frequently and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Overall, we were pleased with our entire experience. However, I'm not sure the steep prices are justified based on what was coming out of the kitchen but I guess I need to come back to try something a little more interesting than a burger. read more

This was an easy 5 stars, starting with walking in the door. The decor was incredible and then the view of the golf course tops that. Staff were friendly and attentive. The service was really kind and attentive and the space gives off ski lodge vibes with a beautiful view of the golf course, but the food was *not* good. We ordered the nachos and the lavender blueberry salad to share, I ordered the butternut squash risotto for my main dish, and my husband ordered the special (which was a red sauce pasta dish with pork). Every item looked and tasted like the food you get from a "nice" hospital cafeteria...the nachos were soooo underwhelming, I've had better significantly better premade salads from Sprouts, the flavors with the bucatini gave off Chef Boyardee blended with green olive-vibes, and the risotto was under cooked and otherwise bland. We went to celebrate our anniversary, so they (very kindly) gave us a "Happy Anniversary" desert, which I am 90% sure was a Little Debbie's Cosmic Brownie. If you're in the Temecula area this place can be a vibe especially for those who like golfing. They are located right next to one and you can have a view of it while you have a meal. We came here for brunch and honestly would give it a 3/5 mainly because... The ambiance was cozy and the staff were pleasant. The other drink we tried was the YOU'RE KILLIN ME SMALLS fauxtail and it came in a cute little bear cup, it tasted pretty much like chocolate milk, not too sweet. The tempura fish n chips was a let down. I was hopeful for it because I love me a comfort meal and it lacked in flavor. I did read the reviews about it and wanted to still try it for myself. The batter was not crispy for most of the pieces. The chips that they recommended were good on the side, but definitely needed something to elevate it. My fiancé had the CANADIAN BACON BENEDICT, he mentioned that the hollandaise sauce had a nice acidity to it and the pesto made it stand out more. Other than that it was your average Canadian eggs Benedict. Lastly, we got the BURRATA DI CAPRESE as appetizer and that was tasty and refreshing! Though we could have loved a little more bread on the side to finish it off. Ohh if you order the CHOCOLATE OLIVE OIL CAKE, note that it has a strong orange flavor to it. Which was super surprising, but refreshing. The Churro ice cream sandwich was okay, churro was a bit doughy and we believe the ice cream could be a bit more firm so we could have it as a sandwich, as it was melting so fast and ended up being soupy when eating it. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical when our wedding party walked in and they said they were not prepared for this many people but they came through. My table ordered a bunch of apps and main courses to share. I believe our server was Tristan and he made sure our glasses were full of both water and wine lol as well as we didn't wait too long for our food. To make this short and concise, the service was off. The front end was good . Greeting and cocktails went well. The server seemed a little rushed to get our main dish. So we threw in an order for an appetizer. 30 minutes in we ordered the main dishes. The dishes came out in another 15 minutes, and were only at room temp. Maybe a little warmer. They seemed premade but I would no way of proving that other than the temp. My Chicken in wine reduction on potato purée was tender but room temp. Purée was very bland. Veggie side was mush. Thank you CK for taking care of our big party last night and we are truly grateful for the accommodations provided to us as we celebrated a milestone birthday for our beloved friend! We enjoyed our appetizers and mocktails, but surprisingly the entrees underperformed for both my wife and I. I don't want to go into too much detail here, but I honestly feel any disappointment we had with the food was probably due to the size of our group, and honestly after such amazing appetizers are expectations were probably too high! THEE BEST part of our experience came from the graceful and talented wait staff who did their absolute best to keep us satisfied and happy. In particular Jessica, who we observed to always be wearing a smile. She was also very warm, welcoming, attentive, funny, thoughtful, and respectful. From meeting her during set-up (she and the whole staff were ultra helpful btw) to all the way until the cake cutting, we were utterly pleased with her service; because it was clear to us that anything and everything we asked of her (that was in her control) she executed fulfilling that request at a high level. Cork Fire Kitchen is one of those Temecula gems that makes you slow down and actually enjoy your morning. The atmosphere is calm and scenic -- you're looking out over the golf course, surrounded by trees, with a soft breeze coming through the patio. I came for brunch and ordered the chilaquiles, and wow -- easily some of the best I've had. Perfectly crispy tortillas, just the right amount of spice, creamy avocado, and eggs cooked exactly how I asked. You can tell they actually care about the ingredients here. Service was friendly and relaxed -- our server checked in just enough without hovering. My friends tried the short rib hash and French toast, and everyone left happy (and full). Between the views, the cocktails, and that plate of chilaquiles, this place is an easy 5/5 for me. Definitely a go-to brunch stop next time I'm in Temecula. read more

WARNING!!! There is a cake cutting fee if you bring any type or size of bday dessert for your loved one or friend. IT's $25 dollars. Our server Hayden was awesome. We asked if we could enjoy our tiny cake after we purchased alcohol and food and he said there is a fee. Thinking ok that's fair maybe it could possibly be $10 for a high end charge... NO it's TWENTY FIVE dollars. We all choked when the bill arrive. This is only a Warning so you don't make same mistake or assume it would be a realistic fee. Manager came explaining and we were all adults in conversation, but he never once said hey we'll waive this fee this time and hope that you'll return again and enjoy our chef's beautiful desserts. Note to establishment: List or verbally explain the fee amount so a judgement call on behalf of your customers can be made fairly. read more

The bad: Very limited menu, and overpriced for sure. Service is sub-par and staff appears to be poorly trained. Patio area is awkward - chairs are too low and a heavy railing is right there at eye level, which blocks the view of the golf course. Feels like a very casual patio directly off the bar, not a place for a nice dinner. Severs are running back and forth from the dining room to the patio area and a little overwhelmed and not able to accommodate what everyone needs. May be a good place to grab a bit after golf, but absolutely not a destination place for dinner. read more

We flagged someone down because we were completely ignored by two other servers out there even thought they noticed we still had nothing on the table. Someone got our server , Nathan. While he was super nice, he didn't apologize for being late or forgetting us. Drinks came out fast, so did the food. He said he'd be back with silverware and never did. By the time food came, the runner had to make two trips to bring us condiments and silverware. I politely let them hostess girls know, and they just said ok thanks! We spent 4 days at the Temecula Inn, and Corkfire Kitchen is part of the resort. We had a wonderful experience! Almost everyone we encountered was personable and helpful. Chef Ben Diaz has curated an interesting menu. We only ate at one other restaurant during our stay because the food here is delicious and varied. Really enjoyed the coddled eggs for breakfast and the charred Eggplants Hummus and duck meatballs were excellent appetizers. The coq au vin was maybe the best I have tasted. Service was friendly and personable. Daytime bar tenders, Questa and Christian, were extremely friendly and helpful, and Laura made our visit enjoyable. We will be back!!! read more
