I can get a gourmet Boars head sandwich at Sprouts and a soup and a drink of my choice for under $12 dollars. I have visited Corner Bakery a few times now. Each visit has been better then the last. I like the Uptown Turkey Avacado paired with a bowl of Tomatoe Basil soup. 1st time trying this restaurant had a bogo coupon. Ordered a pesto chicken sandwich and a spinach salad. Food was tasty definitely made with fresh ingredients. Salad was the star of the meal but sandwich was good lacking on pesto but I went to the counter and got a side of pesto. Cute interior, friendly staff and an extensive menu of choices. Just not impressed. I've met my friend here for lunch a few times. I've had a club sandwich and now a tuna sandwich and was disappointed with both. The tuna was just so bland. The staff is friendly and it's a nice place and it's kept very clean. Just wasn't that good. Also kind of pricey for what it is. I could tell they are using quality ingredients and everything but it just lacks something flavor-wise. This is our family favorite! The staff is always nice, never any issues re coupons. My favorite is the pick 2 for $8.99. I typically order the uptown turkey advocado on sourdough with Big Al's chili. The philly cheese is the best, top quality meat. Put it on Butter grilled sourdough. I'm not a big tomato soup, however thiers is great. The managers runs a smooth operation. Even at full Thursday lunch hour, our food was served under 10 minutes. Don't get me started about thier bakery. The chocolate bunt cake, is one of best I've ever had! Before 12pm, place is very packed! May take longer than usual to get your order. I've gotten a panini here and it was toasted way more than I would have wanted. Fast casual chain bakery similar to Panera. For breakfast try any of the breakfast paninis or one of my favorites, the swiss oats. They have excellent soups, pastas, and sandwiches made fresh to order. Save room for desserts as they have a variety of fresh baked cakes, cookies, and pastries. The salad (Santa Fe Ranch?) came in a smaller bowl and was filled to the brim. BAD: I think for the price, the 1/8th SMALL bowl of Chicken Carbonara wasn't worth it for me.
