My boss treated me to lunch here on my first day of training in the SeaTac area and touted it to me as "similar to Panera." Those words roughly translated to me as "order mac n cheese here." I must say, I am sorely disappointed there is no Corner Bakery Cafe location in Oahu, because the amount of food you get is quality, and the options would keep me happy and returning for weeks. I didn't even have dessert (which I very much regret), but that bowl of mac n cheese was such a filling portion and tasty to the last bite. I got a half tuna sandwich along with it, which was good, but not good enough to note. The side salad was flavorful and fresh, a good compliment to the meal. It was nice to be served sitting down and checked on as well, since the set-up of the restaurant didn't really dictate that kind of service. I came to Corner Bakery as was one of my favorite places. I ordered the sandwich that I always order. When I got my food, I started eating the sandwich and realized that it tasted funny and I couldn't figure out why it tasted different. Then in looking at it I realized, because instead of the mayonnaise that they were supposed to put on, they put on something else like it was green and so I assume it was pesto. I went up and informed one of the workers and she argued with me that they didn't use anything except for mayonnaise. So I took the sandwich back up and showed her and I said I can't eat this and she just looked at me. So I didn't eat at my sandwich. They did not offer to reimburse me. They did not offer to make me another sandwich. They did not offer anything. So no I would not recommend this restaurant because if something goes wrong well you're just out of luck. read more

Clean and inviting atmosphere with a nice trendy, yet home comforting style of seating. I got their Anaheim Scramble with fruit, sliced whole grain bread, and chocolate milk, my daughter got pancakes with fruit instead of bacon with a juice pouch(100% Capri Sun juice). All under $20! The guy who dropped our food(Cameron) was also so nice too, he noticed we didn't have sauces on our table and offered to grab some as well! The scramble was delicious, good portioned and filled with all the delicious scrambled goodies like avocado, bacon, tomatoes, etc, so refreshing with the fresh cut fruit, the toast was yummy, and had a lot of bite and some seeds (which I love, it adds so much texture). I love the pancakes here. Yesterday, I came to dine in since the lockdown. I feel happy that they opened for dine in, not just Togo. The pancakes were good and soft. I would love to go back there but the only concern I have was the safety from Covid-19. All of the staffs didn't wear masks. I'm not sure if they are aware about their own health and the customer health. If they catch Covid-19, it is obvious that they could transfer to the customer. Why can't they just wear a mask?. After driving past this place so many times, my sister and I decided to stop by after receiving coupons in the mail. Before going here, I actually read some reviews online and some people said that the layout of the place was confusing. I found it pretty straightforward as the line for ordering was just ahead of the entrance. We came in for lunch and right as we entered, there was handout of the menu so we were able to take time to decide what we wanted before getting in line and being unsure of what to get at the register. Ultimately, I settled for a Club Panini with a side of Cesar salad while my sister went for the Uptown Turkey Avocado sandwich with the fruit medley as the side. Both of these items were full-sized. The total came to around $20 however with the coupon, I only had to pay $10. We then sat down and waited for our food, which did not take long to arrive. When we received our food, we were surprised at the size of the portions. The sandwich and panini were surprisingly large for the price and everything tasted fresh. My sister and I will definitely be coming back even without coupons because the portion sizes are large and the price is affordable. Luckily we were starving so both of our plates were wiped clean. If I could do 3.5 stars, I would. This was my first corner bakery cafe experience and I couldn't help but compare it to Panera from the moment I walked in. Maybe it is just personal preference, but panera ultimately wins out. Pros: friendly staff who deliver food to your table after ordering, refill coffee, and take your plates. Their bread side item is better than panera's baguettes. Cons: the potato soup was too chunky for me. Down the road from our hotel we came here for breakfast. Upon entering you order what you want, they give you a number and food will be delivered to your table. Typical home style breakfast but the 5 stars were for the pancakes. It was moist and it didn't taste starchy or cakey. I guess my expectations were a little too high. Basically this is an IHOP on a self serve format. The food was passable and just a notch above McDonald's for breakfast. You order at the counter, then find a seat and they bring the food to you. The problem I have is that the food didn't come at the same time to our table. Plus there was a lot of confusion on our order where the staff brought extra food that we didn't order. The prices weren't that great for the type of service. Next time I'll go to IHOP. I was very shocked by the service I received at the Tukwila WA location on my last visit. This was back in October and after reviewing my service via email follow up to rate my service as well as through a corporate review I received no follow up and haven't been back since after being probably a once a month regular. This was my third time doing specifically a curbside pickup. On 10.29.22 when I called to let them know I was outside the girl that picked up said she didn't think they do that and asked a coworker. It went silent for a few seconds and then she said "I guess we can bring it out, what order is it?" Then before I could answer she yelled "HELLO?!" I told her I was still here and gave the name on the order. Then she said "okay and what... are you here?" I said yes and that I was pulled up to the curb and she just hung up. When she came out she straight scolded me and said they don't do curbside. I told her their site says they do and says to call in upon arrival and that I have done it before and she said "well I have never heard of it" and just walked away. I went back to look at my order and sure enough it said this: "Please go inside to the Online Order Pickup area OR call the cafe when you arrive to have your order brought out to you." I'm not sure what her name was but she was about 20 years old, tall/thin with think black eyeliner and medium length black hair in two braided pigtails. I understand she could have been newer and truly not known but this was no way to treat a customer regardless. And if curbside pickup truly isn't an option anymore then it should not say it is on their site. It was a seamless experience the two times prior I did a curbside pickup.
