A starter basket of mini muffins, nice ambiance, friendly service, and a happy birthday pastry! Overall our experience was solid. The omelette, mango smoothie, French press coffee, and chicken and waffles were standouts. The crab Benedict, side of bacon, and fresh toast earned three stars, with some generosity added in. The crab Benedict was missing some flavor, the French toast was dry and did not have the promised white chocolate, and the bacon tasted almost like jerky (To be fair, our waitress did tell us, if the restaurant had a special it would be the chicken and waffles). Overall, we'd keep Corner Cafe on our list of quality brunches in Atlanta if not a "must visit".

Over 25 minutes to have 2 simple sandwiches served to us. I ordered my BLT with extra bacon for a $3 up charge and I could barely find 3 slices. Can't substitute the boring salad greens so if you want anything else there's another up charge. Love the atmosphere but service was absolutely terrible and food was mediocre.

Food was incredibly mediocre and service was slow especially for the amount of people there. I did like the digitized payments and bill splitting that they have at every table. It's pricey for the amount of food and type of food that comes out. Wouldn't really recommend it.

I love this restaurant because they make their own bread. They have one of the best croissants in town. If you want to have a good breakfast with the family this is your jam. The service was great and always efficient. The menu is small and very delicious. The restaurant is spacious and it has a lot of lighting. If you are in Buckhead and do not know where to go for lunch, this is your jam! The inly reason that I gave them 4 stars it is because of the presentation. The egg was broken and should have been caught by the chef before serving.

It really makes a difference having a good manager here again! Yen, the manager make sure everyone extends great customer service and the food comes out on time I had stayed away from coming here because the service was poor and slow But once I learned they were gonna get good management again I'm returning again and again! I usually order their grilled cheese or they're special and always look forward love their complementary muffins

I had high hopes but unfortunately the food did not live up to it. My arugula pear bartlett salad sounded good in theory but was delivered heavily dressed and wilted. The nutella latte tasted so sugary like a kid's chocolate milk with extra syrup, meanwhile I was expecting an actual latte. My sister said she enjoyed her grilled cheese and tomato soup. The service was sufficient and the ambience was fine. I also got a baguette bread to take home from the bakery and it was not it.

Arriving on a Sunday just before 10 am, there was about a 15 minute wait for a table of 3. The cafe shares space with a bread company which was a perfect wait to feeds our eyes while we waited. Otherwise, you can also leave while you wait for the text message for the table. We started on their complimentary muffins in the flavors of banana bread and chocolate chip. They were a little dry and could have been better if served warm but it was still a sweet way to start the meal. I got their CC "Cuban" Panini Sandwich which was not my favorite Cuban I've had but it was still solid. The sandwich plus the leek potato soup was a great combination since the soup was so creamy and rich. My friend's Roasted Rosemary Lamb Sandwich was deliciously juice and flavorful. A simple improvement could have been toasting the bun first. My mom enjoyed her Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Benedict which was served on circular cut outs of plain bread, which were a little to small compared to using the traditional English muffins. Overall, I had a pleasant experience in this locally owned shop. The staff were kind from beginning to end and it was a comfortable and homey environment to be in. I wouldn't mind coming again to try more items from their menu but especially for the lamb burger.

Great dining experience here. A pretty diverse menu with lots of breakfast options to choose from. On mornings you can expect a bit of a wait but nothing too crazy. Ordered the corned beef hash and it was amazing. Great texture and the two eggs on top were poached perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient.

I can't believe I have lived here in Atlanta all this time and I have never been to this hidden jewel. I enjoyed a lovely brunch with wonderful service. Cassie was wonderful, thank you so much. I had the Banannas Foster Pancakes Delicious!! THE atmosphere was friendly and sunny and it was a great way to start my day! Now that I have discovered this gem, I will be back for sure.

The Corner Cafe, a member of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, has been serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch along Piedmont Road since 1994. The Buckhead Bread Company is the on-site bakery producing over 60 styles of European-style breads and rolls as well as pastries. Walking in, you can see the long counter of croissants, danishes, muffins, scones, and buns. Corner Cafe offers four types of Eggs Benedict, sandwiches, soups, and specialty brunch items such as Avocado Egg Toast, "Nutella" Belgium Waffles, Scratch Corner Beef Hash, and "Bananas Foster" Buttermilk Pancakes. The Cafe is a bright, comfortable environment, and I love the classic European design of the front of the restaurant, with its wood tones, beams, and panelings. We received solid customer service. My husband and I arrived on a Sunday late morning and ordered the Lump Crab Cake Benedict and Pancakes with eggs and cheese grits. We grabbed a cheese pocket and a cinnamon donut muffin because we couldn't resist grabbing a few desserts to enjoy later. The crab cake was a bit salty, and I did not love the discs that served as the foundation for the benedict. However, the potatoes were crispy and flavorful. My husband's pancakes were a highlight, as they were fluffy and tasty even before syrup was added. The pastries were so good! The cheese pocket was so rich and flaky, and the sweet cheese was so smooth. We also loved the muffin, which really tasted like a cake donut rolled in cinnamon and sugar. I also recommend not passing up on their coffee offerings, especially the French press service. I would love to return to explore more of those sinful pastries and to try some of their lunch offerings.

Avocado toast. Nice bread, plenty of avocado, 2 eggs on top. Nice little salad. Cappuccino that comes with 2 mini muffins! Very tasty! Everything was great! The service was good. Gets busy in the morning.

Food. Lots of breakfast staples. Eggs Benedict was good but very heavy on the lemon flavor in the hollandaise sauce. The corned beef was slightly more but better. Service was quick but I think 1030 on a Monday is a slow time. Only thing I didn't like was having to pay with a QR code on the table. And the lowest suggested tip of 25% one star off for that

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I called in the morning to confirm the time they serve it. I was told to get here by 12:30pm because they serve the burgers at 1pm and the line gets long and they run out. Found out later in line from the person in front of me that they make 130-170 burgers and they sell them all. That's a lot of burgers. I thought it was all hype because I got there at 12:20pm and there was no line. I went in and asked to make sure this was the right place, the guy said to wait outside, they start selling it at 1pm. I was 1st in line. Waited 5 mins then went to my car to get my headphones. By the time I came back, 3 people were now in front of me. I guess the 12:30pm recommendation was valid. By 12:35pm there were 20 people behind me. I do not like waiting, so I'm glad I was early to at least be served 1st. Never been here before, they are busy. When I got here, it was packed with people buying bread and pastries inside. I didn't get to buy the sourdough bread. It was sold out. Apparently, the locals come every Sunday for this burger. I guess they hang a burger flag out when it's burger time some of the people in the line in front of me felt a way that they didn't do that this time. I guess they're getting comfortable and just trying to knock the rush/crowd out. I think coming at one would be fine if they're selling 170 burgers I think the problem is they don't limit the amount of burgers you can buy. At least I don't think so. Now for this burger. Not worth it. Not worth the wait or the hype. I'm still surprised how basic tasted. They need a housemate sauce or something on it. It's literally just one burger and pickles. If it was pack full of flavor and well seasoned, that would be enough. But it's not. The best part about it is the bun. And 30mins after eating the burger, I didn't feel so good. My stomach started hurting, and that was the only thing I ate all day. I avoid eating beef altogether, but I will here and there as of late. My boyfriend eats beef, but he started feeling sick maybe an hour later as well. I was disappointed because I didn't know they pre-make the burgers and just throw them in the bag. You can't customize it or anything. I think we got sick because the burgers were medium. They were not cooked well, and I always get beef burgers cooked all the way through. The way they're rushing you out of there like an express assembly line is crazy. I really wanted to wait to ask them to prepare me two, made well since they were making burgers as they were going along, I believe. I would have waited to have them made well but the way they were rushing you out, it just wasn't the place to ask for anything extra or additional and I don't like places like that. Too strict too many rules and you don't feel comfortable. Even though you're spending $70 on 2 burgers and some pastries. Compared to a pack of ground beef to make your own burgers, this is a lot. I bought two burgers $17 each, and 5 pastries to try because I won't be coming back here anytime soon. I will say, great pastry selection. I was talking to a guy in line and I asked him if he ever had the kouign amann. It looked good. He said yes, it was good, and the chocolate kouign amann, he's going to try as well. I purchased a chocolate kouign amann, a regular kouign amann, cardamom bun, a hazelnut bun, and monkey bread. I wrote everything down outside that I was going to buy so I didn't waste any time. I already spotted the monkey bread when I walked in. The woman packaging up the food was about to fix her face to say they didn't have any monkey bread, when they were clearly at the other end. Maybe that was her doing me a favor because I was highly disappointed in the monkey bread. I'm on a monkey bread kick, and I have been trying it at a lot of places. This one was not good. They sprinkle lemon zest on it, which kind of threw me off, and the bread itself was very dry even after warming it up, adding melted butter and honey. It still was not good. The best thing was the original kouign amann. The chocolate one was not good because they have chocolate on the inside kind of like moose or ganache, but it was overwhelming. It tasted like dark cocoa chocolate, and I thought the pastry was dark because the whole thing was chocolate, but it actually was burnt. A lot of the items looked burnt to be honest. I think the demand is getting to this place. The cardamom bun was just ok. The hazelnut bun was just an extension of the monkey bread to me. Not a fan. I remember growing up, we went to the local butcher and bakery to get fresh meat, bread, and pastries for cheap. I like the idea of a local bakery and butcher shop like this, but this place is not cheap. I'd skip this one.

For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!
