This is my favorite sandwich place :) I've been there and ordered " Don Won" twice. There were many kind of sandwiches in this place, but I always want to get "Don won"!! It consist of pastrami, coleslaw, mustard, melted cheese, and french fries... It's big but easy to eat because it's cut 2 or 3 parts, so you can share with your friend, couple, or family :) Then you should try another one!! I also liked "prime rib" sandwich. Went back and tried the Korean BBQ sandwich which is the Tuesday special of the day. Wow. The Don Wan is amazing... the KBBQ turns it up one more notch. Great meat... with that tangy Korean BBQ taste. Get some extra Korean BBQ sauce on the side. We got there at 5:10pm and the place was empty... but I saw crowds at the chain places across the street in the mall. WTF people... forget about Applebees, Dennys, and Olive Garden... WOW. Totally unexpected when i took that first bite into my Korean BBQ sandwich. Soft, crunchy, spicy and meaty all in the same bite! Sooooooo tastey! I was so excited when i was ordering that i didnt even see that there were sauces you could order lol so make sure you look at that im sure they add that much more to the sandwich! I was referred to this place by my best fellow yelper so I had high expectations walking in the door. Luckily they exceeded my expectations completely! It was late Friday night, we had just battled our way out of LA rush hour traffic for the past few hours and were on the way up to Vegas, and we really really needed something to eat. Checked Yelp, and lo and behold there was a 4.5 star sandwich place at Ontario Mills! We somehow took a wrong turn after parking and wound up in the food court of the outlet, but t'was a minor detour in our search for some really good sandwiches. When we arrived across the street at Corner Deli, we weren't even sure if it was open or not since it appeared to be nestled next to a bunch of places that were already closed. Good thing it wasn't. It was rather empty though, but that's no matter. They have a pretty large menu....I ended up ordering the Penguin, which was turkey, avocado, and some other stuff I can't remember. Added on a slice of provolone cheese...cause you know you gotta have a slice of cheese. I didn't get any sides to go with my sandwich, but my friends got some fries and sweet potato fries that were both pretty good. And one of the fries came with what I believe was some really delicious garlic aioli. All that, for only about $7. Plus they were showing my college football game on the TV. This is hands down, my favorite sandwich place to eat in all of the United States, and I've been to exactly 35 different states, making sure to Yelp great sandwich places in each state. The service is amazing and friendly, and the sandwiches are perfect. The garlic aioli bread a wonderful touch to any sandwich. My favorites are the Pastrami (best pastrami sandwich) and the Korean BBQ. I don't want make this too long, I could probably write pages about this place. It's just the best sandwiches you can get. This has got to be the best kept secret of the Inland Empire! The Korean BBQ sandwich with muenster cheese is a bonafide hit!! I could not put this sandwich down even though I was getting quite full. It's a big sandwich. I've been to this place several times now and depending on my mood I either get the Korean BBQ sandwich or the Grilled Chicken salad. I ventured off the beaten path once and ordered the Mother Clucker and I must say I was disappointed. It was okay but I think I have been spoiled by the awesomeness of the Korean BBQ. Dropped by here looking for a sandwich place to eat at. And wow, this has definitely become one of my favorite places to eat at. There's a large variety of hot and cold sandwiches to choose from, some of which are improved versions of typical deli sandwiches and some unique ones. For example, there's the BLAT (a variation of the BLT with avocado), the Cheesesteak (sliced rib-eye steak with cheese, onions, mushrooms, etc, one of my favorites and is absolutely delicious), the Moo Moo and Don Won, which are variations of pastrami sandwiches, also both of which are excellent. Some of their unique sandwiches are the Seoul Fire (roast beef, asian slaw, pepper jack cheese with spicy Korean BBQ sauce) as well as the Korean BBQ sandwich, which is probably one of my favorites on top with the Cheesesteak. The Korean BBQ sandwich is heaped with moist and tasty Korean BBQ. They don't mess around giving you cheap, dry meat, or small portions. You get a ton of meat in each sandwich and it's all tasty. With any of these sandwiches, you can swap types of bread (white, wheat, rye, etc), the vegetables inside, the sauces used (garlic aioli, mayo, dijon, etc), and cheeses (American, cheddar, Swiss, etc). Sides include french fries (of course), chili fries, onion rings (which taste fresh), salads, soups, and chili. The atmosphere is great and the owners are nice and considerate. In the past I haven't really been a deli/sandwich person aside from a few Subway sandwiches, but Corner Deli has by far changed my mind. Definitely a fan of this place! If you're in need of sustenance from all that outlet mall shopping, or coming in from work, you gotta try Corner Deli. It's easy to find, parking is a breeze, and there is plenty of seating inside the store and out in the patio. I wouldn't say it's the best sandwich place I've been to, but it's definitely up there! I came here on a Tuesday afternoon to meet up with an old friend for lunch, and the both of us really enjoyed the Korean BBQ sandwich. They have a special everyday (Tuesday being KBBQ), but you can still order whatever sandwich you want. The special consists of the sammie, a bag of chips, and a small drink all for about $7-$8. Not bad, and so worth it! Customer service is great, but the food is even better. I mean, I could have done without all that cabbage in my sandwich, and I totally understand that they want to make it as authentic as possible, but it just didn't settle well with my tastebuds. But that's just me. However, the meat was well marinated and incredibly soft! It was quite impressive. The uncut side of my bread was soaked in the marinade, but I'm not complaining. Amazing Korean bbq sandwich! I have come here two times but tried 4 sandwiches! lol When they make there sandwiches they are made fresh with no pre-cooked meat like subway or any other fast food chain. I first got the Korean BBQ sandwich. When I saw it I couldn't wait to take a Huge bite. The cheese was melting perfectly over the meat. I asked for a side of hot sauce and garlic aioli sauce to smear on with every bite. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The second time I came I got the Seoul Fire. I remember going to the Corner Deli around the first week it had opened and even till this day, it seems to stick to it's primary roots. The Corner Deli is a small mom and pop that packs a big name taste. While I have yet to try out and expand on it's fairly large sandwich selection, it's hard to steer away from something that taste so damn good... The Service: Service is friendly right from the get go. It's minimal to say the least but most non-diner places like this tend to have that kind of service (and there is nothing wrong with that). Because of the lack of interaction (besides ordering and having your food taken to your table (if you dine in)) there isn't really all that much to say about this. The Environment: When you walk into the small deli, you'll notice one thing: It's small. This place is really picking up in terms of popularity and because of this, you'll notice that it can't support a large capacity during the lunch rush hours. Maybe during it's reign it can buy out the place next door and sell Cold Stone while you eat your sandwich... Or even better, insurance (depending on what direction they go). I think what would be a nice addition if they had the room is a stand up counter, sort of like the traditional deli's back east. This place stays pretty clean but because of the high turn around it's hard for workers to make rounds to each table (for cleaning), but that never seems to deter lunchtime patrons. The Food: When this place first opened up, like all Delis they had a sign: "World Famous Pastrami!" Or was it 'Best'? I don't remember... When I first read that the only thing I thought was: Challenge Accepted. As you can see from some of the photo's, they really know how to make a Corner style Pastrami Sandwich. But let me tell you this... I took a bite out of the sandwich and didn't feel impressed; while it tasted good it seemed to have fallen a tad short on my scale. And then it came... This sauce. Feeling frisky I dunked my sandwich and took a bite... Have you ever tasted something so good that you drooled before and after every bite? No? Well, I did. Their house dip (I can't remember the appropriate name for it) is simply out of this world. I've never went BACK to the same place the next day for lunch but I had to go back to try to recollect what had transpired the day before. Fries are good... I would write more but I was so blown away by the sandwich that I don't even remember eating them. Overall: World's Best Pastrami? I think it's a fight for second with The Hat. World's Best Pastrami Dip? By far... Quick service, fresh food. This is a superb lunch location for when you're in the area and have the craving for a delicious sandwich. Location wise MAY seem out of the way for some, but that extra little distance is totally worth it. Big packages come in small things, and the Corner Deli truly is a testament to that statement. read more

This little treasure is hidden behind the Ontario Mills mall. I came in with a few friends on a random afternoon and WOW! I was amazed how fresh and delicious the food is. I went for the Korean BBQ and chips deal. They have daily deals...sandwich, chips, and a small drink for $7.99? The Korean Bbq was sweet and tangy with Korean bbq sauce on the bulgogi meat covered with melted cheese. This sandwich was one of the best sandwich ive ever tasted. You can even add the free banana peppers or siriacha they provide in their relish bar. I fully enjoyed the sandwich to the last bite. Also i had a chance to try their french fries with garlic aioli dipping sauce...I believe that's the name. The sauce was amazing. I ended up putting a little on my sandwich. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable...$9-$11 with a drink and a side. Most definitely coming back for more. read more

A breath of fresh air and a welcome change from chain sandwich places. The Korean BBQ sandwich with provolone cheese is an excellent Asian variation of the Philly cheesesteak. The chicken club on squaw bread is also one of the best I've had in a long time. The owner (father) of the ace has been making deli sandwiches for 35 years and it's proven in the well-balanced flavors of his sandwiches. Since my previous review I've tried the Siam Sam and the cheesesteak sandwiches. The latter is a nice but unexciting choice. I though the toppings were good quality and reasonable in quantity. A bit bland, I had to add a bit of salt. The Siam Sam was all I would hoped it would be. It's very much like chicken satay, in a sandwich form. Love chunks of chicken breast with a tasty and slighty spicy peanut sauce, complimented with some greens (?spinach) I'll upload a pic but it's just a delicious choice if you're not peanut/spicy adversive. read more

buddy from work came back from here at lunch time and told me it just opened up. I was on my way to meet my wife somewhere else and she accidentally passed up the other place so i told her to meet me here. I have been begging for something like this to open up around here. Something that isn't a franchise (i don't think its a franchise) and a place that has something different on there menu and they have it ! The "Don Won" sandwich. pastrami, sliced tomatoes, chopped chili pepper , coleslaw and french fries all on one sandwich!!! I loved it, great flavors all the way thru it. Yum. Yumnomnom. So, this place is pretty freakin' delicious, and it gets 4 stars because of the food, the portions and the price rolled up together. My friend took me here and we decided on a KBBQ sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. I'm a lover of bulgogi and buffalo chicken so this was a great combo. We each traded half an sandwich so we could try them both. yum yum yum! To be honest- I liked the buffalo chicken better than the kbbq, but then again, I'm a sucker for that buffalo sauce...i know, i know, it's probably just franks red hot sauce but still... I could drink that ish. Anyways, everybody argues that the meat lacked real bulgogi flavor, but I kinda get it. Do you REALLY want the full green-onion/onion/garlic/sweet/soysauce/brownsugar flavor in there with the cheese and coleslaw? It'll be kinda weird and too much for non-koreans or asians to understand. Best sandwich place I have ever tried in my life! For the longest time, most people, including myself, have been trained to eat subway and quiznos, but this place will open your eyes...They have daily specials which are around 7 bucks, I have been there around 5-6 times and each time it has been very good... My two favorite ones would have to me the Don Won and the Korean BBQ with the cole slaw on it! Both are perfect matches of taste and texture, with the Korean bbq, thinly sliced marinated steak, crisp cole slaw and cheese, perfect! I wasnt a huge fan of one of their cold sandwiches, I forgot the name, it had roast beef with spicy peanut sauce, it was just "ok" but i did enjoy the 4 other sandwiches i tried, the other one was the italian and the meet meat. this place is great, it has something for everyone, it is fairly priced and definitely something different from the norm. HIDDEN GEM ALERT! I frequent many places near this shop and never noticed it. If you're at Ontario Mills or near the area it is a great option for lunch. I had the Korean BBQ sandwich. It was amazing. Imagine the most deliciously, perfectly cooked and seasoned Korean BBQ you've had in a soft roll topped with grilled onions and pepper jack cheese and you have this sandwich or heaven, as some people call it. I may upset a few Yelpers on this review. It is my opinion that this place sales the best sandwiches in the area. The only sandwich that is in the same vicinity as Corner Deli would be the Earl of Sandwiches. I believe that those who have not had the opportunity to taste a great sandwich should visit this deli. The sandwich excels in every area, the bread is soft a fluffy, the meat is moist and flavorful, and the topping compliment the sandwich to perfection. My mouth is watering as I am writing this review. The only down side to this place is the parking is not adequate and the business has not grown with its customers. I have no choice.... I have to give this place 5 stars. This small sandwich shop on the outskirts of the Ontario Mills Mall property has knocked my socks off! They have a large variety of specialty sandwiches that are unique and delicious. I have visited this establishment on three different occasions, each time trying a different sandwich... I have enjoyed the Korean Rib, the Don Juan, and today, the Italian. Honestly Yelpers, I am a hard man to please. I have nothing to say except that every sandwich I've tried so far was amazing. That's hard to do. I have had sandwiches from everywhere... And I mean everywhere. The Corner Deli dishes out Large sandwiches, fresh ingredients and excellent service. Their cole slaw rocks as well. My first time here so I've only had one of their sandwiches; The Korean BBQ Beef. It was very good. The bread was soft and held up great with all of the meat juices that were melting off, which combined perfectly with the melted cheese and cole slaw. It is served with a small cup of a Asian peanut sauce that you can pour on to your sandwich, which I did and was great. I don't know if my spicy tolerance is getting higher but I didn't feel it being spicy. The menu says it is but not for me. But they have a spicy bar that offers pickled jalapeños, pickled yellow peppers, and Characha sauce. I will be back to try more of their sandwiches and the sweet potato fries. Plus the Asian woman (I think she was the owner) was super nice. read more
