Came here for a Sunday brunch with a party of 2 at around 11am. This is a great time to come, as there was practically no line at all. I arrived first before my friend did and I was allowed to hang out and wait for my friend at an empty table. This is a order-at-the-counter spot, so be aware that if you want to eat your main meal and a dessert, you may end up getting your dessert first before the meal. I wanted to give a shout-out to the woman behind the counter that greeted me so warmly, and even remembered my name throughout the meal and allowed a hot water refill for my chamomile tea. AMAZING - this place is truly a gem! There is actually a Sushi restaurant next door and they share a patio, so you can easily order from either, which was ideal for our picky group. Went to this place to try the soft tofu stew with ramen and vegetables and added seafood to it. Cost was about $25 for the stew. I was disappointed because when I tasted it, I realized it tasted like instant ramen that you get at the Asian supermarket. The pastries were fine, as was the croffle, but grilled salmon over salad was not fresh. I smelled the stank of the fish before they placed the plate down on the table. I understand it is harder to run a restaurant business these days with rising costs but food safety is paramount. The restaurant itself looked clean, though. Service left a bit to be desired. They weren't understaffed, exactly, because there weren't too many people there when we went for Sunday lunch. The staff kept busy though and didn't really have time to get us water, provide utensils, or check in on us after we placed our orders. There was a long strand of hair that was buried in the dish. We quickly notified one of the workers, and the food was returned to the kitchen. When the new Calamari dish came, it was no better. The Calamari seemed rushed that the squid looked and tasted uncooked. To top it off, there were only about 6 small pieces of actual squid, the rest were chunks of onions or some vegetable. The rest were crumbs of the fried flour. Mind you this was a $12 dish.... The Loco Moco, was okay for the most part. The beef patty wasn't evenly cooked, the outside was hard and overcooked while the middle was undercooked. Regardless, it tasted fine. I came for brunch with my daughter, I had a breakfast plate and my daughter had bagels. My breakfast was very good but my daughter didn't like her bagel, it looked good but she said it tasted off somehow. I think this was just because she had just woken up and she doesn't like food early in the morning. She wants to come back and try the chicken waffle though so that's positive. Their menu is a bit eclectic - it has American brunch/breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, pastries, and also has some Korean dishes too! We actually tried this place two days in a row. I thought overall it was decent, a little pricey but not bad in terms of quality of food and taste! The flatbreads were good. We got salmon and caprese. I thought the caprese was not bad but did have an incredible amount of pesto so next time I'll try something else. I also tried the croissant waffle and thought it was okay. It's a bit hard to eat though because it's a lot tougher than a regular waffle but the flavor was decent. I'm in the middle on whether I would get again but it was not too expensive for one. The iced coffee (well actually iced americano since they ran out) was tasty and clean. I also tried the bubble tea and we liked it! My husband thought it tasted like condensed milk which he liked, and I was also a fan. The boba they used was the misshapen clear ones (a bit lumpy) but okay tasting otherwise. Corner table is a great place to have brunch, with a Korean twist. We came on a Saturday and there was plenty of space indoors and out. The owner/chef was also very kind and bright, which was contagious. I feel like that contributed positively to our overall experience. I had the einspnner (eye-n-spinner) and while the thick cream was delicious, it curdled due to its richness. If I had to choose again I would get the honeycomb toffee latte. The orange grapefruit black tea surprised me the most. It was incredibly refreshing and it was a great pallet cleanser. The tater tots and brussel sprouts had an addicting crunch and the sunflower seeds were a nice touch, too. These are both great items to share so no need to think twice on these. The bulgogi bibimbap was lighter than what I'm used to. The portions were generous and I loved the pickled onions and radishes. The bulgogi could have been marinated more and I could have done the kimchi fried rice without the noodles mixed in. But overall, it was fresh and delicious. The only disappointing aspect was the sauce. Seemed overly saturated with vinegar (or Tabasco sauce?), which left an unappetizing aftertaste. So glad that this new neighborhood gem finally opened! The location is very convenient, with good parking and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I like the remodel they've done on the inside and the nice new outdoor tables they've put in. We came for breakfast around 9am on a Sunday and it was already bustling with people! When we were there it was a hash and a hot chicken sandwich. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a strawberry croffle, a latte, a black coffee, and a cheese Danish. This mom and pop restaurant is located in Woodside plaza next to Sushi Plus. There's plenty of parking and they also have outdoor dining. They do have an extensive menu. They serve Korean & Italian food with an Asian twist. The menu is posted at the door. They also have menus at the cash register. When you're ready to order, walk up to the cashier to order and pay. Then, she will give you a number to display on your table. When we tried to place an order for our food, the cashier had a hard time understanding us because she barely spoke English. We asked if the chicken sandwich only comes with regular fries or we can have sweet potato fries, onion rings, or garlic fries with no additional charge. She couldn't understand us, and she didn't know the menu well. She had to get the owner to help us. The owner was nice and friendly. We ordered the honeycomb toffee latte, Jeju green tangerine chamomile tea, crispy chicken sandwich with garlic fries for $1.00 extra, cioppino, and Korean Fried Chicken (original). For dessert, we ordered the creme brulee. We also wanted to order the tiramisu, but they were sold out the day before and they didn't get around to make a new batch. We ordered our food right before the lunch rush. Our order # was 10, which we placed on the table. While we were still waiting for our food, the owner told the waiter to collect our # placard, because they were running out of # placards. The Jeju green tangerine chamomile tea had a nice aroma to it. It tasted as they put a splash of Korean citron syrup to the tea, which made it tasty. The crispy chicken sandwich and chicken wings were fried to perfection. They were juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. The garlic fries were just ok. We like them more garlicky. The cioppino was flavorful. The creme brulee was just ok. We can tell that it was pretorched. This restaurant opened not too long ago and definitely need to work out some kinks. They need to hire more cooks. We waited 45 minutes for our food which is a long time and that's before the lunch rush. For people that work in the neighborhood and if they have a hour lunch break, they will spend their whole break waiting for their food.
