I have been to this restaurant twice now. Each time we have been more than pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Our server, I believe Cody, was more than attentive, friendly, helpful and very good. The food both times was delicious. The portions were generous and priced well, for what you are served We sat on the patio and enjoyed the lighting, as well as crisp air. I've lived in Glendora for the last 19 years or so and while I'm not sure how long Cosmo's has been around, I know it's been around for awhile. It always looked beautiful from outside with the foliage and the lights on the patio but I never had the fortune to go until recently. My friend and I were craving a nice Italian meal and this place popped up and I was quick to suggest it since I've never been. My friend and I arrived around 6, a little before their dinner rush and we were happily greeted by more than one staff member. We had our choice of seating on the patio. I was pleasantly surprised to see the nice linen on the tables, the glassware for water, and the lovely oil/balsamic bottles on each table. One of the waiters bought out bread and water immediately and the service was just impeccable, they never missed a beat! My friend ordered the linguine pesto and I ordered a prosciutto and fig pizza and we decided to share our meals. We both agreed that as people who had never had anything other than a normal cheese pizza, the prosciutto pizza was impeccable. It was sweet, crispy, and meaty! The linguine pesto was remarkable, it wasn't TOO pesto-y and had a nice touch of cream making the pasta too die for! We both weren't starving so we didn't finish our food and took it home, but we were out by 7ish which was perfect for the rest of our evening plans. Service was mid and that's the best thing I could say about this place. The steak from the steak salad tasted like it was day old steak warmed up. None of the food that came out was hot.... The fig and prosciutto pizza was so overwhelmingly sweet it was awful. We also had the Arancini which was okay although again it was neither hot or fresh tasting. The olive oil on the table did not taste high quality and it tasted like some sort of canola oil. I would not recommend this place and I will not be coming back. read more

Our go-to date night place! Their specials are always amazing- we love trying what the chef whips up. Their seafood pasta with cream sauce is amazing! As are their pizzas, salads, and oh yeah- everything. The food is always made from scratch and so fresh. We have never ordered anything we didn't love! Service is amazing too. read more

We found this restaurant to try on Google maps. It was 12 noon on a Sunday. The restaurant has an outside patio and indoor dining. We ate indoors. Atmosphere is great and the temperature was perfect. Light jazz music in the background. Service was great, food fabulous! Great tasting staples like spaghetti with meatballs, 3 beef and pork, tender and tasty. Hubby had chicken parmesan with fettuccine and red sauce. Really tasty. All of the pizzas looked good and we will definitely be going back to try all of the things! So after trying this place as a to go option on a late night. We decided to actually dine in. And right before the kitchen closed for the night. After my wife called in and asked if we could still be served and to our surprise they said come on in. Once we got there there was another table of 2 finishing up there meal. "HUEGO" our sever, I'll say again "HUEGO" was the reason I'm writing this review. By far the most charismatic and humble server I've ever met. He has a modest personality and it was welcoming, he took the time to explain everything on the menu and even when my head was buried in my phone he kept on making suggestions. We asked what kind of wine they had, and he did not hesitate to bring out a few samples till I liked one particular bottle. I can go on and on about his service but I'll get to the food. The stuffed mushrooms was a one of my favorite appetizers we ordered, and I had the salmon ... the salmon was pan seared and full of flavor. I had dinner with two female friends on July 29, 2020. We have all been to Cosmos previously and enjoyed the food. On this occasion, we had dinner while watching the game when the owner of the restaurant, Cosmo, walked out to the patio area completely intoxicated. At one point, he fell out of a chair hitting his head on the ground. After several minutes of him stumbling around,, the chef came out to try and get Cosmo home but, after several minutes, he re-emerged with another glass of wine in hand. After finishing our drinks and dinner we proceeded to leave when he decided to hug my two female companions. As we walked out, Cosmo followed my friends and attempted to grope them both! It was made clear that his actions were unwelcome and unacceptable. The staff and chef both apologized for his actions, but they each said this was a regular occurrence. I hesitated in posting a review because of how it could affect the employees there. However, I would not want others to endure what we endured. A horrible experience We will never return. read more

Went there for late breakfast on Sunday morning. Server said they no longer serve breakfast and gave us lunch menu. We got the small plates of lettuce cups and shrimp stuffed mushrooms. The lettuce cups was really tasty, leaning toward the sweet side. The shrimp stuffed mushrooms is my favorite. I love the juicy mushroom stuffed with dice shrimp and the cheesy sauce they pour it all over the plate. The sauce was so good I used the bread to mop it all up. The plate was wipe clean. After that we had the prosciutto and fig pizza. Another mouth watering dish. It look delicious and it taste super delicious. Never had fig in my pizza before. What a great idea! Such a great first impression makes me wonder how well they do for dinner. So, same day I return to the restaurant and yet another great experience. For $19.95 a person. We got bread (the most soft and crispy I've ever tasted), salad, and the main dish, paella. Huge size pan (see photo) filled with bunch of seafood, chicken and sausage. We ended the night with chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream on top. We left the restaurant so so full and satisfy. I would like to thank you our server Hugo (sorry, if I miss spell your name) for making us feel really special and giving us a great experience. Went in for dinner on a Friday night after finding this place on yelp. Food looked good based on the posted pictures. So we decided to give it a try, supporting local businesses. We got a good vibe initially only a few patrons not very busy. A waiter half heartedly took our order and drinks shortly after we were seated. The waiter for the table next to us offered the table off menu special items, some seemed better than what I chose. It all fell apart after that. We didnt get our food for an hour. Waiter kept coming by saying, "your food is up next". The table next to us was done eating and being offered desert before we even got our food. No refill on our drinks. The meat and cheese appetizer was brought with our food. Food wasnt that great under cooked and over salted. 90.00 for two adults and two kids. High quality, delicious food: the chicken club sandwich was super tasty with garlic aioli, avocado, grilled chicken, and thick slices of bacon. The bread was excellent. I'd love to know where the buy it. It was a ciabatta that was light and crispy yet substantial. And--oh my!--the garlic fries with truffle oil are hand cut and simply the best fries I've ever had. And I love garlic fries, so that's saying a lot. :-) The wait staff was very friendly and helpful also, which made for a five-star experience. My mom, sister, and cousin come here regularly and the server recognized my mom and even remembered what she ordered last time. That put a smile on mom's face. First time here. It's dinner time. Looks very nice...its new. Outside is pleasant as well. Some of the pictures on Yelp is what brought me here. The free bread looks great. The herb bread looked so good but lacked on the flavor big time. The regular bread is good. The water is cucumber water. It's an acquired taste. We weren't really given a choice as to if we wanted it or not. The waiter was nice, seemed informed but didn't feel like he was enjoying his job. Not getting a cheery friendly outgoing vibe from any of the wait staff that's been to our take do far. Took a bit of time to refill our bread. They said their ovens were filled with pizzas so it would be a bit longer. We order the baked brie. Presents well. It's pretty tasty. The apple chutney was ok. I was very disappointed at the size. For almost $15 it's VERY not worth it. We also ordered the Caprese Pizza & 4 Cheese. The crust is light, and it cooked well but doesn't hold flat...limped over. Both pizzas tasted good. Same pizza down the street less than 1/2 price Tuesday Happy Hour. They sell soda by the can @ $2.50. Yikes. It's pretty good. We sat on the patio. They they credit and there is plenty of parking spaces. Limited indoor seating. We had a large party and they didn't offer bread. We came for lunch. They are inflexible about the menu ( I asked if we could order off the dinner menu on the back). Soda drinks are by the can. Lemonade and iced tea were great and had refills. The family all basically got either lasagna or the Alfredo ( healthy portions). Pesto penne was good, the Cobb salad was good, steak salad was great, pulled pork sandwich was great. Arancini was good but the cheese inside was not melted so perhaps needed more heating. But the tasted very good. I would order it again. Linguini also was pretty good.
