This place is just amazing from arriving to leaving. Great friendly service and amazing food! So fresh and tasty, started with the antipasto and ending with their special "seafood Alfredo" and let me tell you, there was no baby scallops in this pasta. Fat and juicy plump scallops and shrimp. A friend recommended this hidden gem of a place and I loved it!! Small, cozy, and the food was great! The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. So good! My fettuccine Alfredo was terrific and my husband loved his pesto pasta. Everything that came out of the kitchen look tasty, we can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Pasta lacked flavor completely and was over cooked, steak served bloody - raw and barely warm - to after stating it was not as we asked, we were later being served well done - we asked for medium. My husband and I were tired otherwise we would have said something more to Hugo- but we was trying so hard - we found it hard to say anything more to him. This is a FAST-FOOD Italian place that is WAY OVER PRICED. I heard the salad was good so maybe we should have ordered that. My stomach was hurting once we left this place. First time here and everything was fabulous!! The breads and olive oil are fantastic! The stuffed mushrooms are to die for! Have to try it for sure! The aracini, I think that's what it was called, fried rice balls with cheese and sausage were ok but the marinara sauce was excellent!! They had clam chowder soup and it was so so good!! Entrees were the salmon pasta and short rib ravioli also large portions and flavor. The complimentary bread was fresh and tasty. Cosmos has a nice covered patio with comfortable seating and bistro-type lighting for a charming dining experience. The staff was friendly and followed CV-19 protocols. Delicious fresh baked bread was provided soon after being seated. We decided to keep it simple and ordered a pepperoni pizza, lasagna, and Cesar salad. Love the ambience, and cozy romantic setting. The Seafood Cioppino was on special, and it was delicious. The amount of fish, clams, and calamari was very generous, the saltiness was perfect, the broth was full of seafood flavor and thick and perfectly blended in the tomato sauce, and the linguini pasta absorb the sauce well. It was such a wonderful meal. The grilled bread was has a soft crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside. Love it! I was in heaven. It was perfect with my Zinfandel. I'm sorry for coming in at 7:30 PM. I really had no idea that it opened until 8:00 PM on a Friday. All of the staff were very friendly, patient, and nice. They did not rush us or even mention their closing time. It was not until 8:30 PM that I asked, and I apologized for keeping them wait for us. And then when you finally do get through, go ahead and wait on the phone so you can listen to the restaurant guests because the person who answered the phone set the phone down. I show him the phone running into 15 minutes of still listening to the restaurant guests eating. He simply says "it must have been the Mexican". All he can say is "we're very busy".
