omg for a non michelin star restaurant, this place SLAPS. the meat is amazing, the service is amazing, the drinks are amazing. that might have been my best korean bbq experience ever. maybe take off one percent since i asked for more of the soup in the beginning and the waiter forgot. i think it was some beef broth. simple but damn so good. you order the foods and they cook for you. they bring out as much banchan as you want and because they walk around so often, it never runs out. i was truly living the life. its a bit pricey but so worth it. i was lucky enough to get a reservation last minute and i was so glad i did. even the bathrooms were super clean and nice. its huge inside with 2 stories. now i want to try the other locations and experience more greatness. read more

Coming from LA and having spent way too many late nights in Koreatown, I was pretty skeptical about Korean BBQ inside the Venetian... But man oh man, what a pleasant surprise! Best meal of our lives. Not a sentence I write lightly. We got the Butcher's Feast + A5 supplement and the steak tartare for two. The COTE Steak - their "secret cut" American Wagyu - was the best thing I've ever had, and I'll admit I preferred it to the A5, which was rich to the point of almost being too much by the middle of the meal. I wanted something like a Pinot but a little more interesting - the sommelier nailed it with a 2021 Alex Foillard Côte de Brouilly. We started with the Showgirls and COTE Fashioned which were very good and highly recommended. So good, I had to post a review! Cote Las Vegas delivered one of the most incredible dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service was truly top notch. Every single person we encountered (and I mean everyone) was attentive, and genuinely nice.. they really did an amazing job at hiring great people here. The atmosphere was also a vibe to that added to our overall wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was perfectly executed, flavorful, and memorable. We got allll the meats and let me tell you.. 10/10 would recommend. What really set the experience apart, though, was the outstanding team. Our hostess Erika made us feel welcome right away, our server Joey was knowledgeable, attentive, and a joy throughout the meal, we had another server Kimberly who was also great and the manager Jae went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. Even the sommelier added to the experience by bringing us a little tasting. This night in particular, I was with my friend who was celebrating life and the loss of her husband a few months ago. After rave reviews about the galbi I was disappointed. The char overwhelmed the flavor and it wasn't really tender. Excellent Beef broth and kimchi pork belly stew are both perfection. The flatiron steak is god tier and probably the best steak I've had at a restaurant for the price. The first cut of the butchers feast was tender and great. Ice cream was a solid ender. Service Great job, Korey and others. This is why this place receives such praise. I was really looking forward to trying COTE Korean Steakhouse after hearing so much about the New York location, so I was excited they finally opened on the West Coast. We came as a group of 7 on a Wednesday night around 10 PM, and while the restaurant was busy, the service unfortunately felt very inattentive throughout the night. Our meat platter took a long time to come out, and after waiting another 10-15 minutes thinking the grill was heating up, we realized no one had even turned it on. Later, our marinated galbi ended up completely burnt on one side because no one was watching the grill closely, though they did replace it for us. Visited the new Cote in Las Vegas on Friday night and had the most amazing time. To start off, the restaurant had such a cool vibe. There was DJ up top of the wall and there were subtle levels around the bar. Great feng shui. Also, our server Michael was the best ever!!!!! The food was incredible. We all did the $88 per person experience which came with a variety of meats and side dishes. All the meats were so tender, perfectly cooked medium rare and had so much flavor. My favorite however was the short rib. So tender and marinated so nicely. The sides were all excellent. All the pickled vegetables were so refreshing. The kimchi stew was amazing and the scallion salad was the best I've ever had. We also ordered the Gimbap appetizer and was sent a paella dish. After our first experience, the restaurant invited us back to try again! This time we had Brian as our server, and we were pleasantly surprised by how funny and attentive he was. The meats were all cooked perfectly, and he was a joy to talk to during our dinner. The next time we come back, we'll make sure to ask for him personally. I've heard amazing things about COTE in New York and considering they're the only Michelin Star KBBQ my expectations were very high. We had a reservation and were seated very promptly when we arrived. The restaurant has a very nice and sleek, modern interior and the music level is just right-- some places in Vegas play the music way too loud. Our biggest complaint about this place was definitely the service. We had a very nice server pour us our water and then all of a sudden it was like they forgot about us and after 10 minutes I finally decided to ask for the menu. We went with the butchers feast which ran for $88.88 a person which I believe is only $10 more than New York's prices. The set came with four meats : hanger steak, 45 day dry aged ribeye, flat iron, and marinated short rib accompanied by their ssamjang. It also includes a variety of banchan, a kimchi pork stew, a soybean stew, and a steamed egg which are all free refills. The servers explain everything as it comes out to you but it didn't seem like everyone had their lines memorized. They sometimes accidentally get a palm or a finger into your food as well sometimes as they place it onto the table and our cook even somehow got the dirty tongs into one of our cups and didn't notice. The only one who seemed to know what they were doing was our drinks server. She constantly refilled our water and asked if we needed anything else. We were not a fan of how things were brought out periodically with each meat was cooked especially the banchans, I would prefer to have my rice and everything spread out to mix and match with the meats. The only banchan that stood out was their green onion salad which was amazing-- we were very excited to try the okra kimchi but it seems that their Vegas location had stopped serving it for the time being. The hanger steak was a great starter meat which had a strong beefy flavor and paired very well with the lettuce and perilla wrap. The dry aged ribeye lacked heavily in flavor and marbling and almost seemed like a select cut. The flat iron was nothing special and was like a flatter tasting hanger steak. The marinated short rib at the end was amazing and had the perfect amount of sweetness and was super tender. The best part of the meal was by far the soft serve with caramel soy sauce at the very end. This is our second time coming to Cote. We were debating if we wanted to try new items as far as appetizers but the Korean bacon was just too good last time to pass up. This time we felt it was a little over cooked but nonetheless, tasted good. We went for the butcher's feast which had more than enough for the two of us. All the banchans were so good, our meats were cooked to med rare which was perfect. They season each meat one by one. I do wish they gave us a little bit more time with each serving of meat before putting the next serve on the grill. I would have never imagined that I would give a Korean barbecue restaurant five stars, nor would I have ever thought of coming back to Las Vegas just for a dining experience, but COTE Vegas has changed my mind on both fronts. We visited during race week for the Las Vegas Grand Prix and opted for the Race Week Feast, which contained five selected cuts of American Prime, American Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu. The dining experience (it is so much more than just a meal) started off with a delicious beef broth to get the digestive system kicked off. That was followed by the "Steak and Eggs" which cleverly is a filet tartare topped with caviar and served with a delightful milk toast. Our server, Mikel, guided us through each course. After allowing the cooktop to get to temperature, Mikel took a fat cap and prepped the grill, seasoned the hangar steak, and cooked it tableside, turning each cube of steak until it was our desired temperature (medium rare). He then suggested that we place a piece of the meat into a piece of baby red lettuce, add a little scallion salad, and then enjoy it as a small wrap. After the first bite, Mikel had earned my full trust to be my culinary guide for the evening. Another server then brought out another selection of sides, including an egg souffle and napa cabbage kimchi. As Mikel was preparing the 45-day dry aged ribeye, he described the fermenting process of their house-made kimchi and how to take a slice of it and eat it with the souffle. The ribeye was flavorful, with a subtle nuttiness from the dry aging. The star of the show was the Japanese A5 Wagyu with marbling so intense that by the time it was ready to hit the grill, it had already started to melt. Buttery and rich, firm and juicy. Seasoned with nothing more than a blend of three salts so that the beef itself could shine, and shine it did. The American wagyu flatiron followed with the combination of the beefiness of a ribeye and the tenderness of a filet. The last steak was the COTE galbi, a marinated short rib, that caramelized when grilled and offered a nice sweetness to finish off the round of beef. Dessert was soft serve vanilla ice cream with a soy sauce infused caramel topping that was a wonderful compliment to the preceding courses. This was an experience even more than a meal. We came to Cote on the recommendation of a steak-loving friend for our anniversary. The restaurant is behind the Palazzo escalators -- if you're coming by car, it's quicker and easier to come in from the Palazzo side. The interior is dark, modern, and loud -- noisy enough that we could hear each other when we spoke loudly but still no one at the neighboring tables could hear us. We were greeted with a glass of champagne from the restaurant in honor of our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. We were given drink menus immediately but the dinner menu arrived in the hands of our main server, one of three servers who handled our table professionally. We were never actually given a menu to read, which was interesting, but he pointed out items he thought we would like. Unexpected but okay. As it was our first visit, we chose the Butcher's Feast, which offered us small samplings of four meats: strip steak, ribeye, wagyu, and marinated short rib, all of which were seasoned with salt by one of the servers and grilled at the table. First up was a cup of black truffle bone broth which was a savory, warm start to the meal. The banchan were plentiful and all delicious: scallion salad, cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, egg soufflé, kimchi stew, doenjang stew, steamed okra, perilla leaf, marinated radish, grilled mushroom cap, red leaf lettuce leaves, ssam-jang. It was all spiced moderately (or lightly) for my American palate and that was just fine with me. I truly enjoyed the flavors without getting my mouth seared! We were encouraged to create lettuce wraps with the meat and sides, but we preferred to eat the meat on its own to truly enjoy the flavor and create wraps from the banchan. We passed on the cocktails and ordered a 2023 Turley Zinfandel from the iPad wine list -- the list reflects an amazing wine cellar packed with bottles from around the world. Are there values to be found in this wine list? Oh, no. But there are bottles available in the collection that are exceedingly rare, carrying price tags to match. Back to the meal -- we were concerned with the small amounts of meat that we would leave hungry, but there were so many sides brought out that we were full and happy. And, to top it all off: a final course of vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel at the end of the meal. All in all, it was a lovely dinner and I hope to return. Last night was my first time dining at COTE Las Vegas, located inside the Venetian on Restaurant Row, and it was an experience worth remembering. I had an 8:00 PM reservation, but we didn't get seated until about 8:35 PM. The wait was a bit frustrating, especially with a reservation, though we were able to grab drinks at the bar while waiting. The bar service helped make up for it -- I ordered two of their nonalcoholic cocktails, the Aplós Ume Spritz (Ume plum, lion's mane, hemp, grapefruit) and the Ghia Ginger Spritz (gentian root, rhubarb root, yuzu, white grapefruit). Both were amazing -- refreshing, layered, and not overly sweet. Once seated, we ordered The Butcher's Feast, which features a selection of USDA Prime and American Wagyu cuts with all the Korean accompaniments. Every cut of meat was outstanding -- tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked on the in-table grill. The sides really elevated the experience: the egg soufflé was light and savory, the kimchi and doenjang stews were rich and comforting, and the soy sauce caramel soft serve at the end was the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The service was very good overall -- friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive -- though at times it took a little longer than expected between courses. This place is a vibe. We came on a Friday night before the Backstreet Boys concert at the sphere and it was crazy packed. I've been to the Cote New York location a couple of times so I definitely was excited to see if the Vegas location delivered the same quality of food and service. Luckily it did! We opt in to order the butchers feast which was a steep price of $88 per person but given the location I guess it made sense. I thoroughly enjoyed each cut of meat but my favorite by far was the American Waygu. It was so tender so juicy and extremely delicious. Don't be afraid to ask for as much banchan since it's included. The service we received that even was top notch. I'd say at least 10-12 different servers/staff cooked our meats and was constantly checking on us. They really go out of their way to make sure the meat is cooked just how you like it so someone is always keeping an eye on the grill. I got the privilege to enjoy this amazing restaurant this evening!! I am almost lost for words as it was an experience I want all of my friends and family to have. Let's start with the staff at the entrance. The hosts were friendly, smiled and gave an overall welcoming demeanor like they were excited we were coming. When we entered, the atmosphere was super warm and the staff were tending to their tables with smiles and happiness. We were delighted to be served by Jovani and the restaurant manager Jae Won. Words can't express the professionalism, knowledge, and service they provided. It was top tier and they made us want to come back over and over again. The food was cooked to perfection and Jae Won spent time at the table instructing us on how to eat it the correct way and it definitely did not disappoint. All of the flavors paired so well together and the meat was so tasty. My favorites were the Korean Bacon appetizer and the Japanese A5 Wagyu. My oh my. There is a reason this is the only Michelin star rated Korean Bbq restaurant. I had come into COTE obviously with very high expectations as it is Michelin star rated and they did not disappoint in the slightest. We had arrived a little late as we had a little bit of troubled right to find the entrance from the monorail. It is located underneath the escalators on the Palazzo side. They were gracious enough to still seat us despite the fact, and I am very grateful as the experienced that followed was amazing. We were sat down and our server, Michael, was great. Explained the menu to us and the key differences. And we ended up going with the Tour - all of their prime cuts in one. We ordered drinks and were immediately surprised by the perfect ingrained "COTE" text inside of the perfectly smooth ice ball. Details matter here, and it showed throughout our entire experience. They started us off with a bone broth to prepare your stomach for the course. I now would like to start every dinner with that exact bone broth. So insanely rich and full of flavor. Next was their eggs and toast which comes with a tartare. I'm not the biggest fan of tartare but I am a fan of COTE's. The bread toasted perfectly pared with the caviar and the smooth texture of the tartare. The sides were some of the best I've had in a very long time. The pickled fennel was a surprising favorite amongst the table, but for good reason. The crisp texture with the acidity of from being pickled contrasting against the meat was an exquisite pairing. The scallion salad was highly addicting, the pile was huge, and before we knew it, it had vanished. The meats were amazing, all insanely tender. But as mentioned before derails matter. And the way they gently flip the meat, moving in a way that shows respect for the cut, and not only by Michael, but every server that passed by and noticed it was ready to flip. It represented the class they are in. Back to the meats, they were obviously all inanely tender, I had made a joke about the Kalbi because usually it can only be so good. But I kid you not I ate my words as it was literally spoon tender and I had no issues cutting through it as if I had just sharped my knife in the kitchen and was making my first cut. The star of the show was obviously the A5 Wagyu. The did a grill change for just those two pieces, and let me make it clear, the grill was not in a condition that warranted it to be changed - but for this cut it NEEDED to be changed. Once again, respect for the cut of meat. I got 3 bites into the meat before it was reduced to a warm gulp of beef fat. After eating Kobe in Japan and thinking I would never find similar in the states, I have now been bested. I never thought I'd be full off 6 oz of meat but I was satisfied. However then came the vanilla with a SOY SAUCE drizzle. Baffled by the sheer umami that was present in that sauce. I am not one for salty and sweet but I would buy a 5 gallon tub and bring it home if I could. Overall COTE is deserving of its Michelin rating, from food to service to ambiance they check all boxes for my first and what I presume to be my only 5 star rating. read more

All I can say is wow to the quality of the food and the incredible service from our waitress and the other staff. For this restaurant, a reservation is needed and it's hard for them to accommodate walk-ins or those who want their reservation moved up in time. Besides the fact that even if you have a reservation and that you may still have to wait to be seated, the food was above and beyond. We chose to eat the Butcher's Feast with Japanese A5 Wagyu add-on. This I highly recommend anyone and everyone to try. There was so much food and yes, everything but the meat is refillable. You want more condiments/side dishes like the kimchi or radish? They will refill it for you! Man the Savory Egg Soufflé was tasty and both stews were really good with the white rice. With all the meat we ate from the feast, each one was on point in flavor and preparation. Side note, this may be Korean BBQ, but the waiters/waitresses will be cooking the meat and let them do it because they know how it should be prepared. But on to the Paella, omnomnom! Came here recently and this place was honestly a vibe. Drinks were on point, strong, well made, and came out pretty quick. Food was good as expected, everything we ordered came out solid. What really stood out though was the live DJ. Music was good the whole time and made the whole place feel fun without being too crazy. Honestly felt like the same kind of energy as the one in Miami. As Vegas locals we've been very blessed and able to dine at many of the restaurants on the strip. We also frequent many local restaurants, mostly Asian cuisine, 8 Ounce Kbbq on Spring Mtn being our favorite. With that being said Cote is an experience! The flavor, quality and quantity of our meal exceeded our expectations. Our party of four enjoyed the Butcher's Feast with some additional appetizers. The meats were so flavorful and tender, the refillable banchan and soup authentic and delicious. Highlight for me, probably the best egg soufflé I've ever had! Only critique, we needed more of their soy sauce caramel on our soft serve which was the dessert included at the end of our amazing meal. Although opening week, service was still exceptional from the hosts who greeted us, our main server and runners. Atmosphere a vibe, but do we expect anything less from Vegas? It was amazing! Each cut of meat was better than the one previous. Never had such great tasting meat in my life. They cook it for you in front of you and the timing on everything was perfect. This was an escalated Korean BBQ experience for me. Loved it here! We had a big party so we got the Butcher's Feast, which was perfect. Pretty much had everything we wanted to try. Got lucky enough to snag a reservation on a busy Friday night. Great experience. All the staff are friendly and attentive. Regarding food, as many have said - just get the Butcher's feast - it's a pretty good value for everything you get. The sides are tasty - both stews and the egg were yummy. Korean bacon was a big hit. Also the wagyu paella is very solid. The truffle kongguksu is an interesting flavor. It's decent but I can tell you I can't recall tasting anything like this so if you're not a person who is willing to explore stuff, may not be for you. It is a chilled soup and semi sweet. The meats were nice for the feast. They present them in a great order and the team cooking concept is interesting but they do it right as fa as doneness goes. They were all tasty. We opted to add the 1 oz A5 wagyu - is it a great value? No, but it's yummy so we got it anyways and don't regret it. Soft serve ice cream is a nice way to cap the meal off. Smooth like it should be and the caramel adds a nice burst of sweetness. The grills are nice in that there's no smoke so your clohes don't smell like KBBQ coming out. Service as mentioned earlier is outstanding. Valentino is amazing and definitely makes your experience better! There's a DJ box and the atmosphere is club-like but in a good way. We couldn't eat much so we split an 8oz Australian Wagyu Ribeye. it came with the lettuce and banchans. We thought since it wasn't the meal set it was just going to be a piece of meat and order the sides separately. I can't remember our servers name but he was excellent. Attentive and cooked our steaks exactly how we liked it. Dessert is the vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel sauce. Wish they had jars for sale!! For the service, quality, and quantity of food, especially if you get the meal set, I think it's a bargain for on the strip Vegas prices. read more

DO NOT get scammed by "off-menu wagyu sando" They don't disclose price, major upsell unless you specifically ask and then cry afterwards (too bad!). I'm not a stingy guy and if it was worth $150 I would pay it, simply it wasn't and I didn't appreciate how they go about it. I've been to numerous fine dining steakhouses/BBQ spots in LA/SF/Miami/NY and Japan... nowhere charges $150 for a small sando that is pitched in an exceedingly deceitful way. It's a blatant rip off and doesn't taste like it's worth 2 full set menus. Unfortunately that alone sours my experience despite overall flavorful food and ambience was great. End of the day only writing this as a PSA. read more
