My wife and I were looking for breakfast and 3 blocks from were we live there is a IHOP and Jack in the box and few others but we noticed this little restaurant. A small line out in front, full inside, and bustling with wait staff taking care of customers. Our wait was only 10 minutes The place was clean clean clean. BTW did I say clean. Great tasting food I had a ham and cheese omelet, my wife had the vegetable omelet and we shared a side of corn beef hash and 2 pancakes. Overall good but not great. The inside seemed a little bland. There are tables outside in front of the restaurant that have a great view of the parking lot and the Jack In The Box drive thru. The food was good but not great. We had the Popeye and Denver omelettes with home fries. We were driving around Sunday, trying to locate a restaurant via Yelp with good reviews for breakfast. Two of the places we tried were PACKED. Then I remembered Country Cafe, a place where a friend of mine eats often. Down to earth. Good home cooking. Excellent service. I ordered a Popeye omelet and the MU had a breakfast burrito. The food was well prepared, served quickly and was damn good. Most amazing is how friendly everyone is who works in the restaurant. We were asked by more than one person how our food was, if we needed anything else, etc. That does not happen in the Devil's Spawn of Pancakes located nearby. My English muffin was served with strawberry jam that hit some major taste bud happiness in my mouth. For all I know, it could have been out of a jar, but it was so much better than those foil packets normally left on tables. I love this place. I love the vibe, the food and the fact that it's a local business. Find it. Go there. You will not be disappointed if you like good breakfasts at reasonable prices with happy people serving you your food. read more

A diamond in the rough!! The cafe is tucked in the corner of the shopping center, just adjacent to IHOP, but don't go there. Go to Country Cafe instead! I've been here twice, having the Ortega and Cheese omelette and Portuguese sausage and eggs. I also ordered biscuits and gravy. The food was fantastic as was the service. Real home cooking with home style potatoes or brown rice (is what I had with the Portuguese sausage). They put just enough cheese on the omelette without going overboard like some restaurants do. That way the flavors of green chilis and the eggs comes out much better. While I've only been here twice, I can declare Country Cafe, is my 'go to ' place for breakfast. They do stay open until 2 pm, so I'll come by for lunch sometime too. I look forward to trying other items on the menu. Great place to eat!! read more

Finally got to try this place. Parking was tough as the entire parking lot was full. Inside was nicely "country style " decorated. Quickly got a seat. I was greeted in less than a minute and had a cup of coffee seconds later. Chicken fried steak was good and plentiful. Side of biscuits and gravy nice. Only thing negative I can say is the gravy for the biscuits could use more flavor. It was more on the side of flour rather than sausage. Great prices too! read more

This restaurant is the best place to get good home comfort food style cooking. With a quaint patio seating area, they allow you to bring your dogs, and they even give the little guys a bowl of water. The owners are as sweet as pie. The staff is sometimes slow but the more seasoned workers stay on top of it. Which is the only reason for minus 1 star. Everything else is GREAT!!! read more

And the next time I came here the service was TRASH. We ordered online to pick up and they said it would be ready at one time and they were 2 HOURS BEHIND!!!!! Which is pathetic. They were bring order after order out that the people weren't here over 50 orders just sitting on the table cause the people were not here. What they should of done was start making orders for the people that are here but they wouldn't do that. Also they couldn't cancel the order there and we had to call but the numbers weren't working. This breakfast/lunch restaurant is a rare find! I went two days in a row just to make sure it was REAL, the breakfast was that good! The first day I had two eggs with a ham steaks and their country potatoes, the second day I had the same thing but with bacon. The eggs and potatoes were identically great. The ham was real with bone-in, not "luncheon meat" from a rolled ham. The bacon was cooked to order. I can't remember ever being asked how I like my bacon! The strawberry jam and the orange juice are made on site. All breakfast items started fresh from scratch and were cooked perfectly. This family-run restaurant gets five stars from me. Star 1: Quick, friendly, attentive service Star 2: Top quality food Star 3: All food prepared expertly Star 4: Excellent food presentation Star 5: Entire restaurant sparkling clean (Including restrooms) This is my new Go-To breakfast/Lunch Spot.
