Went to Cloud 9 for the first time during their Harry Potter week and I loved it! The drinks were great and the treats were tasty! We got the Nimbus 2000 iced coffee and the butterbeer hot latte, we also tried all the sweets and the golden snitch cake pop was my personal favorite! I've visited this cute little coffee truck a couple of times now. I saw tons of posts on social media about this place and I absolutely love coffee, so I knew I had to check Cloud Nine Coffee out to get my "energy" on. So, Cloud Nine doesn't have a huge variety of drinks, but they have the options for lattes, iced coffees, and they even have the nitro cold brew which Starbucks doesn't seem to ever have when we visit Starbucks. They even have options for the non-caffeinated drinkers. For the sweet tooth lovers out there, if you haven't been here yet you'll wanna check this place out. I know they make some of the sweets, but from my understanding they get sweets delivered to their truck weekly from another local business. If you're like me and you're on the go, don't worry, they are pretty quick and coffee is always brewed fresh on their fancy machines in the back. CLOUD 9 is BACK! And better than ever! I'm lucky to work right around the corner and have access to this gem of a coffee spot. They recently moved into the Stockdale Tower instead of the trailer in front. With seating indoors it'll be a nice respite in the mid-mornings when my coworkers and I just need a quick break. The interior is chic and geometric - lots of lines in blacks, whites, and neutrals. The living wall loaded with plants is simply stunning and brings me such joy. I love a clean space with plants - it's my happy place! The coffee and overall menu is minimal but plenty if you're a coffee aficionado. Their specialty items in the past were fun and interesting. Fair warning though, this is a coffee lovers paradise. If you're here for the sickeningly sweet milkshake like drinks that corporate coffee houses put out then you may be a wee bit disappointed. While I'm sure they'll make just about anything you should be prepared. This coffee house is also committed to producing zero-waste. Meaning, there are no paper to-go cups. There is a small re-usable fee - in my case 25 cents for a gorgeous glass container. It even had the cutest hair tie on the jar!!! I'm positive the fee doesn't even cover their expense, but it's their mission and dream and I'm happy to do my part. Although a bit tricky to find , once I was inside I felt welcomed . Everyone here was so incredibly friendly even the customers. The decor inside is nothing short of instagram worthy , but you also have the option of enjoying your things outside which is just as cute . I walked in and was helped right away , I asked for a suggestion as it was my first visit and was told the julep was the most popular and very tasty. I chose though from The specialty menu a brown and white with almond milk . Since I was dining in. There's a .50 cent jar deposit, but if you return it they'll hand you your deposit back . Cloud 9 Coffee Company is all my coffee dreams come true. They have a cute space with lots of plants and cozy nooks for spilling secrets, sharing ideas, and meeting friends over delicious coffee. I've had the peach coffee and the brown sugar latte and both were delicious. My favorite so far is the peach one. It sounds like an odd combo but it really works. We finally found it! Bottom of the tallest Bako building where the Petroleum Club is. Had a great cup of salted caramel latte. Hubby enjoyed his java too. We would make the drive over here again. Pleasant ladies. The truck is cute and pleasing to the eye. Not a huge selection of snacks/treats but this could depend on what time you go. I asked for non-fat milk. This was not an option so whole milk is what I had. They do have non-dairy options as well. Thr requested feedback we forwarded when they sent us our receipt by e-mail is that they would have the skinny milk for next time! Great customer response. We love to support local. In town for a few days, went looking for some good coffee and found this place! Ambience was very open and airy for a small little shop. The back patio seating was great for the Covid situation we have going on right now. I found it interesting that this place specializes in coffee and plants! I am hooked after just one! I had an iced coffee julep (subbed regular milk with almond milk) and omg so good! There are other really cool looking coffees as well. They have a more unique menu than other coffee places, with speciality flavors. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Coffee is served in a jar with a lid and a hole for the paper straw (environmentally conscious). They charge A $.50 deposit which is given back if you return the jar. The only thing that would keep me from coming more regularly is that they don't have the calorie content listed or available like chain stores would, and I need to have that for my personal accountability. My absolute fav coffee shop in Bakersfield!! The customer service is top notch. I literally get the best vibes from all the baristas every time I come :'). And on top of such great service, the coffee is always made right. My go to is an iced coco cream latte and it has the perfect amount of coffee, coconut, and rich taste from the milk. I highly recommend coming here for a quick coffee stop or a place to study/do work! The interior has a comfy, chill vibe that makes it easy to concentrate and relax. Attended the soft grand opening on Saturday, 7/13/19, and am in LOVE with the new space. I had become hooked on their unique drinks visiting them in front of The Petroleum Club building and then across the street from St. John's and was sad during their hiatus from the local coffee scene. That being said, their return as a brick and mortar location is with major fanfare! The space, now inside the Petroleum Club building in a suite to the left of the entrance, is gorgeous! There is plenty of seating inside, as well as an outside patio. The drinks are the same delicious creations, my two favorites still being the Mint Julep and the Cloudine. My daughter and I had both! The big thing for me, because I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to drinking my coffee (and tea) are the cups! They are now serving in ceramic cups and real glasses! I love supporting the local coffee shops whenever I can. I'd been wanting to check out cloud 9 for quite some time now and finally had the chance. I woke my wife and daughter up early Saturday morning and made the journey to California ave. It's a bit Hidden at the stockdale towers around the back. We were happily greeted by the two baristas working at the time and since it was our first time there they gave us the run down. I went with the salted caramel latte and my daughter had the same but cold and my wife had the brown and white which she loved. I loved the the coziness and atmosphere of the place the hospitality was great and it felt inviting definitely loved the decor. The try to reduce there carbon footprint on the environment by not offering paper cups for to go orders instead the ask for a dollar deposit and your served in a mason jar type cup , which I thought was great. So pretty much you return it on your next visit and get your dollar back. I will definitely be returning to try out something else on the menu, my only gripe is that they open at 8am I wish they were opened earlier , either way keep up the good work and great coffee ! read more

The outside is nothing, so if you stumble upon office buildings, know that you are in the right place. I thought my friends drove me here because they were running errands like filing paperwork and needed to visit an office. The cafe is on the first floor and to the left when you enter the lobby. The cafe has some bookshelves lined with lifestyle books, mugs, and other trinkets that you can browse while you're in line. They have a small but quality menu with coffees, teas, and baked goods. I ordered the chai tea and can confirm that it's good (and I'm pretty picky with chais)! I love the look and feel of the shop, but im not much of a coffee drinker. So, when I asked Mallory what I should get, she did not disappoint WHATSOEVER! She was perfectly patient when i said all of my restrictions and handled it with ease and bright, friendly smile.
