I went here and they treated me and my friends really bad. One of the security guards was rude and we ended up leaving because of him. Not what I expected and will never go again and don't recommend this location. read more

We didn't have any food, they didn't have that option but the drinks, the staff were ALL A-1! We had a great time start to finish and even stayed longer than planned because we felt so welcome. I don't think I've ever encountered a Coyote Ugly that's been quite like the movies, but I guess in some ways this one comes close. You get the typical divey feel and the extra-wide wooden topped bar where they're happy to tell you that girls can jump up on and dance on any time without asking. We were carded at the door, which was surprising considering we were among the few in the joint who didn't look like teenagers. One of the bartenders was on the bar top with a microphone and some drunk girl trying to set up a body shot for some frat boy. She stayed up on the bar dancing and talking with people and never really served any drinks. I ordered a couple of drinks from the other bartender behind the bar. They were the most watered down drinks I've ever had from a bar. Not sure if they water down their liquor or just pour way too much mixer. Either way, I will not be going back. read more

The bartender and bouncer guy literally BEGGED and BEGGED with the most desperation for me and my wife to get on their bar top, so my wife did only to then get pressured to buy a beer while on the bar. We headed here on a Wednesday night and it happened to be Ladies Night with $3 "U-Call-Its" all night long. Whether it was a shot of Patron or a Long Island, it was all $3. Also, there was no cover, not even for men. A jukebox played random music ranging from Top 40 to old school hip hop to country and even Celtic. Celtic?! Yes, the Coyotes even danced like they were in Riverdance! The bartenders were good looking, especially Cristhian, and they took care of us; definitely the best bartenders I've ever had. And, if you wanted to, any girl could get up on the bar and dance alongside the Coyotes. Afraid to slip and fall on the bar? The bar staff constantly wiped the bar clean. I was impressed. The bouncers are absolute assholes. I got kicked out for grabbing my wife's foot while she was on the bar. The guy that was "working" his job, yet took a shot while telling me to not touch the girls up on on the bar. After I helped my wife down he said It was time to leave even though I had done nothing besides tell him it was my wife and I left my arm in the bar because I had a cast on my arm due to a broken wrist. This is probably the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with in over 15 states and they are way overpriced for there so called service. This place was terrible. The door guy yelled at one of the girls I was with. The girl on the bar was trying to be the "rude girl" from the movie but like it didn't go as planned. She was awful and said who wants shots but didn't make it known that we had to pay for them. And then when we requested 2 different kinds of shots, we got SOOOO much attitude. I visited OKC from out of town and went here on a Sunday night with my sister. It was fail. Granted, I AM used to going out in Los Angeles and New York City, so not much can compare with those kinds of nightlife scenes. However, this place was just blah. The drink was pretty much a $6 tonic water - there was hardly any gin in it. Gross. Still, that's a cheap drink. Don't be so stingy with the liquor though. There was some small little birthday party going on there, and that was about it. The worst part of this bar other than the crappy drinks was the whole "waitress dancing on the bar" thing. It was SO embarassing to watch! There were maybe 10 people in there and she was grinding like a stripper and pretending that there were about 300 people there. It was soooooo awkward! I would have given this place more stars if they made a strong drink, but since they failed at the first task of being an ACTUAL bar instead of a SODA FOUNTAIN, then they lose. read more

Hard to get the attention of the staff unless you're willing to do some public body shots, etc. Stand on the sides of the bar for a better chance of getting the bartenders attention. This place was terrible. I went here on a Friday night after a Thunder game and it was dead. The bartenders talked constantly over a microphone, which was really loud. I understand that is their theme, but it was annoying and none of them had personality. Few of them had looks. To come back and we finally get a table I go to get us a couple beers and I can't even get the bartender to look at me ignored me every time I try the labor down or talk to her. I tried for over 10 minutes so I had to give up and go to the other side of the bar finally got my drink. The kicker is right after I walked away that same Martin became straight to my friend and asked if he needed anything. Went to have a great time like any other person would. Showed up with my boss since we're in town only for the weekend. I ordered my beer and was asked if I wanted to keep my tab open. Of course I said yes and went about my way. About a half hour passed and I could see my boss drinking more and more. I was hoping he used his own money but the 1 star rating is because the bartender failed to ask me if it was ok for my boss to buy drinks on my card. First off, I am not someone writing a review because I get easily offended or do not know what a good time is. I am from out of town and love bar concepts like this. Our group walked in very optimistic and ready to have a good time. The first thing we see is a girl spitting a shot into a patrons mouth? He got it all over his face and in his eyes and seemed very displeased. We still stayed optimistic. Next we have the girls yell over the microphone while staring at us that we have to go to the bar to order, we won't come to you "yes I'm talking to YOU" she says. Ok, still we laugh and go up to the bar, my friend has his money out and the girl reaches out to take it BEFORE asking what he wants to drink? He pulls the cash back and goes ahead and orders the drinks. Drinks- too much mixer and overpriced for the value. I wouldn't care to pay for experience if there was a decent one in this place, however the girls are overrated. Very hateful and I expected more attractive staff for a Coyote ugly bar. Next, we sit there and watch the "show" (almost so repulsive you cannot help but watch) we see the coyote uglies pulling a girl up to the bar that seemed resistant, sitting her in a bar stool, handing her a shot (all the while one of the girls is taking a lime and sucking it in and out of her mouth, like her life depended on it, then rubbing it down her body into her pants, back out and back into her mouth) they make the patron take the shot and then she puts the infected lime into the patrons mouth and the bar guest seemed very grossed out and confused. This was with the same hands the worker had been crawling all over the nasty bar with. The girls are very overrated, I expected the staff to be more attractive. They are hateful, and I know how the concept works but they don't have to all act like the mean girl from the movie. They could probably use a lesson on how to actually make money. We saw multiple guests leaving after the way the staff acted. Overall the experience was very poor and we ended up leaving to spend our money elsewhere. So the story of Coyote Ugly is... A NYU Wallstreet grad turned bartender decides to open up her own country bad ass chick bar in New York City. One very famous Coyote happens to be writer Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat Pray Love & Committed) who actually wrote an article for Maxim Mag about her little experience. I thought the whole story was intriguing!! Hence, they made the movie but added the whole love story twist to it. Hollywood.... If you come in expecting hot chicks with huge tits then you got another thing comin' my friend (please note that I'm not saying the girls are ugly) The girls are rambunctious, full of energy and ready to sell you a body shot or 2.. Or 3.. or more. They sing, they dance, they pour, they sell ($20 body shot anyone?)..... On a good night I suspect it's a whole lot of fun close to something you see in the movie, but on a Thursday night it seemed a little dead. I was there auditioning to be a Coyote and I thought it was wild dancing on the bar and all, but I wouldn't quit my day job. People do smoke right at the bar, which is something I'll never get used to being from Cali. The bouncers actually wash up any wet marks on the bar top to ensure that none of the girls slip and fall (very cool) and the drinks are sorta steady; however, I saw multiple guys and girls come up to the bar waiting for service and promptly leaving because they couldn't get the bartender's attention. Hello, I have been a patron of your establishment for years and have NEVER been asked to leave. The way I was treated last night was unacceptable. I arrived at your establishment at approximately 6:15 PM. I ordered 2 Budweisers and had 2 raspberry teas the whole night( since you do not carry the peach schnapps for a long island iced tea) sipping on my drinks until 11 pm when I was harassed by the head bouncer who claimed to be the acting manager on the staff. First, I lost my new pack of cigarettes, which I take responsibility for since I do that often even when I am sober. I went to look for them as I was going to the bathroom looking by the bar and in the back where I was, trying to find them without being rude to other patrons, the "acting manager" said I was not walking straight enough for him and that I was too drunk to be in the bar. I was humiliated in front of the people I was with. The only thing I can think of was the fact I lost my balance on my bad ankle from neurological issues from a bad car accident I was in. I didn't even get to drink my 4th drink which was the 2nd Budweiser I had ordered as I was escorted from the premises after I came out of the bathroom. I was NOT making a scene or acting crazy. I only got on the bar once early on about 8 ish I played a game on the bar about sex positions with another female. We won and she got a shot, not me. I was singled out for a disability I have no control of and was ripped off of the money I spent for my drink. I asked politely to have them give me a sobriety check but they just claimed their answer was final. I will be posting this on ALL the social media, review sites like google, yahoo, and bing, and BBB sites. I will definitely be very vocal to everyone about how I was treated as I was as I was finishing my cigarette outside after I was rudely asked to leave. My wife and I were visiting OKC last weekend, staying in the Bricktown area. Late on a Saturday afternoon we were walking around Bricktown trying out a few brewpubs. Around 4pm We walked past Coyote Ugly and the bouncer said they had some cheap beer specials. We both agreed to go in and have "just one drink". As we walked in the door we were greeted by bar of about 15 people all yelling "hello", including the two bartenders. We bellied up to the bar and ended up staying for several hours. The bartenders were really friendly, kept the drinks coming and got everyone involved. We ended up having a great time and were late for the baseball game we'd bought tickets for. I'm not sure if we would have had as much fun if we'd shown up later in the evening when I'm sure it's packed, but the smaller afternoon crowd was perfect. The bartenders are not only servers, but excellent salespeople. They really get people to buy shots, extra drinks, etc. This might annoy some, but to us it made it all the more fun. We had a group of 8 people celebrating a bithday there. After being there for four hours and spending more than $500 at this establishment we were told we would have to leave our seats because the tables were resered. The reservation was a 10:00 (for the other party) and it was 10:15! During the four hours we were there, we had a good time with the staff, but when we asked why we had to leave, the manager quickly called the bouncers over and told them to get us out of there. No explanation, nothing, just pure rudeness! Even the staff didn't understand why we were being asked to leave. The bartenders thought we were having a good time, the bouncers all looked confused about the situation and we were quit appauled at the whole ordeal! We found out from some friends later that this was not an isolated incident, as a similiar occurance happened with them as well. We have yet to recieve a return phone call from the General Manager either. Seems they don't want to deal with customer service at all. We will not be back, nor do we recommend this establishment for ANYONE, your money would be better spent somewhere else where it will be appreciated. read more
