If you're craving steamed crabs, this is the place to go. We sat at the open-air picnic tables near the entrance in the section served by the two Jens, and they were fantastic. Both were friendly, attentive, and made sure the crabs kept coming. The all-you-can-eat special features small to medium crabs, but don't let the size fool you. Every crab we had was full, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned. We left happy and would definitely come back for another crab feast. The atmosphere is part of what makes this place special. It feels less like a restaurant and more like you're hanging out at a friend's house for a crab feast. The playlist was packed with '70s, '80s, and '90s rock, and the whole place had a relaxed, fun, come-as-you-are vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening.

Crab Feast #1 Hot Steamed Crabs

Come here every year and eat as many crabs as possible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the whole experience of eating crabs and the conversations as it requires you to not be on your phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got a bunch of appetizers which included the burnt ends, fried calamari, crab cheese fries, hush puppies(all were devoured so there was no pictures taken.) This was my first time getting an actual meal here outside of just the crabs and the buffalo chicken mac and cheese was definitely a hit. The service here is usually great as there is a lot of people there and they are all running around and able to keep good service to each table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The feel of this place is great as well, with a large plethora of areas to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love the different crushes here as well, personal favorite is the creamsicle.

Crabs were fresh and packed with meat. Fried calamari and hush puppies were great as well. Service was decent. Had a great time there and will definitely be back once we're in OCMD!

Huge Shout out to Crab Bag from our visit this past August, hands down the best orange crushes we had on our trip! Besides being strong and so refreshing as crushes are, they were at happy hour price for $5 during the day! We definitely frequent Crab Bag on our yearly trips down to the area and have NEVER been disappointed which says a lot. They have an VERY expansive menu of all things crab but also BBQ and many other things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great casual spot for families as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our kids always like their food here. Macaroni and cheese for kids is huge but great. I personally love their crab soups and always get some kind of oysters. My husband typically opts for one of their steam pots and leaves quite full. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It gets very busy on summer nights so we often find lunch time and late afternoon to be the best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just a quick tip for you! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always great and many areas and options for seating both indoor and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back for more great food and amazing crushes next summer or sooner for sure!

We love it here! Every year that we vacation in Bethany Beach we stop here for a delicious seafood feast!! We got lucky this night that the lobster/crab legs pot was on their special menu. It was such a great value! (I do not remember the price because I ate this a few months ago but I would never have ordered it if it wasn't a great price! lol). This was my first time eating lobster... literally because it came with the crab legs and omg... chefs kiss! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the vibe, and overall the service is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Looking forward to our next visit in 2026!

We stayed at a local Airbnb and discovered Crab bag in the last week of August. We went there after going to another establishment for AYCE crabs so we were just going for dinner. We were able to walk in 6 adults and 1 toddler. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a super casual place so no need to dress up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious and the pricing is affordable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The second floor kinda had an odor. Maybe it was the cleaning supplies but my sister did not like it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't really notice it but the next time we returned, we sat on the main floor and it did not have a smell. We did AYCE the next time and it was delicious. It was worth the price and the service was great. The crabs were fat, warm and seasoned. We definitely will return as we did eat there 2 days in a row lol

From the perfectional orange crush flavor to the delicious, fair price crabs, this was 10/10 choice for a casual dinner. On top of that, the staff were extremely friendly. Our server was cool and attentive. Lowkey off the Penjiman though, but good for him. High key recommend the crab dip. Will be coming back next trip.

Was so excited to finally try this place ! Went on Monday and got the crab pot special for football . We were starving and could not wait to dig in !! The pots FINALLY arrived and thank God my boyfriend noticed something on my pot and stopped me ! The pictures will explain. My bf threw up his soda . I haven't been able to eat since .

Crab and shrimp pot

The crab was absolutely delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked that they put down brown paper so you didn't have to worry about not making a mess[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . The corn in the pot was kind of bland compared to the crab but the crab and shrimp made up for the corn .

We came here as a big family dinner and it was a nice time. The ambience is very beachy, sitting at a picnic table for hours is a little hard in the back, especially for the older folks. But when you're a big group you take what you can get! The food was good! One of my crab leg clusters was a bit over steamed but everything else was good! Everyone seemed very happy with their dinner. The Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy, the ribs were fall off the bone, the shrimp, clams, and mussels were all well done! All in all a solid choice, I just wish they weren't out of whole crabs when we went.

Blue crabs!

Pretty cool alternative place with a cool "punk" beach vibe. Staff polite and very nice. Luckily we got there a little early because the wait was not terrible, but they got considerably busier shortly thereafter. For starters, we ordered their warm pretzel with crab dip, and it was very good. We liked that the pretzel was already cut into pieces, and the crab dip was very tasty. For dinner, I got the French dip with the french fries. It was very tasty and certainly enough to eat. I also got a side of potato salad, which I wasn't quite as crazy about because it seemed to have a lot of dill in it or some other herb. Not bad, but not my favorite. Wife got the turkey and gravy over crinkle cut french fries. She had never had it this way, but said it was very good. We got chicken strips for my son with french fries and I ended up eating some of the chicken strips, which were also very good by the way. One of our friends got the roast beef sandwich, which looked incredibly tasty. We had no complaints about the food, the waiter was very attentive, and the wait was not very long. We would definitely eat here again.

While the original brand was founded in May 1980 on the downtown Boardwalk by Phil and Marie, the 94th Street uptown location brings that same iconic barbecue joint energy to North OC--serving as a beloved haven for meat lovers and beachgoers looking for a hearty, satisfying meal. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original Bull on the Beach opened on May 28, 1980 on 2nd Street and the Boardwalk. The 94th Street spot was opened to bring their pit-cooking tradition to the uptown crowd.Owners: Founded by husband-and-wife duo Phil and Marie, who moved their family from Baltimore to Ocean City with a vision of creating a classic open-pit barbecue restaurant where guests could watch the meat cook over open flames. It remains a proud, family-operated Maryland staple. The Open Pit Beef Specials The star of the show at Bull on the Beach is their charcoal-cooked, top-round pit beef. Sliced thin to order and piled high on fresh rolls, it's served with signature additions like spicy tiger sauce, raw onions, and horseradish. The Open Pit Beef Platter: The classic, no-frills standard--tender, smoky choice top round sliced to your exact preferred temperature. The Barn & Bay: A classic surf-and-turf sandwich layering open pit beef with a jumbo lump Eastern Shore crab cake, bacon, and tiger sauce. The Dunker: Thinly sliced pit beef smothered in sauteed onions, melted Swiss, and provolone, served with rich homemade au jus for dipping. The Beef Royale: Open pit beef topped with cheddar cheese, bistro mustard, and a beer-battered onion ring. The Legendary Hot Beef & Gravy Platter If there's one comfort meal locals rave about, it's their Famous Hot Beef & Gravy. Hot Beef & Gravy Platter The Build: A massive portion of hot, thinly sliced open pit roast beef piled over thick sourdough bread. The Finish: Accompanied by a mountain of golden French fries (or mashed potatoes) and entirely smothered in rich, savory homemade brown gravy. It's an open-faced diner classic executed to perfection--warm, deeply flavorful, and guaranteed to put you straight into a post-lunch beach nap.
