Ok, here goes. Passed by here too many times. Very curious because at this end of Colorado Blvd, not too many restaurants. Well, I finally took a 20 min drive and opened the front door. Immediately welcomed, and seated. I thought it was buffet style, but more like sit down and order. Very open and airy. Our server came with water and a big smile. After analyzing the unique menu, I understood it was a boiling crab style event. Ordered the under $50 for two main menu. Mussels and shell on shrimp with all the adds the come with it. Potatoes broccoli corn and a perfect boiled egg. Selected the lemon pepper Cajun style. I liked that when the order arrived, it was presented into an aluminum pan. Kept the selection well soaked and warm vs table unloaded. Large mussels and large shrimp. The sauce was amazing and must have had a clove of delicious garlic morsels. I was more than happy! To top off an amazing lunch, was what I call the "side Show " seemed like about 20 epic Chinese rarities I love. Pig ears spicy style, chicken feet, and spicy gizzards. I came here due to a post on instagram. They made the place sound delicious but the sauce is not as good as Boiling Crab. I'd give the sauce a 7.5/10 because it is quite salty.. We ordered beef rolls and the 2 person combo with peeled shrimp and snow crab. The peeled shrimp is very small and extremely salty. The good thing in the combo was the corn, broccoli, and potatoes. I'd say the combo was a 7/10 due to the saltiness of the shrimp and sauce. Lastly, in the 2 person combo you can choose 2 fried foods and we chose the dumplings. These were not good. There is no juice inside, the dough is hard, the meat isn't savory. The beef rolls were absolutely terrible. For $16 you only get 4 pieces, usually we get 6-8 in other restaurants for the same price. They give VERY little meat, and not good quality meat. It is very fatty and oily, do not recommend. Beef rolls were a 1/10. The appetizers on the side aren't delicious. We got medium spicy for the sauce and it was so delicious we even dipped the soft shell crab and beef rolls in it As if that wasn't already a lot of food, we also ordered from their Chef's Special menu so we could bring home leftovers. We got the spicy chicken, which is deep fried crunchy pieces of chicken with fried lotus root sticks tossed with spicy numbing peppers. Our son loves this dish so we order it whenever we see it, and this was one of the best versions. We also tried the beef with pickled peppers, and we loved the sour flavors from the pickled bamboo shoots and peppers combined with the tender spicy beef. Yes, I enjoy eating at this place. I'm still confuse on how the side bar works. Was there a specific order i need to order? It wouldn't make sense to just order a drink and eat the side bar all day right? I couldn't find anything in the menu that mention about the side bar. The owner here is the sweetest! I'm sure she only care about her customer being happy. But I'm a big eater!! Every time I goes to the side bar, I felt guilty taking anything, especially when the owner is watching lol. After the first 2 rounds, I already start feeling bad for eating too much. --------------------------- I came again today, the owner wasn't here this time. Apparently, that is not a good thing. Everyone at the restaurant was great especially Ercos. He was very friendly and knowledgeable explaining to us the whole process. He was very attentive and anticipated our needs. He and a lady (sorry I didn't get her name) made sure we never ran out of water. In addition, Isabella (I presume the owner) made her rounds checking with all the patrons to make sure everything was okay. She is very friendly and accommodating. She even insisted that we take some of the candies home for our kids. I joked with her that the only thing missing is a senior discount. We both just laughed it off.
