Really enjoyed my experience at Crab Grabber! We started with their all you can eat appetizer bar and their jasmine fruit tea was so refreshing. The Japanese style seafood boil was delicious, snow crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and egg drenched in their signature sauce. We also tried the wings, which were crispy and flavorful. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in Pasadena!
Parking is available in the back, with convenient street parking as well. Spacious restaurant with plenty of booth and table seating, making it great for larger groups. They start you off with complimentary popcorn and offer a free unlimited salad bar with a variety of schezwan spice meats, veggies, sides, and desserts. We ordered the $49.99 combo, which came with 2 seafood and 2 fried items, along with a choice of seasoning. We ordered shrimp without the head, crawfish, a mix of all the seasonings, chicken wings, and sweet potato fries. Everything was good overall, although the seasoning was just okay. The shrimp were quite large, but they weren't deveined, so just a heads-up if that bothers you I also tried their ice jelly dessert, which was delicious--I went back for seconds! Friendly and attentive staff. Overall, a great spot for groups with lots of variety and generous options.
Forget the Crabby Patty and come to the Crab Grabber! So put your phone down and don't be a lagger! The place is hot they're going to have to stagger! So let me tell you what we all ordered because that's what really matters. I decided we should get the Combo B and this bag of goodness comes with four choices of seafood along with a seasoning. We decided on the lemon garlic butter and it was just right for us not to fight, LoL. They also have a cold bar that has sliced beef and duck neck just to name a few items plus a mini dessert bar. Service was friendly from start to finish and check this out, they didn't mind all my annoying little questions here and there. Parking is a little tight depending on what time it is. And that's my take on it, Peace out.
Crab Grabber was a really fun surprise. I originally came for the seafood boil, but what stood out most was learning about the owner and her decades of experience in the restaurant industry. The seafood was fresh, the fried combo was generous, and I also really enjoyed the tea-smoked duck, which was something different from what I expected to find at a seafood restaurant. The unlimited cold appetizer bar was another nice touch and made the meal feel like a great value. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and perfect for sharing a meal with friends. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
I read great reviews on Crab Grabber in Pasadena. They had a Yelp event which I wasn't part of. I actually had high hopes for them. Unfortunately, they missed the mark when I came here for take-out. I placed my order online through Door Dash. It's a standalone restaurant. Small parking lot behind it. Nicely decorated exterior. Interior had good space based on what I saw from the pick-up area. Since I didn't dine in, I didn't see the rest of the inside. My order was ready upon arrival. Lots of staff behind the front counter ready to greet customers. They seemed friendly at first, but when I returned back to inquiry about a potential mix up on my order, most of them walked away. Hmmm? I mistakenly thought they gave me two Iced Jelly and left out my Red Bean Soup because one of them looked watery from the top. Please note Red Bean Soup should not be watery. I have eaten quite a bit of them to know the real deal. One lady staff opened the container and said to me, "See there are red beans inside". OMG, I was a bit flabbergasted. That is not how a red bean soup should be. Another nice lady staff asked if I would like another red bean soup on the house. I said no because I didn't pay for two. I kindly ask that they make a legitimate red bean soup going forward. I just left. 1 Head On Shrimp (half pound) - Got gloves for the shrimp boil. Quite flavorful and garlicy! Averaged size shrimps... wished they were bigger though. 1 Fried Fish Fillet - Lots of delicious fillets, but tartar sauce given along with it was not the common condiment for it. Not very Asian inspired. Leave out the tartar. 1 Seafood Cream Soup - Very plain and bland, no flavor whatsoever, and watery. 1 Red Bean Soup - Soup was sweet, but red bean was bland. Btw, very small amount of red beans. More liquids than beans. 1 Iced Jelly - Now this dessert was delightfully sweet and wonderful. It was worth getting. I wished I got two of these instead of the red bean soup. Will I be back? I really don't know because I have mixed feelings about their food. Maybe for dine-in experience... I'll see.
It's been a long, long time since I had Cajun seafood boils. I've heard of this new place in Pasadena so we gave it a try. We got combo B worth $89.99 for three people. We picked peeled shrimp, crayfish, mussels, and clams. We also added half pound of sausages. It came with two potatoes, two eggs, four corns and broccoli. For our sides, we chose sweet potato fries, dumplings and chicken wings. Service was fast but when we saw our order, we questioned ourselves if we can finish this. To our surprise, we actually did. We loved everything. We also enjoyed the complimentary, unlimited appetizer and dessert bar. There's several selections but most were too spicy for me. I loved the desserts though especially the sesame balls. We arrived a few minutes before closing but customers were coming in nonstop, a good indication that this place was liked by many.
We saw Crab Grabber on Facebook and decided to bring the family in for a Sunday lunch. It looked like they may still be in a soft-opening phase--the sign said "Grand Opening Soon"--but the experience was already very enjoyable. Parking was easy when we arrived shortly after opening. The ambiance is fairly simple and what you'd expect from this type of restaurant, but the warm welcome from Kelly immediately set a great tone. She greeted us with the sweetest smile, took excellent care of our table throughout the meal, and was genuinely awesome. We ordered the crab-and-shrimp combo with added broccoli and corn, and it was really good. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the duck, which was sold out by the time we arrived, but we were able to take some home. The skin could have been crispier, and the meat was slightly underdone for our preference. After a quick finish in the air fryer, though, it was delicious. The biggest surprise was the catfish: perfectly cooked fish in a flavorful, not-too-salty broth with lots of bean sprouts, peanuts, cabbage, and cured meat. It had great umami and was easily one of the standout dishes of the meal. The scallion beef pancake was good as well. The pancake itself was excellent--crispy, savory, and satisfying--although the beef could have used a bit more seasoning. Still, the pancake really carried the dish. The side dishes were also impressive. The garlic beef was excellent, and we enjoyed the spicy tofu. The sesame balls were the one item that could use some improvement; they seemed as though they had been sitting out a bit too long, so the exterior had dried up. Keeping them under warming lights or serving them fresher would make a difference. To top it off, the owner came by to check on us and personally said goodbye when we left. That extra hospitality really added to the experience. Overall, a great new addition to Pasadena. Friendly service, flavorful food, and plenty of dishes worth returning for. We'll definitely be back!
This place offer a unique combination (not fusion) of northern Chinese food and seafood boil. Both very flavorful and good spices. Food: 5/5 We ordered the Combo A that comes with two sides, broccoli, eggs, potatoes, and two seafoods. We got a pound of mussel and a pound of shrimp with shell. We also added a half pound of sausage. The seafood boil was flavorful and the seafood was pretty fresh (no fishy smell or taste). However, the thing that sets this place apart from any typical seafood boil is their buffet bar. It featured northern Chinese delicacies like chicken gizzard, pig ear, and duck neck as well as some yummy snacks like smashed cucumbers, salt peanuts, and marinated tofu. Honestly, the buffet bar was along well worth the price. Everything was really tasty, but we saved room for their desserts that featured red bean soup, sesame balls, and herbal jelly. Service: 5/5 The service here was great. The staff kept offering us to take some candies to go. The staff told us to check out the buffet bar while we waited, but the food came out pretty quickly nonetheless. Ambiance: 5/5 This place use to be Jin Sushi. They did a good job remodeling the inside. It was a nice atmosphere to eat and they were also blasting kpop music. There was plenty of parking in the back. I will definitely come back here!

The steamed dumplings were juicy and comforting, while the scallion pancake beef rolls were crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful beef inside. We stopped in as soon as they opened the other day. There is parking in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is charming and there is plenty of seating. We came here for the seafood boil and the unlimited appetizer bar. The appetizer bar has so many options and we tried a little bit of everything. The duck necks and the spicy cucumbers were my favorites. We ordered the Combo A seafood boil which gives you two seafood choices, your choice of sauce and two fried choices. Qe went for the mussels and the peeled shrimp. We added some udon noodles. And we got the garlic butter, onion and green onion sauce. It was so good and flavorful. We got the garlic bread and the soup dumplings as our two sides. Both were great and quickly finished. We also added a smoked duck which was amazing. I should have ordered one to go. We were pretty excited to try this place, but we thought the seafood + Chinese dishes were just okay. Surprisingly, the unlimited sides bar is where it's at! My family came for lunch around 1 pm on Sunday and it was packed. Couldn't even find a spot in the parking lot and had to wait a little bit for someone to leave. There were a couple names ahead of us, so we ended up waiting half an hour or so to get seated. We shared the following: Combo A ($49.99) with clams and peeled shrimp in their mixed sauce, onion rings and chicken wings on the side Roasted fish - garlic flavor ($39.99) Tea-smoked duck ($26.99) Kung pao chicken ($18.99) The seafood combo was okay. We personally found it a bit salty and asked for some rice to eat it with. I was expecting sausage but they don't add that here. Of the 3 Chinese dishes we ordered, the duck was my favorite. It had a nice, smoky flavor, and portions were generous. The leftovers heated up nicely the next day as well! The kung pao chicken was pretty meh and tasted much too sweet. It felt like an Americanized version of the dish rather than having an authentic taste. The fish took so long to come out that we were pretty much done eating when it was finally brought out. Looking at the time stamps on my photos, it came out a full 30+ minutes after the first dish, the seafood combo, came out. We tried a little bit just to taste it. The fish itself tasted very fresh and delicious, but it was very bland. Didn't taste much garlic, and it definitely could've used more salt. The best part of the food here was surprisingly the unlimited sides / cold appetizers bar. We LOVED the food there. I didn't touch any of the spicy stuff, but the shrimp, the sliced pig ears, and the beef with garlic were all bomb, as were the shrimp chips. My family also loved the spicy tofu and the edamame. Service was a bit slow as they seemed short staffed. It took us a while to flag someone down for anything, even a water refill or to get the check.
It's really difficult to decide where to eat; my wife and I want something different, but the family wants Chinese food. I discovered Crab Grabber in Pasadena, which serves both Chinese and boiling crab-style cuisine. Crab Grabber is a plus in Pasadena because it has its own parking area in the back. The restaurant is quite large, with plenty of space and tables. We bought two sets of Combo A with Green Mussels, Headless Shrimp with Green Onion, Ginger, and Garlic Flavor, which includes Fried Onion Rings, Steamed Chicken Juicy Dumpling, and Crunchy Breaded Shrimp. We also ordered the Roasted Fish with Garlic Flavor. The alternative Combo A that includes Friend Chicken Wings, Steamed Chicken Juicy Dumpling, and Garlic Bread, Scallion Pancake Beef Rolls. As I was taking pictures, I noticed the owner with photos with multiple Hollywood people. I spoke with the owner while we waited for our food to arrive. The owner is very kind and caring, and I can see how she takes care of her employees. Not to mention, the restaurant provides free appetizers with a variety of options such as seaweed, pickled vegetables, duck neck, duck wings, kimchi, pig ears, chicken feet, gizzards, and dessert. I love the Old Fashion Aiyu Dessert, which brings back many memories of when I was a kid in Taiwan and used to ride my little bike to buy it with my sister. Bring the family and friends to Crab Grabber to experience the incredible seafood, Chinese cuisine, and scrumptious wonderful appetizers; this will undoubtedly be your location! We were welcomed with a warm smile and seated immediately. The hostess was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I was especially impressed by the variety of food offered. The cold buffet selection was extensive and very intriguing, with plenty of options to choose from. After a short wait, our meals were served. However, I noticed that two add-ons we had ordered--extra potatoes and rice--were missing. When I mentioned this to our waiter, he asked if we had already eaten the potatoes, which seemed like an unnecessary question since the food had just been brought to our table. The waiter returned shortly afterward with the missing items and explained that the potatoes had simply been left off the order. While I appreciated that the issue was corrected, greater attention to order accuracy and customer service would enhance the overall dining experience. That said, the food itself was flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. The ambiance was pleasant, and we enjoyed our visit to Pasadena. Overall, it was a good dining experience with excellent food, though there is some room for improvement in customer service.
A friend recommended this seafood boil spot in Pasadena, and it was absolutely worth the drive! There's a parking lot right behind the restaurant, which makes parking super easy. What really surprised me was the free AYCE cold appetizers -- duck necks, wings, feet, duck heads, and more. As long as you don't waste food, everything is unlimited, and the flavors are great. I even heard nearby customers saying "crazy" because they'd never seen a restaurant this generous. The owner is from Chongqing, and she personally makes all the cold dishes. She's been doing this for over 30 years, and it really shows. The seafood boil comes in many flavors, spicy and non-spicy, with both Chinese and Western styles. We ordered a non-spicy one and added spicy sauce on the side -- perfect balance. The crawfish was fresh, firm, and well-cleaned, with a huge portion. They also offer free desserts like red bean soup, mung bean soup, bingfen, and taro soup -- a very thoughtful touch. Come hungry! Free appetizers and desserts can't be taken to go. read more

This is a popular, relatively new seafood boil place that also mixes in Chinese food on their menu. I would have to say that our experience was overall pretty good, with a few hiccups that hopefully they will work out in the near future. First off, they opened in a really nondescript building in what is now one of the sketchier, abandoned areas of East Pasadena now overrun with homeless, prostitutes, and mentally ill people wandering around. While this is not their fault in the least, it does make someone who knows the area wonder why here. The outside is still the same bleak, run down exterior of the previous tenant - a long running, now closed Japanese restaurant. The interior, though, while nothing fancy has cleaned up nice. They offer a rather large free buffet bar for all diners full of all kinds of specifically authentic Chinese appetizers, from cucumber salad to sweet red bean soup to all kinds of innards and spicy tofu. So, people seem to really enjoy all that free stuff. Parking is also easy here, either on the street or in the lot they have in back. Tonight, on a Sunday, it was very busy. While there was no wait to be seated, there was only one server and one host. Then a couple more male servers seemed to appear to help out over time. The fact they're so understaffed is one of the bigger drawbacks right now. The servers are friendly and helpful in general, but when it is packed they can only run around so fast. They need to hire more staff for when they are busy. I assume the kitchen has the same issues, as it took almost an hour to get scallion pancakes and 25 minutes to get a 1/2 lb of sausage we forgot to originally order with our meal (This must be one of the only boil places where they don't include sausage but give you broccoli). We got the Combo B, which was $90 for 4 lbs of seafood, four half pieces of corn that add up to one cob total, a couple of potatoes, two hard boiled eggs, and broccoli, along with your choice of 3 "fried items". We got 1 lb. of snow crab and 3 lbs. of peeled shrimp in their everything sauce, spicy. It was a good sauce and a large amount of shrimp. The potatoes were quite a bit hard and undercooked, but oh well. For the fried items we had the onion rings, which were chewy inside and still a bit raw, the french fries, which they completely forgot to salt at all, and the garlic bread (2 pieces). The sides weren't great. Real bad was the $10 for 1/2 lb. of average sausage, not andouille, as is custom. It didn't finally make it out until everything else was eaten. And, worst of all were the $11 scallion pancakes. They took nearly an hour to come out, came out way near the end of eating, and were dreadfully uncooked, floppy, and drowning in oil. One bite and I threw in the towel. Don't order the sausage or the scallion pancakes! So, would I go back? I think so. I did like their sauce. I might try their Chinese food menu items for their lunch specials. It will be better once they get their liquor license, which they are still waiting on. Lose the broccoli and put a 1/4 lb. of sausage in the regular boil. And please find more staff as soon as possible. Still, despite these problems, probably due to the fact they've been open less than a year, people seem excited to try the place and I believe things will get better and smoother. The place is huge and can accommodate large party! All the entrees come with a large selection of cold dishes. Spicy beef with tongue, duck necks, edamame, fried peanuts, sweet Chinese dessert soup and many others. We had mild combo A with shrimp and spicy beef dry hot pot. The dry hot was very, very spicy for us and we can take the heat. The combo A served with different type of sauce and we had the Cajun style. It was mediocre, didn't taste the Cajun spices at all. All the portions are huge when combined with the cold dishes appetizers bar, we didn't even make a dent. The services are excellent and very attentive. Plenty of free parking in the back and off street parking as well. read more

Great seafood boil !! And much needed as there isn't one nearby. I like that they aren't your typical spot and are a more fusion restaurant that includes Sichuan and Chinese dishes. We got the 4 person combo meal, comes with tons of seafood and fried dishes. We opted with crab legs, head on shrimp, mussels, and crawfish. The flavor was good but wished it was a little hotter. For the sides, they were all tasty, the wings, soup dumpling, and fries. The self serve snack bar was quite unique. With tons of traditional Chinese chilled dishes like pork ear and seaweed. Our server was sweet and attentive! Great easy dinner with friends and family. Plenty of street parking and there is a tiny lot in the back. read more

I brought my parents since they're big seafood lovers, and we all ended up loving it. When you're seated, they bring out popcorn and at first I didn't think much of it, but it's actually really tasty. A little salty, a little sweet, and super addicting. We ordered the 4-person combo ($79.99) and it's a fantastic deal for the amount of food you get. You can choose four seafood items, three fried items, your seasoning and spice level, and it also comes with two eggs, six corn, and broccoli. And I have to say... the corn was amazing. Truly some of the best corn I've had at a seafood boil spot. For our seafood picks, we went with snow crab, green mussels, clams (doubled up), and added a lobster. The flavor was spot on, especially with the lemon pepper + garlic butter sauce. Everything came out fresh, juicy, and well-seasoned. The whole experience is fun and hands-on...great for families, groups of friends, or even dining solo since they offer individual specials too. Service was friendly, food came out hot, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely recommend giving Crab Grabber a try if you're in the Pasadena area and craving seafood! read more
I've never heard of a seafood boil that offers a complimentary unlimited side bar but they had A LOT of options - seaweed, pickled veggies, duck neck, duck wing, kimchi, and other veggies. We ordered the 4-person combo which was more for 3 people but the quality of the seafood was great. You choose your sauce, 3 fried foods, and 4 types of seafood which comes with 2 potatoes, 2 eggs, 6 corns and broccoli. We chose the New Orleans cajun sauce, two orders of the snow crab, shrimp head on, and clams. The snow crabs were full of meat and the shrimps were big and plump, although the clams were just okay. The owner also offered us mala sauce to try since it's a something you rarely see as a sauce option at a seafood boil and it was a fun Chinese twist on a classic dish. I also surprisingly really enjoyed the scallion pancake beef rolls but the main star of the show was the seafood boil so I didn't eat too many of the sides. We went on a Monday night and it was fairly empty besides a few other tables next to us. The service was good and pretty quick. read more

I don't normally give five stars but this place is definitely five star worthy! Family and I went on a Tuesday night around 5. There was no wait and a small amount of people. There is a popcorn machine at the front that they actually end up giving to you. Apparently the owner loves popcorn and wanted to give these out as their "chips and salsa". The staff is friendly and very kind to my feral toddler. The owner even came after to check how our meal was. My husband ordered 2 lbs of shrimp with the spiciest sauce and enjoyed it. I ordered 1 lb of the headless, peeled shrimp with the lemon and garlic butter. There is a 1/2 lb option which I should've ordered instead. There are plenty of appetizers and rice/noodle dishes as well. We ordered noodles for my son that he actually ate! When the food came, the staff even poured our food into the trays. They even have gloves! They have a buffet section of several side dishes, salad, and soup. Everything we ate was good. The restrooms are clean. There is a small parking lot in the back, as well. This was soooo good and for an incredible price. The New Orleans Cajun sauce was delicious. Packed with flavor without overpowering the food. Got the 2item seafood boil. A bunch of head-on shrimp drenched in the sauce with the crab legs. Great options for sides....walked out stuffed for under $30/pp including tax and tip. Definitely on the repeat list. read more
Crab Grabber just opened in Pasadena and it's already a must-stop -- super convenient too, sitting right off the 210 freeway for an easy pull-up What surprised me most? Their massive selection of Chinese cold dishes -- easily the highlight of my meal. They've got everything from marinated chicken feet with that perfect chewy bite, thin-sliced pig ears with a satisfying snap, to cool, garlicky cucumbers that refresh between heavier plates. You can choose spicy or non-spicy, and they even offer cold dessert soups that are lightly sweet, chilled, and so refreshing after the heat of the seafood boil For our spread, we ordered the 2 Person Combo featuring Snow Crab, Peeled Shrimp, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Sweet Potato Fries -- super satisfying and easy to share. The place is big inside. It has a snack bar, which is a nice touch while you're waiting for your food. Service was good and prompt. He kept coming around making sure we were ok and refill our waters without us even asking. Food was good and decent priced. I'd like to come back to try the other lunch specials, but for now, had to try the seafood. I'm glad it opened up close to home and will definitely come back for other food. read more
came here for the seafood boil and it was pretty solid overall. portions were generous and everything came out well seasoned. the shrimp, crawfish, and clams all tasted fresh, and the corn actually soaked up the sauce which i liked. they also have an ayce appetizer bar with things like fries and onion rings. nothing crazy but it's nice to have something to snack on while waiting, and it makes the meal feel more worth it. we also ordered the spicy steamed fish and that ended up being the highlight. it came out in a big tray with chili oil, peppers, peanuts, and vegetables. the fish itself was really tender and absorbed a lot of the flavor from the broth. it had a good level of spice without being overwhelming. service was amazing. staff was attentive and checked in often without being overbearing and everything came out pretty quickly. the place is pretty casual. definitely more of a come with friends, share food, and expect a bit of a mess type of spot. i'd come back again to try more of the menu read more

My favorite spot in town for Cajun seafood plus a variety of ayce cold dishes, all freshly made daily by the owner, who's been in the restaurant industry for decades. Their seafood and crawfish are amazing and not overly seasoned, the portion is good too, enough to feed the hungry crowd. I love their duck and peppercorn chicken, so yummy! This is definitely a place I'd keep coming back to. read more
I did a combo with shrimp and clams in their house special Chongqing numb and spicy sauce and it was great. The combo also comes with potatoes, corn, egg and broccoli. It had awesome flavor and heat. Surprisingly the best bite was the broccoli pieces because it absorbed all those spices. Combo also included 2 fried items which I chose onions rings and chicken wings which was tasty. Also included with having a meal here is the free self service station of snacks, Chinese cold dishes and Chinese desserts. It had so many items. The place is spacious and clean. Parking: they have parking lot in the back but not enough for full house, we came on Saturday lunch and parked on the street because parking lot full. Ambiance: The restaurant is kind of outdated! Looks like they just rent an old restaurant space and open without renovation. Food: we came here because Facebook ad, however, the food doesn't look good as the Ad. The carb is way too salty, the buffet bar was 80% spicy not kids friendly. Services: the service was horrible! The lady who in charge front desk and seating, skipped me three times. I wanted so badly to like this place, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case for my family and I. We used to frequent this particular location back when it used to be our favorite sushi spot, but had stopped a couple years ago as food and service had drastically changed. Anyways, we happened to find this spot after a reel found my algorithm. It showed someone's visit of this place with their large order of seafood, which I showed to my mom. She said it looked good and that we should definitely try it one day. She LOVES seafood. We ended up deciding to go here one day for lunch after one of my son's basketball games. We were seated fairly quickly, but one thing we immediately noticed was how far the table is to where you're actually sitting. We were sat at the booth closest to the door (going left from walking in) and we were all hunched over throughout our meal. It was not a good position to be in for that long. Anyways, we ordered what we had seen on the reel, the larger combo; 4 different seafood, all 1 pound with 3 sides. The seafood itself was good, but I don't know what happened with the sauce. The flavor was definitely there, but if you got too much sauce on one thing the flavor became too much, way too overwhelming. I don't know if it's because we are used to the typical Cajun seafood boil, but it really was too much, maybe even too salty. I couldn't really pinpoint what was wrong with it as I couldn't figure out what flavors I was actually tasting. My brother and mother agreed, unfortunately. We rated this a 5/10, with the seafood (aside from the sauce) saving its rating. We also got sides that came with our combo; regular fries, sweet potato fries, and fried chicken. We only ended up finishing the 3 pieces of fried chicken, which my little ones ended up eating. We also had some sides from the cold bar that they had, but a lot of the stuff my family doesn't really eat, and the ones they did eat, it was spicy. But again, that might just be us as we do spice, just not like that. For all the sides we got, we rated those a 4/10. As for the service, it was lacking. I am not sure if it was just because of us, but we had to flag down someone for our rice that we ordered way after we got our tray of seafood. AND we NEEDED the rice with all that FLAVOR. Then we were probably only visited once after that. Had to also flag them down to get our check. That ONE visit was someone who was speaking a different language (I'm sorry, i don't know what language), but when we excused ourselves in English for not understanding, she kind of just walked away with no follow up. My family and I looked at each other a little confused. We're really big on services, so this really rubbed us the wrong way. Now the ambiance - it was a little weird. Now I might be a little bias because I was so familiar with how it was set up as a japanese/sushi restaurant that the decor now is a little odd. I don't have much to say about it. Again, I'm really sad to have had to give this place such a sad review as we really wanted it be good. If I ever try this place again, I will update my review, if need be. Cheers & Happy Eats! This restaurant is now a seafood boil and it's pretty reasonably priced and close by. There's parking in the back. I think they use pretty plumpy shrimps. All the waiters and hostesses are super nice. We enjoyed the sides bar, salad, edamame, and the red bean, green bean, lemon jelly for dessert with sesame ball. I've been tripping on the same unlevel flooring from the side bar area to the bathroom area for years. read more

There were plenty clams for 1 lb; snow crab tasted very salty, try to avoid it; fried chicken wings were good, crispy outside, juicy inside; steam dumplings were so so. First time here and I thought it was great! Ordered Combo A and added 1lb of clams. The sauce looked a little thin but it stuck to the food wonderfully. Love that it comes with broccoli and corn for some veg. Also pleasantly surprised they gave us popcorn upon seating. Servers were very nice and a nice lady (the manager I think) was going around telling us about their specials for the next day which included hot pot so ill have to come back for that. Nice clean space with good lighting and it didnt feel cramped. Overall great place. Glad we chose it over Boiling Crab. Will definitely be coming back at some point ! read more

I came here due to a post on instagram. They made the place sound delicious but the sauce is not as good as Boiling Crab. I'd give the sauce a 7.5/10 because it is quite salty.. We ordered beef rolls and the 2 person combo with peeled shrimp and snow crab. The peeled shrimp is very small and extremely salty. The good thing in the combo was the corn, broccoli, and potatoes. I'd say the combo was a 7/10 due to the saltiness of the shrimp and sauce. Lastly, in the 2 person combo you can choose 2 fried foods and we chose the dumplings. These were not good. There is no juice inside, the dough is hard, the meat isn't savory. The beef rolls were absolutely terrible. For $16 you only get 4 pieces, usually we get 6-8 in other restaurants for the same price. They give VERY little meat, and not good quality meat. It is very fatty and oily, do not recommend. Beef rolls were a 1/10. The appetizers on the side aren't delicious. It tastes bland and some taste stale... Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for seafood boil or Chinese dishes. read more

I've never tasted such disgusting crayfish in my life. It was called "hand-held seafood", but in fact, it was just pre-marinated bagged seafood. The food was sooo good! Everything was very flavorful! I highly recommend getting the fish filet! It was definitely our favorite dish! We also loved getting by an extra order of the numbing sauce we added that on every dish! They also have free appetizers on the side! That was such a nice surprise! All of the food was bomb! I've seen this spot on instagram and rednote for a couple months now - thankfully lived up to the hype! I came with my hungry boyfriend and opted for the four person set which was more than enough. We chose snow crab, peeled shrimp, crawfish and green mussels. Super juicy and satisfying Ps. When dining in, you get access to an unlimited salad bar with unique sides like cucumber shrimp salad, spicy tofu, jellyfish, red bean sesame balls, chicken feet, and even duck. We ordered the $79.99 combo, which easily fed four people and came with three fried menu items. They also greet you with free popcorn when you sit down, which was a nice touch. Overall, a solid spot for groups or by yourself if you're looking for good portions and lots of options.
