We waited for our table in the bar area and although very crowded the bar tenders were very attentive and the drinks were delicious ! We were seated on the second floor with Jenn T and could not be more pleased from start to finish , she was running circles around the crowds and was phenomenal about drink refills and checking on us , was super helpful with explaining things on the menu ! Got everything on our order correct and served to us faster then lightning , she understood the importance of being out to dinner with a toddler and made sure to get our little guy a great big chocolate milk with a lid and got his order of fries to our table within minutes which made such a relaxing dinner for the adults , she was a server whom went above and beyond ! This was my first time at Crabby and it was pretty good. The restaurant is 3 stories and has a great view of Clearwater beach and pier 60. You do have to pay for the parking that's right next to the restaurant with parking meter/ by app. Once we got to the hostess table, the host gave us a ticket that told us which floor our table would be at. And right next to the first floor hostess table is the elevator and stairs for easy assess to the second or third floor. The waitress was great and knowledgeable on the menu! The food: I ordered the alligator bites which were amazing and probably the best thing at this restaurant. I also order the fried calamari and I felt there wasn't any flavor so I didn't not enjoy it. My family weren't impressed though since it taste like chicken. I also ordered the Bairdi crab with their old bay seasoning and butter garlic. It was pretty good but the old bay seasoning does get repetitive and more salty as you eat it. I would just recommend less of it or seasoning on the side since you won't have the seasoning on the crab leg meat. My family had the other dish and said it was good. However, there are 3 floors of seating options. We opted for the top floor for bar seating, which was plentiful. Our bartender/waiter was Phrank. He was awesome!!! He's the reason I went with 5 stars for this review! Food: oysters only come in a dozen but my sister in law destroyed them. We also shared the crab & spinach dip. A MUST for your appetizer. We both opted for the crab or lobster plus--2 sides and the rest is al a cart. The jumbo lobster tail is to die for. Drinks: literally everyone we drank was delicious. They have a full bar so if you don't see what you'd like on the cocktails list, they can make it Parking: street and beach parking. I spent eight full days in Florida and this was my favorite restaurant of all!! We were overjoyed to find reasonably priced parking that allowed us to eat and peruse the pier with no trouble! We were seated immediately, despite a spring break crowd. We sat upstairs with a view of the harbor and had a great server who was attentive and easy on the eyes, which our teen girls enjoyed immensely (ha!). The food was OUTSTANDING. A short walk from our Airbnb, our group tried Crabby's last night. Overall a great experience. Basel our server was very friendly, attentive and created a fun atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes, Fish & Chips, Mahi-Mahi Taco's, Combination Platter of Blackened Grouper and Shrimp, and Shrimp Fettuccine. All dishes were very flavorful, fresh and tasty with good portions. They have both inside and outside seating with heaters, it was pretty windy so we sat upstairs which is open air but with heaters. It's a very mainstream place, but I've still really enjoyed all of my experiences at Crabbys. It's literally right across the street from the main part of Clearwater beach which is so convenient, I think it takes maybe 5 minutes to walk there from the sand depending on traffic. My mom has an unhealthy obsession with coming here- she lovessss the coconut shrimp, and they are actually super good. They are huge and there is a pepper jam that you can dip in them that is just fantastic and really pulls the dish together. Clam chowder is pretty good too, Key Lime pie is nice and tart and yummy, and the workers are always super friendly that I've seen. I recently tried the grouper tacos and those have been my favorite thing I've had yet. There's also 3 levels and two floors of outdoor seating with a gorgeous beach view, along with a nice patio seating area where there's live music sometimes. read more

That was plenty for us! Crab dip was good, you couldn't really tell that the crab was inside. I REALLY wanted to write an awesome review for this place, but our dinner here was disappointing. We were on vacation and decided to go here for our ONE nice, expensive dinner out. We walked the 3 flights of stairs and were led to a table, surrounded by other tables, right by the kitchen door. No view, and servers going in and out of the kitchen carrying plates, bumping my table several times and talking loudly. Were not the type to complain, so we took it. We ordered dinner (2 entrees and 1 app) and I had been really looking forward to trying the Ceviche. 20 minutes later, our entrees arrived... the appetizer never came. The waitress blamed the kitchen, the runners, anyone she could, for the mixup. She took it off the bill, but didn't try to make it right at all! As someone who has worked in food service, I would have at least given a free drink or brought the appetizer anyway, no charge. But nope! Also, we ordered the "upgrade" with the crabs and got mussels with it. More than half of my mussels were only shell. No mussel inside. I searched the broth to see if they had fallen out and into it, but nope- empty. What a waste. Also, we ordered the "upgrade" with the crab meal. For $10 extra you could get mussels on your plate. It was explained to us, that we got the same portion as the appetizer, but at a discount. We asked if it came with garlic bread and we were told no. So we ordered garlic bread too. In the end we ended up paying MORE than if we had just ordered it as an appetizer!! Completely ridiculous. Thank God we ordered that garlic bread or both of us would have left still hungry. Oh and they charge you by the 3/4 pound for crabs. Not the pound. So when you order, you recieve a piece of the crab. Not the whole thing. Just something to think about... It's a shame, because the food here is good. We loved our crabs. They were fresh and delicious. But the service leaves much to be desired. I'm bummed. Phrank, our server, was the best you could ask for. He asked were we were from and gave us information that he knew about our state. This included the capital and what we are known for. When we went to Clearwater beach and saw it was there we were excited, and ended up going to both locations in Clearwater beach during our stay. This location is more modern than the other ones we have been too, we sat on the 3rd floor and had a great view of the marina and the beach across the street.
