We have always enjoyed visiting Cracker Barrel as a family event (usually once a month). This location, even after COVID, struggles to get To-Go Orders right and in a reasonable timeframe. Our recent visit we went inside. The pancakes were drenched in peaches (this comes on the side, but the waitress poured it over the pancakes to spare a kitchen trip), food was incorrect, and it took over 45min when they weren't even busy. The food is OK, the Atmosphere is always Great, but their service is sub-par for this location. Hopefully it turns around we like going! read more

Horrible. Horrible experience, horrible service. Came a little after 12 pm, Gage was our server. Even with 4 stars he managed to give us subpar service. My boyfriend and I are both servers, and everytime we come to this location it's bad. Ordered med rare steak and eggs, won't be doing that again, received med well-well done steak. Gage's words were, yeah I did type that med rare like you asked. No initiative to replace said $20 steak or have a manager touch our table. Asked for my 3rd side of fried okra 4 times before finally just asking for it to be boxed. No utensils. This location gets worse and worse by each trip. read more

Typical Cracker Barrel food, not great but consistent. Serving size has shrunk some in recent years, but still decent sized. Service at this location is hit and miss. One time, service is good, next time,,,, well, it's anyone's guess. Example, on our most recent trip for breakfast, server promised she only served fresh, hot biscuits. The ones that were brought out by the staff (not her) were more like hockey pucks, cold and hard. When she finally came by to check on us, we told her about the biscuits and after a lengthy wait, she brought out fresh ones but by then, we were through eating. Part of the problem with this location is lack of management involvement as I have brought things to management's attention only to be shrugged off. This place just opened up. So we decided to give it a try since it's only 10-15 minutes drive from our house. It's was almost closing time, place an order for pickup. I order country fried steak and was supposed to come gravy and two sides. We got home and there was none. Call the restaurant and a lady told us to go back and knock on the door. She said they she'll have it hit us. Drove back to the restaurant and no one came to the door. Called like 5 times before anyone picked up. Then the manager said that he can't open the door because they are closed and they don't have any gravy left. I told him them why was I told to come back. Over spiced 'country' sausage that even a child who eats mostly anything will not eat. Sausage 'gravy' with so much flour taste you might as well eat straight out of the bag of flour! The chicken pot pie was so hot you had to wait a very long time for it to cool down just to taste an overload of celery. I think I found two, small, cubes of chicken inside all of the liquid that tasted nothing but celery soup broth out of a Campbells soup can without being diluted by any water. Horrible service. I did a curbside order, arrived on time and waited, They delivered the food to me to the car as expected but then asked me to go inside to pay for the food. Made no sense the whole point of curbside is to not have to go inside. The overall food quality at this location isn't good enough to return. read more

For the 1st time EVER we were charged for biscuits with our meal. It took 10 minutes from being seated to being greeted by the server. She was completely inattentive and the restaurant was mostly empty, she only had 2 tables and there were many servers working at the time. The pancakes were smaller than we've ever seen them and the biscuits we paid money for were cold and dry, the eggs were overcooked. The server never asked how anything was or if we wanted more. When checking out the clerk asked how things were and I stated "you don't want to know," apparently she didn't because she said "ok.". My husband said "we won't be back." She gave no response to that other than to complete the transaction and hand us the receipt that we had to ask for. When we were leaving the restaurant an employee was standing by the door and didn't even offer to open it for us so my husband could push me out (I'm in a wheelchair), seriously?!? It should have been a sign that there are problems when you go to Cracker Barrel at prime breakfast time and it's mostly empty. We will in fact NEVER visit this location again. First let me start off .. I absolutely love Cracker Barrel biscuits but today not so much. We had 3 different plates of biscuts all cold. After the first plate I asked the waitress for some hot biscuits she replied they have some coming out of the oven and she will bring them . About 3 minutes later she returned with the biscuits (again cold but warmer than the first plate). Waitress comes back ask if they were better .. told her no they were cold as well. She then replied " I don't know why maybe the oven is broke " .. I can bring you some sourdough. I declined the sourdough of course ‍‍. She offered to get yet another plate to see if these will be hot .. she returned with more COLD biscuits. (I give up). When she came back to check on us we gave her our feedback on the biscuits and she said well maybe the oven is on low.. so we go from being broke to being on low .. I cannot make this stuff up . So for that reason alone I give them . I only came here today for some hot buttered biscuits and latte which is another long story I will not bore you with. read more

My Fiancee and I went for brunch today and food was not good and served cold. I sent mine back as my Fiancee was scared about sending his back due to stories we have heard about what some employees do in some restaurants when food is sent back. When my food came back it was the same plate, they did not even bother to make a new plate . Which I don't understand why they were so careless because place was not busy. This location is inconsistent at best one day eve thing works great the next time you go in nothing is good. First off , this is my first negative review. I only post when I have really good experiences to share. I know first hand how hard it is to work in the food industry and I am very empathetic and understanding . I have been really excited to try this new Cracker Barrel . Went for an early Thursday dinner. No crowd. Ordered chicken and dumplings. Was very disappointed to find chicken in my soupy bowl but no dumplings . Other people around had similar reactions. . The manager asked if everything was ok. He explained they were out of dumplings . Ok, no problem . I'll take a couple more biscuits. They continued to serve chicken and dumplings and people complained. I would probably tell people we are out and stop serving this plate of disappointment . Not a big deal. Moving on, I ordered a salad and tenders to go for my kids. It took an unreasonably long time, especially since it was not busy. Mike the manager has no business being a manager. He made nothing right. No customer service skills. When I asked about the to go order, it was Like I was bothering him. So completely dissatisfied an annoyed . Disappointed with my recent visit for Father's Day. The selection of breakfast meat was disappointing for a non pork eater. Our server had to help us find other alternatives which took some time- thank God she was patient with us! Pick-up is in a room smaller than my closet! There were 3 employees and 5 customers in that small space that even before COVID was uncomfortably close. Although it was beautiful weather outside, no one was asked to wait outside. AND the store policy is that contactless curbside pick-up is available only if you order online. We decided to try this restaurant because it has always been one of my favorites. We went on Friday 10/9/20 at about 11:30 am . The place wasn't that crowded surprisingly for a Friday lunchtime crowd. I ordered the Friday fish special and my partner ordered the baked catfish. Our meals came promptly. My fries we warm so I asked for hot ones . The waitress returned inn about seven minutes with hot ones. My lemonade was about the worst lemonade I have ever had..My fish was in just small pieces. It was not what I expected their fish to look like like. My partner's catfish was soggy. We had to ask for refills and they brought the coffee but we never got the cream. After waiting for about ten minutes. The waitress returned and stated you never got your cream for your coffee? We asked for our bill and left. Sad to say I am sure that it will be awhile before we ever go back there. read more

I am only trying to give a review of all of the Cracker Barrel restaurants that I have eaten at over the years. Very few locations deliver to your table what you ordered. The food is tasteless, not southern cooking at all. I keep giving them a chance, but I am over it and all of the hype about it. I am not talking about this year and how hard it has been on everyone. Everyone has suffered and doing the best that they can. This goes way back to my experiences eating at several locations throughout our Country. The only one I like is in a small town in Mount Airy, NC. That location is wonderful. The rest of the locations that I have been to are not worth trying again...get it together Cracker Barrel. People want good food, no matter what!!!!! read more
