    Moldy tomato

Waited an hour over the time they said the food would be ready. I ordered a salad & a baked potato & the rest of the food was fried & stale. Should not have taken that long. The cherry on top was that moldy tomato on my salad.

Great location for breakfast. I love eating here with my kids and grandkids. I enjoy the holiday shopping. Expect to wait for a table on the weekend. Good service and consistent food quality.

I'm a breakfast food junkie, and with limited options in West Mobile I've turned to my ol' faithfuls, Cracker Barrel being one of them! I've always have great service (although I am partial to servers with 3+ stars on their aprons) and the food is "Cracker Barrel consistent" in quality. I strictly adhere to the breakfast menu, no matter the time of day. The Uncle Hershel's breakfast, granola yogurt parfait (with an extra cup of granola), and the warm biscuits (served with strawberry jam only) are my absolute faves, always! I'm thankful for the Cracker Barrels of the USA, serving great breakfast giant checkers, and rocking chair action since-- actually, I have no idea. But, cheers anyway!

My old faithful standby order. Country Vegetable plate with green beans, macaroni, and 2 dumplings.

Cracker Barrel is my favorite restaurant and I can usually always count on it being great. Was busy and had to wait about 20 mins for a table but was probably because of staffing because were plenty of tables open. Waitress was nice and attentive. Decent value for the food. Menu selection is great and shopping while I wait is always a plus!

This place was just okay. Not the best Cracker Barrel chain but not the worst. This night I was feeling like trying out their fried chicken dinner special that they have during Thanksgiving. I wasn't super happy about the meal mainly because the fried chicken was mainly just batter... and a salty batter at that. The mashed potatoes honestly had a watery texture. The fries weren't hot and I was surprised at how warm the meal was considering the wait... just wasn't happy with my meal. Overall okay but nothing to talk about.

    Bacon and eggs hashbrowns! Yummy!

Had breakfast here this morning. I had the Old Timer's Breakfast with scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, and grits. It also came with biscuits and gravy. It was super busy, but Brieland was great! She took great care of me! Usually, with a "single", folks will put me in the back and pretty much forget about me. That didn't happen, which is a huge thing because they were so busy! Anyways, the food was great and the Mimosas were really good, too! Not a bad way to start my day!

I'd passed it a few times while driving on Airport Boulevard. I was working from home so I went there on my lunch break. When I walked inside I saw a few patrons sitting at tables. There was a a buffet style counter set up with the work staff behind it. Each of them greeted me as I walked toward the counter. I was asked what I wanted and I said thought instantly about the fried chicken I saw. I ordered that and the meal comes with three sides and cornbread as well. I chose mac and cheese, black eyed peas, and mash potatoes and gravy. The server rung me up and I took my plate to go. I can't remember the first thing I tasted when I got home. I believe it was the mac and cheese. It doesn't really matter. The sides were really good. Mac and cheese is usually my favorite side but I thoroughly enjoyed the black eyed peas. Don't get me wrong the mac and cheese was excellent but the peas were superb. The mash potatoes were creamy and the gravy was savory. The cornbread was the type that had the pieces of corn in it. I liked it. Now the main course was of course the chicken. It really looked and tasted like authentic homemade fried chicken. I loved the seasoning on the chicken. It was some of the best chicken I've had in a while. I definitely want to come back.

Because this spot is not pretending to be anything. This is full-on, unapologetic dive. And I mean that in the best possible way. You walk in and it's like the '70s, '80s, and a little bit of someone's '90s basement bar all got together and said, "Let's not change a thing." Old banquet-style tables, a bar top that feels like it's hosted a thousand stories, and walls that have clearly seen some things. I loved it immediately. Now let's talk food. The folks next to me were deep into the chicken and dumplings and talking about it like it was a life event. You know that kind of table chatter where you start reconsidering your order mid-bite? Yeah, that. I went shrimp po' boy... and no regrets. Shrimp fried just right. Crispy, flavorful, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Solid sandwich. The fries... eh, they showed up a little tired. Not terrible, just kind of there. A little cold, a little soggy, like they'd already had a long day. But here's the twist. You don't come to Judy's for perfection. You come for personality. For the feeling that you just discovered a place that doesn't care about trends, doesn't need a remodel, and definitely isn't chasing Instagram. It just is what it is... and somehow that works. Fold this into your expectations. If you need polished, keep driving. If you want real, pull up a chair. It's fun. It's different. It's got character for days. Four stars. And honestly, half the star is just for staying exactly the same all these years.

When we arrived at 6:00 every table was full including the bar on a Thursday night. Our waitress Felecia did an ok job, perhaps it was because of the 100% full, or the heat as the air-conditioning was not working and it was quite warm. Despite those obstacles, the food was tasty as always. I can not imagine how hot the kitchen was. We ordered only entrees tonight. I had the Country fried chicken with okra, coleslaw and hush puppies, I asked for the white gravy on the side and she had the pork chop with fries and broccoli. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. This place has been very good for the duration of our stay in Mobile (1.5 years). If you are traveling, this is where the locals eat, if ya know, you know. Fairwell Mobile.
