    Eggs and bacon

I don't normally go to Cracker Barrel. The only times I've really visited there were church trips or family trips. It is not a place I consider when ordering takeout. I was gifted a gift card for Christmas so I decided to test the waters. I knew I wanted breakfast food even though I was using it for dinner. When I looked at the menu the one thing that caught my eye was the Strawberry Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes. The menu picture was beautiful. I also got scrambled eggs and bacon. It was a takeout order and it didn't take long for the order to get ready. I arrived at the restaurant and it was raining a little. Luckily I did curbside pickup. It had stopped raining once the person came out with my order. When I got home I was very ready to eat. I can't remember what I tried first. That really doesn't matter. One thing I do remember was the minute I took my first bite of the pancakes. It was divine. That is not an overstatement. The cheesecake filling combined with the strawberries and pancakes was so delicious. They were some of the best pancakes I have had in my entire life. The bacon and eggs were good too but the main character was definitely the pancakes. I really enjoyed the meal.

    Moldy tomato

Waited an hour over the time they said the food would be ready. I ordered a salad & a baked potato & the rest of the food was fried & stale. Should not have taken that long. The cherry on top was that moldy tomato on my salad.

Great location for breakfast. I love eating here with my kids and grandkids. I enjoy the holiday shopping. Expect to wait for a table on the weekend. Good service and consistent food quality.

I'm a breakfast food junkie, and with limited options in West Mobile I've turned to my ol' faithfuls, Cracker Barrel being one of them! I've always have great service (although I am partial to servers with 3+ stars on their aprons) and the food is "Cracker Barrel consistent" in quality. I strictly adhere to the breakfast menu, no matter the time of day. The Uncle Hershel's breakfast, granola yogurt parfait (with an extra cup of granola), and the warm biscuits (served with strawberry jam only) are my absolute faves, always! I'm thankful for the Cracker Barrels of the USA, serving great breakfast giant checkers, and rocking chair action since-- actually, I have no idea. But, cheers anyway!

My old faithful standby order. Country Vegetable plate with green beans, macaroni, and 2 dumplings.

Cracker Barrel is my favorite restaurant and I can usually always count on it being great. Was busy and had to wait about 20 mins for a table but was probably because of staffing because were plenty of tables open. Waitress was nice and attentive. Decent value for the food. Menu selection is great and shopping while I wait is always a plus!

This place was just okay. Not the best Cracker Barrel chain but not the worst. This night I was feeling like trying out their fried chicken dinner special that they have during Thanksgiving. I wasn't super happy about the meal mainly because the fried chicken was mainly just batter... and a salty batter at that. The mashed potatoes honestly had a watery texture. The fries weren't hot and I was surprised at how warm the meal was considering the wait... just wasn't happy with my meal. Overall okay but nothing to talk about.

    Bacon and eggs hashbrowns! Yummy!

Had breakfast here this morning. I had the Old Timer's Breakfast with scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, and grits. It also came with biscuits and gravy. It was super busy, but Brieland was great! She took great care of me! Usually, with a "single", folks will put me in the back and pretty much forget about me. That didn't happen, which is a huge thing because they were so busy! Anyways, the food was great and the Mimosas were really good, too! Not a bad way to start my day!

It was a Friday night and the music was loud, you can sit at the bar or at a table. It was several people eating in. We decided on the Wings with Cajun Nawlins fries, and the Bando Nachos. The Bando has a full menu and bar. The service was great and it wasnt a long wait for the food. I asked for sour cream and salsa for the nachos and they didn't have any so I stopped by the store to get some. I was super excited to try the food. It was super salty. Everything was salty. I tried to move past it because I was so hungry but it completely dried my mouth out and I had to stop. I was really disappointed. Experience 2: 4* We had to go back and give it another try before I left and I'm so glad we did! We had brunch. I had the Chicken and Strawberry Crack Waffle and my friend had the Lamb Chops, Shrimp and Grits. Everything was so good! Big A came to greet us and we told him about our food a few nights before and he explained that the meat is marinated and they probably seasoned it again. He was very apologetic. He told today would be better and he would ensure it. The food was fresh, hot and tasty! We really enjoyed it! We also got some gumbo to go and it was really good! I would definitely return if I was in the area!

The staff was friendly and made some good recommendations including the CRACK LEMONADE (no really that's the name--and let me tell you, we were indeed addicted haha!) The food was delicious and so flavorful. I think they make everything fresh to order. Everything came out piping hot and amazing. We can't wait to go back! (Including seeing what the night life at this spot is like!)

We got lucky and found one of the few non metered spots on the street. The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but they where able to seat us promptly. The service was good. Our table ordered several items off the brunch/breakfast menu. I had the Seafood Eggs Benedict. For the most part this was a solid eggs benedict. However the shrimp were away overcooked and rubbery. They were a bit smallish and just not worth the time or charge. Hands down the best part about the dish was the Honey Ham. It was flavorful and there was a good bit included on the dish. In general it was fine, but not exactly worth the $18 it cost. Cubed Hashbrowns: I mixed bag. Every order at the table the Hashbrowns came out a bit different. Mine were undercooked and crunchy inside, I like them overcooked and crispy. Others at the table had them crunch and almost burnt. You can have them come with cheese and onions. I suggest this upgrade. Others at the table had: Eggs Cathedral: Needed salt. The same dry shrimp as the other dishes. Another dish that just did not seem to justify the cost. BLT Croissant: Was an ok looking sandwich, there was a good amount of bacon on the sandwich, however most of it was very well done. $15 Kids "Egg Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 Meat, 1 Toast. Looked fine. Spot of Tea was not a bad meal and there is good diversity to the Breakfast menu. However nothing the table had has was great, just mostly good. The Shrimp however were just bad. It seems that they are cooked in batches early in the day and added to dishes as needed. So I would personally avoid the "jumbo" shrimp dishes. Side note on the shrimp they are the same one that was added to the bloody marry cocktail. I think the biggest hang-up is the price to quality ratio. If you are in the area and want an eggs benedict you may want to give them a try. For me however I think there are better options to get full in the area.
