Finally stopped in here for dinner last night. I have been wanting to since before COVID closures. The snow crab and headless shrimp boil did not disappoint. Ordered while on vacation. Missing my beverage and utensils. The packaging of my meal was questionable. They double bagged my meal instead of placing it in a container or provide a disposable plate. I called the restaurant and they said it was not their fault and order was correct. The restaurants receipt was incorrect so yes it was their fault. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would not even have a conversation with me or did not apologize and just said to file a claim with the delivery service. You would think placing a soupy meal in a double bag that a person would need napkins, a plate, and some utensils. Nope nothing! Hard to have those things in a hotel. I'm only giving two stars because the food was very good. The wait staff however was beyond awful. The waitress rolled her eyes at us when we ordered lemon with our waters that she never brought. She was not familiar with the menu in any way. When we asked questions she just told us she had no idea how any of it was cooked. She never gave us her name even when we asked. She came to the table 4 times in total. Once to place the order, once to drop off the drinks and once to drop off the food. Our drinks were empty when she dropped off the food and we didn't get refills until she was bringing the check and we had to ask, and got another eye roll. Her attitude made us want to never return here for sure. Great food and atmosphere but if the waitress is down right rude, we won't be back. read more

Just like other Crafty Crab locations, the decor isn't to my taste, but the food is. If you're expecting small red lobster portions at lower prices, this may not be for you. But if you're looking for drippy, finger licking, delicious seafood give Crafty Crab a try. read more

Was in the mood for crab legs, but didn't want to drive the distance to my go to place for crab legs, now I wish I did. We were seated at a table that had been vacated by a previous potential patron, who left before eating. The hostess assured us they just ordered water, but with COVID-19 lurking out there we should have been seated at a sanitized table, so we sanitized it ourselves, yes, I now walk around with wipes in my bag. Our waitress was not friendly, did not try to engage any conversation, you would think that with not only a drop in dining out customers but also it being new to open she would have made an effort. Food was mediocre at best, I pay less at my regular place and feel I get more. Food was lukewarm, and the garlic butter seasoning was goopy at the bottom. I went in there today and saw a bug crawl across the table. Gross but no big deal. It was an ant. When a woman working there came up to me and asked what was wrong I said there was a bug on the table. She then turned around and walked away without saying a word and didn't back to say anything or fix anything. The waitress then came over and asked what we wanted to drink. We said water and she walked away without saying anything. We've been here before and it was good but this experience was so bad and the service was so rude we just walked out. read more

Just had dinner, party of 6, Nicole was our server. Food was brought out promptly, and hot. Several had boil bags, everyone was happy, and I'd consider my family pretty picky with seafood. It's ok I ordered the 1/2 lbs shrimp and king crab. I was disappointed the sauce wasn't that spicy and not a lot of shrimp small crab legs only 1/2 corn on the Cobb. I will be going back to the dancing crab serving size for half pound is more shrimp and larger crab legs. read more

Apparently this place has only been open for 7 weeks....Came here for dinner with my wife for dinner. She had the 1/2 lb lobster tail & 1/2 lb headless shrimp w/ garlic butter it was AMAZING! So the food was good so it's unfortunate that we won't be returning. We asked our server if one king crab leg platter was enough for my boyfriend and I (keep in mind if he told us no we had no problem getting two plates) he told us yes and told us that it would come with two clusters of crab legs... come to find out... the $30 plate of king krab legs only comes with 3 legs... I don't even believe that's a full cluster... so he misinformed us... manager seemed like he didn't want to deal with it he gave us 10% off the bill and it still came to $50 for 3 crab legs and a side of fries... way overpriced not worth it paid $50 for barely any food read more

Somehow these guys figured out how to screw up king crab legs. If you crab in your name the crab should be good and it was some of the worst crab I have ever had. I ordered their king crab boil bag with the butter seasoning and low spice/heat. The crab came covered in a sauce that was so overpowering I couldn't taste the crab. The sauce/seasoning was basically liquid salt. So much salt. Additionally the crab legs were bendy and hard to crack instead of crispy and easy to break. To make matters worse, they did not provide any crackers or any tools whatsoever to help break the crab, not even the tiny fork. I have no idea how there are multiples of this restaurant. I would give it 1 star except I really like crab legs, much like I would have a hard time giving a pizza joint 1 star. read more

It was very nice and tasty I got the BOOM sauce with the medium heat it. wasn't to hot but I wouldn't get fire heat but I would get sauce on the side it is less messy and you can control your the amount of sauce you want if it is to hot. Would go many more times and recommend you should try it out. read more

Went on a Sunday at 3:pm. Not very busy. We were seated quickly in the bar area even though there were plenty of tables in the dining room. I could write a thousand words to say how bad of an experience we had and why- but here is the short version. Bad service- wrong food order, bar tender was our waiter and was too busy to attend to us. Meanwhile there was a manager in the corner minding his own business on his computer instead of offering to help until he was the one who brought our food and had to take it back to get it corrected. Once the shrimp I ordered finally arrived, it wasn't spicy at all. I was warned that if I got fire it may be too much spice. I like spice and said bring it on. Either they didn't spice it correctly or their idea of spicy is way different than mine. Fair enough. The shrimp was good. The sausage was salty(skip it). The other 5 meals were mediocre as described to me. TL;DR- skip this place. the service, atmosphere and prices just isn't worth your time. read more

I will never come to this establishment EVER!!!! My fiancé and I have been a couple of times and always have a great experience. We went yesterday to celebrate my birthday because I had a crafty crab craving. Our server was nice a little slow because she had to work the bar as well which is understandable. My sister ordered a margarita with sugar instead of salt it came back salty with sugar. She nicely went to go change it but when she returned it had a hair in it before it even hit the table. This isn't even the worst of it. Normally my fiancé and I share the 1 lb boil with crab, shrimp boiled egg and extra corn with the fire sauce. with lemon pepper wings. The place was not busy and it was seeming to take forever. The bag finally gets here shortly after the wings and not only are the crabs cold, the sauce was not what we ordered. now if u eat crabs you know that if they are over cooked they won't break up as easily and hard to crack so I separated them to see if they would give me fresh ones. They did not. It gets even worse after getting home I opened the bag to see that they also took some of the crabs out!!!!. I decided to give them a call. they were saying they were new crabs.He forgot to put on the hold button and told someone "hey they found out we gave them the same crabs and that we took some out. They proceeded to say they didn't care how many reviews we wrote we will not be getting our money back. I use to love this place. I am not sure if its new staff or what but If you want great service and great food I would go to Mr. and Mrs. Krab or book me I'm a private chef. My husband I recently dined in at the Crafty Crab. The food was great, and definitely a place I would have liked to go back to. As stated we enjoyed the food. However while we were dining they switched the music to rap. It changed our relaxing dinner into an irritating one when the foul language in the music started. I didn't appreciate hearing lyrics with the word "bitch" over and over. I mentioned this to our server (super nice person). She apologized and said we were the second people to complain about it but she'd told the manager and he didn't do anything about it. When we finished our meal she asked if I'd like to speak to the manager. He came out and I voiced my complaint. His reply was that they let the patrons choose the music so next time we could request something else. Since he'd already had a complaint before ours and our server had earlier mentioned she had been unable to have the manager change the music I believe the manager lied to us. The service here is horrible . I came with a party of 9 for my Birthday and we waited for 30 minutes to get our drinks . Which I might add the menu only at had one page in it the other page was removed . The one drink menu that we did receive had drinks crossed out on them . The machine to make iced drinks was not working , which I was surprised being that they just opened . When we ordered food we was informed they had no ceaser dressing . We had to wait longer for the alcohol beverages and when received them they looked nothing like the picture, the glasses was smaller . By this time we have been there for an hour with no refills . We informed them that we no longer want to eat at this restaurant and can we get our bill for our drinks. The manager (Doug) came over and asked what was the problem we informed him that we have been waiting for over an hour . The drinks was not was the smaller than pictured , he informed us that the drink menu is a training menu so the pictures are not of the actual drinks and that we have to pay for the food we ordered (that still hasn't made it to the table yet) before we can leave . After he walked away from the table we was left to figure out what our drink bill was and went to the Dancing crab around the corner read more
