Stopped by here before our concert. Happy we did! Service: amazing! They just started serving on sunday so it was empty when we got here. The hostess, a nice older woman, greeted us and sat us down. She was super sweet and friendly. She even helped plate our food.Some ppl don't like that but we didnt mind. Made it feel like eating at a family members house. Food: delicious. We got the short ribs,fried rice, steamed egg and the spicy wings and fried pot stickers on the house(ate before we got a pic lol). The ribs were definitely the star of the show. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. The wings were crispy with a good amount of spice. The fried rice and egg paired well with the meat choices we made. Went here because of the high ratings in Yelp. bought the 12 pieces bone in wings plus kimchi rice. After tax i find them a little bit expensive. The food was fantastic. Its taste speaks to its own authenticity. The owner is the sweetest lady ever, often coming over to converse with us and make sure we had enough banchan (side dishes). Lovely environment overall. You can really tell they pay attention to their service when you receive your drink and the top of the straw is still covered by the wrapper (hygienic!)--it's the small details that count. Note that the door has a tint that makes it look as if the restaurant is not open. If the "open" light-up sign is on, then I highly encourage you to go right ahead! You won't regret it. read more

Will not go back! Food is not worth your money. When I asked why I'm being charged so much she said they have a new menu because their new owners. And they said the yelp menu is not up to date but it is it has the new menu and old menu. Veggies ramen had little to no veggies and the chicken ramen and little to no chicken. Wow our server was super friendly I mean REALLY FRIENDLY and sweet!! The dishes we had were really delicious and tastes really homemade! Food came out in timely manner, we didn't wait long. She treated my young son as if as he was his own grandchild, I almost thought she was going to feed him too lol!!! She poured soup in his bowl, scooped rice in it and poured his water in his cup! Right from the moment I called to place my order, the guy who I spoke to was very friendly, gave me an estimate of 10 minutes for my items to be ready, which gave me enough time to drive there. My family and I visited this place on a cold evening and we were the only customers when we visited. My sons and I all ordered Ramen and my husband ordered the bulgogi. If it wasn't for their other items and I had only ordered the seafood ramen, this review would have been a 1 star review. The ramen was a packaged ramen w tasteless seafood items, I would have been better off making top ramen at home. It tasted like ramen and seafood boiled in water w no flavor. I do not recommend the seafood ramen at all. However, my sons said the pork ramen was okay and they would also choose top ramen at home over what they ate. On a positive note, their chicken is the bomb! Very crispy, very tasty and huge chicken wings. The chicken definitely deserves a 5 star rating. I definitely would like to come back to try other options, but I will never get the ramen again. The staff seems extremely friendly and make you feel welcomed, the downfall for me is the location, it's too far away for a chicken craving. This is my absolute favorite place to get Korean food in Bakersfield. Any time my sister and I get a chance to "treat ourselves," we KNOW this is our first go-to. The food is so freaking good! They have so many tempting dishes to choose from, but it's a struggle to decide on choosing something new or sticking with out favorites. And if you love soup, the dumpling and rice cake soup is a must! We keep ordering it despite the weather, and you know it's good if you're willing to brave soup in the summertime! My other all-time favorites are the fried tofu in garlic sauce and the cheese tteokbokki, along with the banchan. The owner is super welcoming and always kind, and the ambience is nice enough that you can bring a group of friends to talk chisme and eat. I am so excited about this place on the East side of Bako! When we first arrived, we received a friendly greeting from the owner. She made several suggestions and asked us if it was our first visit. My friend and i are always committed to trying new small businesses in Bakersfield. Especially ones that serve unique dishes! We couldn't help but be curious about this Korean foodie joint! I was so thrilled to find this restaurant after having the worst meal ever at a beloved Chinese restaurant in town. I really wanted Korean fried chicken and I normally would need to drive an hour to Fresno (BonChon) but heard about this spot which is a 30 min drive! Ordered the sweet chili sauce 12 piece chicken (they could only in flats) and an order of the soy garlic chicken. Comparing the soy garlic chicken to BonChon's, I would say the flavor is not the same. Crazy BBQ's tastes like regular fried chicken to me. I really did enjoy the sweet chili sauce flats though! When the dish was served, the owner mixed it up for us at the table. You can tell how much pride they have in the food. It was delicious and I felt guilt free! We also ordered the garlic wings. I cannot put into words how good they were. The exterior was extra crispy, the meat cooked perfectly. The garlic honey sauce was addicting. I have no tolerance for spicy.
