Crazy Burger has been a regular first choice for years. The menu is diverse, eclectic, and never fails to satisfy. The burgers, either vegetarian, beef, or "other" (including such things as salmon, lamb, and of course turkey) are the main attraction, each with different wrap/rolls/buns, but there are other delights that can't be forgotten. Let's start with the sides. Yes, the side dishes. The Bankok Slaw is a gingery asian take on cole slaw. Fresh, aromatic, wonderful. Sweet potato fries themselves are always worth the trip. Oh, Jess and Matt mentioned the homemade ketchup, but let's revisit that. They make their own ketchup. If you think that's not a big deal, imagine ketchup that is fresh, cool, almost a smooth salsa, vs the industrial-salty sludge we've been accepting all these years. It's sublime. The ketchup is sublime. Really. That could be the entire review, you could extrapolate the rest. Except that then I wouldn't be able to mention the Key lime pie. Oh... My... God! Just get it. So the other thing is that Crazy Burger could be a stand-alone juice bar and be an amazing place. The ingredients and preparation are tops. Oh, and the wait staff is the best. It's also the best breakfast place for 100 miles. In fact, since Pepper's and now Wiley's are closed, I can't think of another place like it. I love this place! They have so many vegan options on the their breakfast and dinner menus. The place is on the cozy side. They have mismatched cloth napkins and varying plates designs. There's whimsical deco hanging from the ceiling. They have an outdoor eating area that is heated in the winter time. They don't offer off street parking but it's usually not too bad finding a spot. They have a unique menu that caters to all, carnivores, vegans, and those with a gluten free diet. My favorite "burger" is the poco loco burger. It comes in a wrap instead of a bun and is Mexican inspired. Today I went for brunch and had yummy vegan pancakes, scrambled tofu, and home fries. I wanted to post a covid update for this spot! We went just as mask restrictions were being relaxed and no staff I saw were wearing masks. You can make of this whatever you would like, but I was fairly uncomfortable. We also didn't receive an alert that our food was ready so I went in when I assumed it was done and found our food pretty cold, so that was kind of a bummer. Not a huge decrease in quality though! I have to say Crazy Burger might be one of my favorite places to eat in Rhode Island, that is if you can ever get in. It's always busy!! I can't vouch for their breakfast-- I'm sure it's very good as the place is always packed! I love this place because there are so many options for everyone! If you want to chow down on an animal-- go ahead! If you want to stuff your face with some vegan grub-- there are options for you too! And don't worry, those options taste DELICIOUS!! I've never had one of their "real" burgers as I don't eat red meat. If you have a party mixed with animal product consumers and non-animal product consumers this place has you covered for a tasty meal! My husband eats just about anything and we both ordered vegetarian, I think even vegan burgers at our last lunch. They were delicious! The pickle was really good too. We ordered the (copied straight from menu) QUINOA VEGAN BURGER, BIRDIE MAE BURGER. I think the Birdie Mae had a sweeter flavor brought out by the tempeh. It was really good. Solid place to eat. I've had friends that don't love it... It's a definite hippie joint but if you don't mind that they have good food. A month or two ago, my fiance and I decided to take a random drive to Narragansett. I looked online for some vegan friendly dishes and found Crazy Burger. The place itself is super cute! Very homey decor. We came on a Saturday night. Now, it is a small place so there was a wait. There were 4 people in front of us, but we still were seated within 20-30 minutes, which I didn't think was bad for a packed, small place. I was stoked to see they had vegan milkshakes on the menu, so I tried chocolate. My fiance loves smoothies, so he tried one. He loved it so much, he ordered a second flavor to try as well. We each ordered burgers, mine vegan, his beef. They were delicious! I love how there were SO many options for burgers, not just for meat-eaters, but for vegans as well. Crazy Burger is an RI institution & after 1 horrible experience there I've come around to being a big fan. Yes, I drink a lot of beer & eat lots of burgers. If you didn't already know Crazy Burger is BYOB. Bring a growler from nearby Whalers Brewing Co or a bottle from home! When I don't have a beer with me I always go with a vanilla milkshake which IMO is better to pair with burgers than beer! I usually opt for whatever special burger they are offering that day. Compared to the other burger spots I'm fans of it seems the cooks at Crazy Burger put a lot of effort into coming up with something new & creative every time I'm there. Not every burger has been off the charts awesome but I give them credit for trying something different. More than usual I'm very satisfied. Ingredients are always fresh & the meat is superb. Fries are definitely good but not as memorable as the burgers. I can't comment much on any other food items than burgers but know that my son enjoys the items he's had (chicken fingers, grilled cheese & hot dog.) The only drawback to Crazy Burger has to be parking & the wait. It is quite popular especially in the summertime so expect a wait. There's a cool little gift shop & 2 art galleries next door to peruse while waiting for a seat. Check them out if you're in the area. I love crazy burger. It's hipster/vegan/eclectic craziness and I love all of it. This time... had the calamari special. So much garlic, tomato and capers! I told my little 3 year old friend that the capers were squid eyeballs and she gobbled them up. HA! smarter than a 3 year old! Next up....the lamb burger. So good but lacking salt for my taste (I love salt) We were a group of 11 and although a bit cramped, they accomodated us perfectly. Service was fast and efficient as always. My fiancé and I vacation in Narragansett every year, and we finally made it to Crazy Burger. There's always a long wait especially for breakfast on the weekends. Went went around 11:30 for lunch so no wait...."Yay". However, to my fiancé delight they serve breakfast until 4:00pm double win! The interior of the restaurant could use a good good cleaning but the most important thing is the food right? I decided to order the Whassupy Burger with a sesame fennel wasabi rub, featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. The burger was good the Brie and the fried onion rings complemented it well. My sweet potato fries on the other hand were burnt so couldn't eat any of it. My fiancé decide to get the Cinnamon Roll French Toast that was so yummy!! It wasn't too sweet but perfect even without syrup. He also order a side of home fries way better than the sweet potato fries. The homemade ketchup was good but just not my fiancé cup of tea, he's a Heinz man all the way!!! We'll definitely be back for breakfast, burgers are good but I've had better. In my opinion, this lunch stop alone is worth the drive to Narragansett. They have one of the most incredible drink menus I have ever seen. A must-visit in the summertime! We had the frozen strawberry lemonade (YUM) and watermelon juice (which no joke tastes like you are drinking straight out of a watermelon!) I recommend you sit on the patio. Rude unfriendly welcoming wait staff. the kicker at the end of the meal when the waitress came back with the bill we told her there was a random entree on the bill that we had neither ordered nor received, rather than apologize the the women had the gall to challenge us. Fun bit of Narragansett culture. Tiny, long waits but worth it for burgers or brunch. Skip the soup - chowder was gummy and mostly potatoes, kale soup had almost no taste or seasoning both were barely warm when delivered to our table - had to send back to heat appropriately. Overall I enjoyed my experience here the service was good and the burgers are juicy, delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Whassuppy Burger and it was cooked perfectly however, they had forgot the wasabi-chipotle mayo. After they brought the mayo i added it to the burger, overall the burger was tasty but nothing over the top. Lastly, I was disappointed in how little fries they served me. My wife And I were down at the beach and we wanted lunch so we decided to stop in here for a Burger. The Yelp reviews look great and my wife had been here before so we decided to try it. Every Burger on the menu has carmelized onions, pretty weird. I decided just to get a bacon cheeseburger medium rare and the homemade sweet potato fries. My wife got a Burger bowl which she liked but she ordered her Burger medium and it came out well done. I ordered my bacon cheeseburger medium rare and a came out well done also. I feel that if you're a Burger place you should be able to make a Burger right the 1st time period it took forever for the Burger to come out and even longer for the way dress to come and ask me how my food was when she noticed I did not eat at after 20 minutes. She was super nice and took the Burger off the bill and offered to get me another one but I did not wanna wait another 20 minutes for a Burger. Maybe next time I will just get breakfast because all of that look great. Just disappointed in my Burger because well done is very far from medium rare. read more

This is hands down the best burger place in Rhode Island. Crazy burger has an array of meat patties, vegetarian patties and super delicious vegan patties. I consider myself an avid meat eater and find myself gravitating to the vegan poco loco and birdie Mae, and mushroom risotto burgers. I try to get something new every time and I love everything I try here. The potato hash and in house made veggie and fruit juice is a MUST! There is also a house made ketchup that is sweeter yet more tomatoey which is perfect for the sweet potatoes fries. And for the people who like to get real relaxed you may bring your own booze for a small 5 dollar per table fee or add purchase a shot of cbd to add to your beverage- I usually add mine to a customary juice blend. And if you're in the mood for brunch - YES QUEEN A BRUNCH BURGER JOINT WITH SOME TRADITIONAL OPTIONS- you can opt for traditional seating inside on colder days (bring a coat though it tends to get chilly with people going in and out) OR SUPER FAIRY GARDEN BACK PIRCH SEATING VIBES. Watched an episode of diners , drive ins and dives. Saw this place and figured I'd give it a try. My daughter had a vegan option and loved it. I myself had the Luna sea burger a salmon Pattie with pistachios wrapped in phylo dough. Being a chef for 30 years this sounded interesting. I'm very open to new ideas. It came out and looked very good. Well garnished. It was when I took the bite is when I noticed the first issue. It was a million degrees.. (obviously microwaved) . I continued on and couldn't eat one piece because the microwave had turned it into a stone. I did point it out to our waitress. The vibe is beachy & artsy inside with lanterns & lights hanging all over the place, but it was smaller than I thought judging by the outside. I ordered a basic breakfast with a pancake. The food was so good and I did BYOB(mimosas) that taking a picture didn't even cross my mind. I went on a Saturday in early June and had to wait 30 min around 11am. I'm sure the wait time will increase as it gets closer to summer.
