This is by far the worst burger I have ever had in my 36 years of life. I frequent Narragansett often and after yesterday, I will never visit this dump again. Whoever is reading this do not waste your money at this establishment. I asked for a burger medium well that was burnt to a crisp, when I took the first bite, A massive amount of grease squirted out burning my face. You get one very small size piece of lettuce and a mushy expired tomato. And let's not even talk about the fries. They were cold,Very mushy, and the homemade catcs disgusting. A super tiny cute little place with outside seating in the back. The food was pretty good, a little pricey but good. I got a frozen raspberry lemonade for like $5 but it was amazing!!! Would definitely go back again especially for the lemonade. The only downside is that the food was extremely greasy which would have been fine if they had napkins. As a Rhode Island native, this is an electic, fun spot that I had never been to. We stopped in for lunch on our way down to the Block Island Ferry (only about 5 minutes away). It's a cute little spot, with a great outdoor covered patio in the back. They have a wide variety menu, with vegan options, burgers, salads and sandwiches. They also specialize in fresh pressed juices as well. I went with the kale salad with salmon, and my husband tried the poco loco vegan burger with tempeh. It's served in a pressed tortilla and is a delicious mixture of black rice, black beans, onions and peppers too. Service was great, food quality was outstanding, and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely stop in next time I'm in Rhode Island! read more

A popular local spot and I can see why. Party of 11 waited about 1/2 hour to be seated. Food was quickly prepared and tasty. This is BYOB and a bit pricy but worth it at least once. New England clam chowder again and not disappointed. Also got the Moo Moo Melt and it was DELISH! Onions weren't overwhelming, the sandwich was tasty. My brother-in-law had the wings and felt the sauce was very spicy for mild. Homemade ketchup was very sweet. Two things could use adjustments: took too long for the check (about 10 minutes) and for our party of 11 including 2 kids meals and a comped meal for our nephew who plays for the Ocean State Waves had a total cost of +$130 with tip for 8 paid meals and sodas. For a diner type restaurant cost is a bit too much but they are obviously very successful. Overall a GREAT experience and everyone left satisfied. read more

It was so so. I had a vegan burger with fries and a coffee. Coffee was great, burger was tasteless and fries were good. My order came out waaaaayyyy too hot. I had to wait a good five minutes for it too cool. Service was kind of crappy. I didnt realize they had a patio and I wasnt given the option to sit there - people who came in after me were. The waitress didnt check on me, I had to go hunt for napkins. They didnt seem too knowledgable about the food either... so the service was kind of a turnoff. I have been hearing amazing things about Crazy Burger for years and I have to say after my experience I will never order from them again. We placed our phone order and arrived to pick up our food when told. I paid and was told the drinks will be just another minute. Twenty minutes later I asked where they were and was told "it didn't go through" and would be about five more minutes. This alone while annoying I can understand but when we got back with our food they also gave us completely wrong order. I called to see if there was anything could be done and the young man put me on hold and eventually hung up. I will never come here again and make sure no one I know does again either. read more

I got a goofy gorgonzola burger and house made fries. Fries were a little limp, but they were still very tasty. They served the burger on an english muffen. They made my burger exactly like i asked. Medium rare, a warm pink center and even a little bit singed on the outer edges. There was nice artwork displayed on the walls. I didn`t get any but they offer nitro cold brew iced coffee. They have regular burgers and vegan burgers, milkshakes and vegan shakes and my favorite part was the homemade ketchup, it tasted like you were eating a tomato. read more

Mmmm mmm mmm burger goodness!! I think this was my favorite meal in Rhode Island. I ordered the works burger and Gorgonzola burger, both were cooked perfectly and freaking delicious! Also most importantly the fries were done perfect! Crunchy outside and meaty fluffy potato on the inside. I loved the burgers, they have all kinds of crazy combinations and concoctions. I've been here a handful of times over the last few years for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of their meals are amazing and I especially like how they offer some HEALTHY choices because it's not too often you can go out to eat and make smart choices! The juices are delicious and my all time favorite meal is the coconut crusted chicken on top of fresh greens and served with avacado! On the down side, it's definitely a better place for a small party, when I go there with 2-4 people we have excellent service but with any more the wait or isn't very attentive and seating can be horrible. They really need to take reservations and I think their business would do better. All in all, eat here with a friend or two and you will not be disappointed! read more

We were very excited to come here because they have many veg/vegan menu items. As is the case with many restaurants, the vegan items were just fair. The magic green soup had very little flavor, completely underwhelming. The vegan mushroom burger was decent although small. The accompanying slaw was lukewarm with fake ginger flavor, not appealing! Fries were good and the kale salad was simple, but fresh and delicious. The place itself is cute and very busy. We found the service uneven. Crazy Burger is an absolute staple and must try in Narragansett. It's always been a go-to favorite of ours while in college, and continues to remain as our old haunt even with our growing family. I don't know how this is possible, but we have actually never been to Crazy Burger before for breakfast. Today transformed breakfast restaurants for us and we know we'll be back many more times for the delicious options. We tried a few different tasty plates: The BLT was the BEST I have ever had. The bacon was so fresh and delicious, and had a perfect blend of mayonnaise, and fresh LT (with gluten free bread as an option - which was one of the best GF breads I have ever had). The Mexi-burrito was equally delicious. Fresh avocado, with a perfect blend of eggs, beans, and cheese topped with a zesty salsa. The home fries were "supreme" according to my husband. The multigrain pancake was "GOOD!" according to my 2-year-old, which included a good sized portion of scrambled eggs, toast, and home fries. The Mexi-Tofu dish was interesting, but will not be a repeat favorite for me. The flavors of salsa, beans, avocado blended nicely with the tofu portion, but it just needed a little something extra (maybe salsa on the side? Other spices?). It came with home fries (which as stated before were some of the best!) and toast. A bit of carb overload! Overall, Crazy Burger does not disappoint in terms of food. Service is fast and efficient. And you can't beat the location: playground right next door in case of a bit of a wait, and of course Narragansett Beach right down the street for a little after meal stroll. A Freaky Fajita Burger that has chicken, avocado, salsa and other yumminess all inside a tasty tortilla? It was like a party in my mouth! (yeah I said it) To top it off, there's home made fries, unique cole slaw, vegetarian burger options and some other non-burger stuff on the menu...but I'm not sure how you could resist getting a burger. The restaurant is simple with some funky decor (including christmas lights). The servers are friendly and efficient. Don't come here if you're in a rush though..and during peak hours in the summer, there's likely to be a wait for a table...and with good reason. read more

Cozy, eclectic and fresh. I have fond memories of Crazy Burger and made it back there for the first time in years this past weekend and not much has changed. Crazy burger serves all freshly made in house patties for their burgers whether it be beef, chicken, tuna, lamb or all veggies! They offer an abundance of gluten free and vegan options, included vegan carrot cake which is to die for! Unfortunately they were out this weekend, but I guess I'll just have to go back! The restaurant also serves fresh juice and smoothies made to order in any combination of ingredients you'd like. However it is BYOB. I saw a couple tables with bottles of champagne for their brunch which I thought was a cute idea! So we went for lunch on a Saturday and it was packed! I had hoped the winter wouldn't be very busy but I was wrong. Their entry is tiny and since it was about 20 degrees out we were all trying to pack ourselves inside getting blasted with cold air every time the door opened. Not very pleasant. We were then seated at the counter top area and the stools were super wobbly and there was no where to put my purse besides the ground. They may want to invest in some hooks under the counter. We also continued to get hit with cold air throughout the meal. We both ate with our winter coats on. Brrrrrr! All that being said the service was super friendly and our burgers were wonderful. I got the Gorgonzola burger on a bolo roll and my boyfriend got the chicken fajita burger which came in a grilled tortilla. The sweet potatoes fries were phenomenal (fresh made in house and seasoned to perfection). My poundies however were cold and bland. Normally, when I visit a spot featured on "Diners,, Drive Ins and Dives" I end up immediately understanding why the place was featured. I didn't get that vibe visiting Crazy Burger. During my meal I kept asking myself why this place wasn't impressing me and at the end I found the answer: TV made the food at this spot look better than it really is. Now the food is not terrible by any means, but when I order a burger here I'm expecting something really special. Even though I'm not always a fan of craft burgers I can usually find one to try. Not the case here. The available choices just didn't match up with what I like for ingredients. (Note: they do have non-beef options such as veggie, lamb or turkey available) Instead, I went with a build your own burger with the toppings I like, namely bacon, mushroom and cheddar jack. It was a good burger but not great. And that was my issue. Guy Fieri chose this place and it only seemed average? I was disappointed. I also didn't like the fact that the burgers are served on something called a bolo. When I set out for a burger I want it served on a sesame or brioche bun. The burger itself was cooked to order but it just wasn't anything special. I've definitely had better. I did, however, really like the fresh cut fries that accompanied the burger. Very fresh and not at all greasy. These were a big winner. I guess I probably needed to be a local and not a visiting tourist in order to appreciate this place. The problem is because of the Fieri show, they get mobbed with tourists. I hope their experiences are different from mine because other than the disappointment of the burgers there is a lot to like here in terms of breakfasts, diversity of the menu, etc. read more

After a morning at the beach with some friends, we headed to Crazy Burger for lunch. I had heard really great things over the years (it had also been featured on the Food Network before), but hadn't managed to actually get my butt here, so we finally planned on going this time around. We got a little lost, but that was probably our fault :) I opted for their Loco Burger, which features a beef burger, black beans, avocado, and cheddar cheese, grilled into a flour tortilla and topped with salsa. It was like a cross between a burger and a burrito. I loved it! It satisfied the Mexican food craving I always seem to have (and who doesn't love avocados?!), balanced with a juicy, meaty burger cooked exactly as I had requested. Perfection! I look forward to trying some of their other "crazy" burger creations :) Definitely a stand out burger joint with a LOT more than just burgers! Love it!!! Well, I had no real issue with the food. My Lamb burger was good, the coleslaw was to die for, and the Freshly squeezed lemonade is to die for. In fact, if I'm ever near Crazy Burger again, you can bet I'm walking out with a lemonade. My main issue is the waitstaff. They are plain out rude, and they will give you an attitude if you tell them something is wrong. Long story short, I ordered a Ginger Lemonade, with not too much sugar, and light ice. On the Menu is says the drinks are made with simple sugar, and fresh squeezed fruits. Also you can order it "Iced" or blended. I picked to have mine over Ice. Sue me for making such a simple request. My drink came out blended, and I stated that I ordered it "iced", the girl gave me an attitude and stated that the waiter told her it was blended. I then had to state sternly that I made it clear that I wanted " Lite Ice, light sugar." Our Waiter brought it back when they "remade it", and it still had a horrid amount of ice. I kept it, being a good sport ( That and my Co-Workers were giving me the evil eye, because they feared getting spit in their food. ) Later I decided to order another lemonade -- Hey! I wasn't paying and I was allowed to spend $20 of our company's money. I was then told by our waiter that they were out of "Ginger", and that they could not do "light sugar". ... Then why didn't he tell me that before? Really you can't do light sugar when the drink is made with simple sugar? He seemed to think that would stop me from ordering another Lemonade. Big F-bomb to you buddy, I ordered a Pineapple Lemonade. So ..THERE. When my Lemonade came out, he stated " I hope that is good enough for you. " Yeahh. .. Needless to say, If I was the one tipping, I would have issued a big shiny penny for his tip, he was that much of a jerk--and I believe in dropping big tips. Oh well One major issue I had with the place ( Mostly because I'm Food Safety certified ), is that in order to get out to the Porch to sit and eat, you have to walk through the Kitchen . Unique, creative, inexpensive and TASTY. But BUSY and first come, first served. There's no making reservations and since there are only about seven tables, you need to get pretty lucky with the timing or you won't get seated right away. There's always the counter and outside, if it's nice out (in RI? Yeah right...). I had a bourbon burger (burger with mushrooms and onions cooked in bourbon) and my girl had a loco burger (burger with black beans in the meat, served in a soft tortilla with guacamole instead of cheese), both were tasty! It's pretty hard to choose, the homemade ketchup and sweet potato fries are recommended as well. Overall a great place with good service and something you can't just get anywhere. Waiting 55 minutes to be seated when a restaurant is not at full capacity isn't a good way to begin the dining out experience. Just sayin'. In regards to the actual service, I find myself in agreement with the Yelpers who felt this area could be improved. The server I had, got my side order wrong. This person quickly dropped the food on the table, and then, wordlessly vanished before I could utter a single syllable. Rather than wait for the obligatory "how is everything" moment to mention the mistake, (which never occurred, as the server only returned once ... to hand me the bill), I just rolled with it, and ate what I was given. The food itself? Better in theory than in taste. The Whasuppy burger was surprisingly flat tasting for something containing horseradish, and garlic. Ordered the Whassupy Burger (ground beef spiced up intensely with a combination of horseradish, garlic & Worcestershire sauce, topped with Brie cheese & home-made red onion rings & served on a whole wheat bun & side of wasabi-chipotle mayo). The beef itself was okay, the sauce was good, and the brie is what made it stand out. We also ordered the strawberry grape smoothie which was refreshingly good. This place offers up very tasty burgers and other sandwiches. There jalapeno burger with spicy mayo and sweet potato fries is a sure hit. The service is generally good, but it can be hit or miss when they are super busy. The vibe is definitely diner style and a bit noisy. Guy Fieri of Diners Drive-ins and Dives visit along with local popularity has made this place too busy and hence wait times in the summer can be a drag. Let me start by saying that if this review was based solely on the food, I would have rated this restaurant 5-stars, however, as with any dining experience, I believe the service factor is equally as important. When we arrived, it seemed they were pretty busy. We were told there was approximately a 10 minute wait for the 2 of us which we had no problem with. While waiting another man was asked if his party would like to be seated on the patio. Since it was a very cold day in January, the man asked if it was warm enough out there, to which the hostess replied "yes, very warm." After about 3 minutes we too offered a table in the outdoor patio. After being escorted through the kitchen, we found ourselves seated in the "outdoor patio". The summertime patio area was transformed into an all-weather patio with a couple metal gazebos and thick plastic sheeting to enclose the area. The patio was then heated by several propane heaters, which made it extremely warm in some areas but was still very drafty in others. Not to mention, I'm not sure the set-up was exactly safe.... After being seated by the hostess with menus and water, we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to even come to take our order. I'm sure this was partially because our table was nested behind some of the propane heaters and wasn't the easiest to get to. After placing our drink and food order together (didn't want to risk another 10 minute wait to place the food order), it took over 5 minutes just to get our OJ. The OJ was delivered by someone other than our waitress, so we kindly reminded them that we had ordered coffee as well. Our waitress then came out with our coffee and placed in on the table with somewhat of an attitude. I wouldn't mind that the coffee took awhile, however, by this point we were quite cold. The "very warm" patio was warm in some areas, yet very cold in others. My head was directly under the heater and it felt like my hair was on fire, while my feet were frozen. When a high wind would come through, you could feel the draft and it seemed to affect the other tables as well. No one at any of the 6+ small tables in the patio area was getting up and leaving or causing a stir, but everyone seemed a bit annoyed. I really don't think Crazy Burger should be putting people out in the patio area on cold winter days, and furthermore, they should be honest and not telling patrons that it's "very warm". From here on out, the service was OK. Our food came out perfect and the Chicken Marsala burger that I got was prepared perfectly. I would definitely return and would recommend Crazy Burger because of their unique menu and delicious food. I would however go in with low-expectations for the service, and above all, I would never recommend to sit in the patio area in the middle of winter... wait for a booth or table in the restaurant area. read more

I am spending the weekends in Narragansett this summer. I frequently visit Crazy Burger with my boyfriend and friends. After watching Crazy Burger on 'Diners, Drive ins, and Dives' on the Food Network and hearing my friends rave about their coffee concoctions with little personal cookies, I decided to try it out. I have tried their Luna-Sea Salmon Burger. It was wrapped and baked in Filo Dough--it was amazing! Sweet potato fries are crispy. For breakfast, I always get the Eggs Benedict with flavorful house fries and their house made ketchup (which my boyfriend pours on every individual bite). If you order a main entry, you receive a juice made from scratch. They're completely fresh--especially the staple OJ. While they're pretty strict with table seating (your entire party has to be present), the staff is super friendly. One particular waitress remembered my boyfriend and my orders only after being there twice. She also remembered that my boyfriend liked an iced tea to go at the end of the meal (she had it ready for us without asking). The outdoor seating is quaint and there are some super interesting wild flowers/plants growing under the tent. Watch out if it is raining though. My boyfriend's dad got drenched from the a huge puddle of water that leaked through the tent. Crazy Good!! read more

This is what I ate and would definitely recommend. The "whassuppy" burger is phenomenal. It is ground beef coated with a sesame- fennel-wasabi rub and topped with melted brie and homemade red onion rings on a whole wheat bun. Never had a better burger in my life. My side was the "poundies " which are Irish garlic mashed potatoes with spinach, carrots and basil "pounded" in. Also phenomenal. All ingredients are fresh and the dishes are made from scratch. At breakfast I had a breakfast quesadillia with turkey sausage. Delicious. Also be sure to try the home made ketchup and the wasbi-chipotle mayo. Pleasant and professional wait staff. read more

Favorite: Birdie Mae Burger. A mix of many things not normally found on a burger and tastes like none of them, it's simply unique. Always get a side of sweet potato fries and pear/cucumber/ginger juice (expensive, but it's freshly juiced). Other great items: Freshly made soups, had an avocado soup that was amazing. Homemade pickles and ketchup are tasty. Greek burger (I forget the name, but it's made of lamb). Go Nuts burger. Salmon burger. I tried to get through the whole menu, but I love the Birdie Mae Burger too much :). Entrees are the only expensive part of the menu, so I don't usually go there, but had a birthday coupon for a free entree and ordered one.
