This place is on an odd side street away from any business district. It'd be a death location for any fast food joint that wasn't the best you'd ever been to. This one's pretty much consistently busy. People go out of their way for it. The only possible complaint is for "fast food" it isn't often fast, they do get backed up because of the popularity. They do take phone calls in advance however, so you can get around having to stand there for ten to twenty minutes. Although the customer base is friendly so that hanging out in the parking lot together waiting for your order can actually be fun if it's a nice warm night (if it's a rainy day then everyone sits in their cars). There's no inside seating so you eat in your car or take it home; we usually take it home. As vegetarians there's not a lot of choices for us but it's right in our neighborhood and the place charms the hell out of us so we kind of love it. Honestly really disappointed my boyfriend has hyped this place up for months now so we finally decided to stop we ordered 4 burgers and only got 3 of the 4 on top of that we ordered parm fries and onion rings the o rings were really good! But the fries beyond terrible they weren't hot and they tasted either stale and hard or like they were just cooked to a crisp. I also got myself a hot dog which was missing the majority of the condiments and my burger bun was sopping and gross. I'm 5 months pregnant and this was supposed to be my lunch while we're on a busy day working I cried over the hotdog just to be disappointed about my burger being no good and the other burger missing. Locally owned and operated Crazy Erics has been around this area for years; they have a few locations; Belfair just off hwy 3, National ave Bremerton and has a location at th Kitsap County fairgrounds and rodeo. the food is ok and price is comparable to the product, not too bad! favorite is the onion rings, shakes and a taco salad! the locations are small and parking is cramped and hardly any seating to speak of, except of course the fairgrounds, duh! I give them a three star for dedication to the community and keeping a "old style burger joint" popular. read more

All of us liked them. The fries: I don't know if this is a NW thing, but garlic/parm fries are a pretty common thing up here. The first time I tried them was at Century Link stadium during a Seahawks game. They were ok at the stadium, but cost an arm/leg/First Born (Sorry little Mikey, daddy loves you). At Eric's I didn't have to pawn any offspring for fried potato shavings. They were crisp and nicely seasoned. The garlic was not enough to be offered gum every 10 seconds and the parm was not turned to black specks of charcoal (or as I like to call them when I do it "Cajun seasoning") My son and I devoured almost the entire family size portion (Hey, we are growing boys!!) while my wife and daughter did not take to them as well. Crazy Eric's is a place that is to be experienced. It is a place to take your wife and kids on a rainy night and thrill them with tales of how you beat the Legend of Zelda with only 1/2 heart container left and how great crystal Pepsi tasted. This place is SO far from good. We were shocked cause all the reviews made it sound great. There were boxes of Foster Farms frozen corn dogs and preformed hamburgers inside. I even watched the "cook" take a corn dog out of the microwave and stick it in the fryer. Super-low quality bread, limp fries, dry burger meat, sub-standard cleanliness. Sure it's cheap but once you add in the cost of Mallox and toilet paper for after the meal, it gets expensive. Terrible. $15 for a cheeseburger that was worst than McDonalds same with the BBQ trail burger. The patty was less than a quarter of an inch thick. We had the fries mixed in with 3 pcs of onion rings. Ever since my daughter and I moved up here from Southern California last July, we have been looking for a place that had really good, cheap burgers similar to a chain in SoCal called Doublz. So far, Crazy Eric's has come the closest. Theyre not quite the same (Doublz uses 1000 Island and shredded iceberg lettuce instead of ketchup, mustard, mayo and torn iceberg), but they're really good! We spent less than 8 bucks total and each had a burger, a HUGE bag of fries to share, and a 16-ounce drink for my daughter. Four stars because there's no seating available (a picnic table would be great!) and I much prefer 1,000 Island on my burgers instead of the ketchup, mustard, and mayo they use here. They do charge 15 cents apiece for "dunkin' cups" of ketchup, but with prices this low, I can't fault them for that! read more

This place is classic bremerton. The food was greasy, delicious and served with flair. It kind of reminds me of a bremerton version of Dick ' s from Seattle without all the hipsters with fake reading glasses. I haven't been to a Crazy Eric ' s in 10 years and it was just like I remembered. Terrible parking, cash only, and slow, but despite all of that I am looking forward to doing it again. This place is great the food is cheap and delicious. This is the only place besides the fair you can get a good corn dog. The big bacon cheeseburger was shockingly delicious. Although It didn't have "proper" bacon on it had Canadian bacon which was a nice subtle change. Found out they get all there meet from menders meets. Yup. Easy to give this place 5 stars. Onion rings were light and crispy...they made a loud "crunch" in your mouth. Burger was more than expected, and the milkshake was legit. Dipping sauce was their great-granny's tartar sauce recipe. (Love stories like that.) The wait took a little while...it's not fast food. Soooo worth it.
