This place deserves more than five stars. Absolutely the best donuts I've ever eaten. I walked in at 11:30 AM not expecting to get fresh donuts but they make everything to order here so incredibly fresh. Where I'm from in Texas you have to get to the donut shop at 5 AM to get donuts like this. And even then they're not this good. The staff is super friendly and they have the place decked out with all kinds of donut signs. Really neat how they've done it. read more

The breakfast bagels are sooo delicious! And the donuts are fresh and tasty, definitely over the top and photo worthy. And the coffee was decent too, plenty of flavor options. We put in a large order, and the wait took a while, which was the only downside. But at least we knew it was being made to order. Also, when we got home, we realized there was one breakfast bagel missing, but when I called them, they immediately made it right, so that was much appreciated. This is also a great place to take kids. They have a cute selfie station for both young and old at heart. For any donut fans, this place is a must! read more

Donuts aren't bad but the slow service makes this donut shop a horrible choice unless you have lots of time on your hands. This place is kind of like Duck Donuts only you don't get to see your donuts being made and it takes significantly longer to get your donuts. When they say made to order I think they mean everything is made to order not just the frying of the donuts. Horrible parking too as some AH was parked over the lines so I parked across the street. Fresh! This spot is a gem. The kids loved their freshly made hot donuts (and the 1,000 piece donut themed puzzle)! So many creative flavor options. And delicious breakfast sandwiches! I went for the bacon & egg on a gluten-free roll with a nice pour over coffee. Even had non-dairy milk. Definitely coming back! read more

We went on opening day and loved all the different donut flavor options. It reminded us a lot of duck donuts but we loved being able to support a small business. My favorites were the maple bacon and lemon lavender. The donuts were fresh and warm. The shop is quite small and we noticed some unpleasant smells perhaps drifting in from adjacent apartments. My husband described it as "bowling alley beer and smoke". We had planned on taking the donuts home to eat anyways but if you're planning on dining in I'd make note of the smell and also very limited seating. we will absolutely be back for more donuts in the future read more

Crazy Glazed is above average but I wouldn't go so far as to categorize them as special. I typically judge a donut shop on the strength of their ability to work with the classic round delight - a glazed donut. In this regard they didn't impress me. It was merely ok. The powdered sugar donut, however, was pretty good. The sugar was not too sweet and it had a simple delight kind of flavor. The dirt donut (chocolate with oreo crumbles) was also good, albeit they could have held off on topping it with a gummy worm. I am generally a gummy fan, but not on my chocolate donut. Sometimes we try to do too much and end up with overkill. But overall, I was pleased with the experience. Lastly, I should mention they are fairly expedient even though they cook them to order. I have been wanting to check out the newest donut shop in Carlisle since it opened and finally stopped. I ordered the special pumpkin cinnamon roll donut, a maple bacon and the Apple cheesecake. The shop is small with only about 3 - two seater tables. You walk up to the window and order and can wait in the dining room. It didn't take long for three donuts to be made. When I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. The donuts were on the small size (comparing to duck donuts) and the toppings were also lacking. The pumpkin cinnamon roll donut looked like a cinnamon donut and tasted that way too. No pumpkin flavor and not sure what the cinnamon roll part was? The other donuts were ok, not great. With the made-to-order donuts I was expecting them to me warm, but they were served cold. I guess my expectations are due to my experiences from Duck donuts and Fractured Prune that set my standards too high. I was really hoping this place would have been better than a chain. I can't say I will have a crazy craving for these donuts anytime soon. read more

A cross between a fresh, warm Kristen Crème and one of those fancy gourmet donuts. The best of both worlds and these were delicious. Quick service as soon as I walked in the place. Went in on a Sunday morning. First impression is that the restaurant is cute and inviting but smells like stale cigarettes and not like donuts. Their menu is easy to read and there are lots of fun flavors to choose from. We got a half dozen donuts and each was different. We very much appreciated the variety! Our donuts were tasty. They kinda fell apart and were definitely a knife and fork situation, which was fine. I was a little disappointed that they weren't served warm, especially since they were made to order. Overall we had a good experience and would probably return but would definitely do takeout instead of eating in the shop. read more
