It has been after a year since I visited this place again. And it has changed from 3 stars to a 0 star if I have an option. First of all, the chef doesn't greet you like other sushi places. He looks very stuck up. I guess if I was "white" thing might be different. But I must say, the waitress was VERY nice. As for the portion, it doesn't worth the price. I spend almost $80 and it not even enough for 2 teenagers. My wife and I end up making some cup and noodle for us. As for the quality, my kids told me never to go back to this place again. I'm a big fan of Crazy Rock'N Roll and noticed that they opened up a new location close to where I live so I decided to give it a try on my way back home from work. I love salmon so I got myself some salmon sushi and the baked salmon roll. I was a but hungry so I skipped taking the picture of the sushi but the roll looked so good that I had to take a picture. I swear I go here, like, every week. The food is always so good because they use some of the highest grades in fish. They always have good parking, all the beers and their staff are super friendly. They may not have AYCE like other places in the area, but I prefer quality over quantity and honestly it doesn't take much to fill up on sushi rolls so why not fill up on the good stuff? I went to this place for my cousins 13th birthday. I ordered a plain udon, just the broth and the noodles. I waited one hour for it. We asked the waiter when it was coming and they kept saying "5 more minutes it's cooking." It wasn't even 5 minutes, it was a whole hour for my food. Everyone's food came before mine and they had to wait until I finished my food. Other than the 1 hour wait for my udon, the udon itself wasn't even good. We decided to try this new place. Place was not super busy - I would say about half full with most of those tables being done eating. It was probably around 8:30 Ish ..we sat down and we waited and waited till we had to call the server over to take our food and drink order.. the server seemed quite confused about my order as I added stuff to the roll .. We waited for our food .. and when it arrived she forgot our drinks that we had to ask for our drinks.. and while I thought she was being our drinks she forgot that we ordered sake and so we had to ask for the sake again. Upon finish dinner it's quite frustrating when no one is paying attention we actually again had to waive someone over for the check. so this was the most annoying part for me .. she stood by our table with her back to us to wait for us to leave.. Despite the reviews, this sushi misses the mark. I went to this place expecting an experience befitting of a highly-rated sushi restaurant, but that's not at all what happened. While the sushi was okay (definitely priced like high-grade fish), it definitely wasn't of the quality I expected. This was more like grocery store sushi with low or mid-grade fish at an exaggerated price. The overall feel was decent; the restaurant was mostly clean (with the exception of the bathrooms), but it failed to deliver in general. The worst part of the employee I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. David, a thin guy who looked pissed off the entire time, like he'd rather I not be there at all. He was rude and didn't seem to know the answer to questions when I asked for recommendations (either that, or he just didn't care). Suffice to say, I will not be going back. First off, kudos to whomever does their advertising because that's what got us in. Second, the specials are another reason why we came in and we weren't disappointed. Sushi places are starting to turn into Starbucks because they're on every corner, especially this corner in particular. I visited the restaurant on a Friday evening and we were promptly greeted and seated even though it was fairly busy inside. The waitress asked if we have been there before and we hadn't and she showed us the menu with the various combinations, rolls, and sushi options. We like this place! The fish is always very fresh, although the size of the rolls sometimes varies. We have found that for take out, they are sometimes made smaller than usual. The wait staff and sushi chefs are always friendly and helpful. We appreciate having a place like this to get sushi, so we gladly support them by dining here when that option is open, or getting take out, when it is not. We recommend the Red Dragon Roll and the Super Caterpillar Roll. Their cucumber salad is good, and the mixed tempura is excellent! Dining area was very clean. The service was great! We were served by 3 servers who were helping eachother all great and kept our drinks filled. The Philadelphia roll was delicious and a great size. The spider roll was nice and filling and the california roll topped with shrimp was delicious. I did not like the chicken teriyaki but it's just because of my personal preference nothing was really wrong with it just didn't enjoy it I like long soft strips and these were harder than I like choppy pieces. Upon entering the restaurant, my group, that was all wearing masks, were rudely told to get outside and stay there. We didn't quite understand what Tony, the host who yelled at us, was saying, but we thought he might be stressed and we waited. After waiting outside for a few minutes, we decided to seat ourselves in the outside seating. After maybe ten minutes, Tony came outside outraged and yelled at us for sitting outside before he could take our temperatures.
