This was the first and only Creamistry location that i've been to, and my experience has been the same each time. Whenever I walk in, i'm always greeted by the workers welcoming me into the store. It's always a hit or a miss with the crowds. But either way, I feel like my wait time isn't justified by how many workers are working. I order the Strawberry Premium with banana bits and mochi. Even when I come with friends or my boyfriend, other people's orders always come out before mine. Then, the orders from people AFTER us would be finished and some time later, I would get mine. I've had to ask them about my order more than half of the time that i'm there, and they always say they're going to "check on it" and then that it's "on its way". One time, they did offer a free topping with my order, but i didn't want it because I liked everything in my order already. One time, it took almost 40 minutes to get my order after I left the cash register. That's a little absurd considering there's SO MANY WORKERS behind the counter. Also, it is A BIT pricey considering you're getting a cup of ice cream. GRANTED, they use liquid nitrogen and that is a little expensive. It was my first time so I chose one of their top selling ice cream. they use good quality ingredients and tastes excellent. The only con is the price. Parking can be difficult to find during peak times. How it works: (1) You pick a size (mini, single, and double scoop or a Creation), (2) Pick a base that they mix the flavor with in the liquid nitrogen (be careful because your base and flavor might not go well together), (3) Pick a flavor, then (4) Pick a topping. Ice-cream here is top-notch in quality and with that comes a steep price - cheapest is $5.50. One complaint I have is, they didn't specify that a topping costs extra. Today was my first time trying this place, and I was NOT impressed with the service at all. Five people working (only 1 couple other than me in the store at 7pm), and not one asked me if I needed help. When I asked a worker if my online order was ready (it was supposed to be) she asked another worker about it. I gave my name and awaited a response. I got none. It was as if I didn't exist. I mean, I came to get a dessert HERE instead of going to a grocery store in order to avoid being out too long amongst people. My order was sitting ready & bagged in the cake refrigerator the ENTIRE time! ‍ I was calm & gracious to the employees (pandemic and all) , but I needed to vent my frustration and annoyance somewhere, hence my review. First their cash register is based on iPads so after sacrificing my $10.30 for a $9.27 medium Premium Mango icecream the cashier gave me 3¢ back and took 2 minutes to get my dollar out of the register. Now the show begins while I waited for my ice cream to be made I see other ice creams being made with this nitrogen mixer. Unfortunately the show takes a long time because it took 20 minutes for my ice cream to be made. After a 20 minutes wait I bite in the best ice cream I ever had! I'm not the best person to explain why but I can't justify $10 a 20 minutes wait and a long distance from home to come back here. Time is money and I lost that eating the best ice cream I had. If I ever came back to the area I rather go to Frostbite which ironically is in the opposite plaza or if I'm rich I try the Thai Tea flavor. 1 star off because of time and price at the same time I'm sure nitrogen is expensive. read more
