Before the COVID shutdown I always had acrylic nails. Of course I had to let them grow out. What other nail services can I try that would last as long as acrylics?

I would meet with one injector that I ended up loving, but come my next appointment they wouldn't be there anymore. This happened again another time, where I liked the injector and we connected well, but again, when I would schedule my next appointment a few months down the road that person was no longer there. Otherwise a lot of the time I had newbies injecting me. The inconsistency is what made me not want to go back, because I think it's important that you find one person that you trust with injecting you that you can always go back to.

Coming back to the valley has been amazing thanks to Creation Nails and Lashes!!!! I just came back to visit my family for Thanksgiving break and my mom decided to take me to this really cute nail salon place in Bermuda Dunes. All the nail techs are amazing and really get to know you as a customer while doing beautiful work on your nails!!! I am really thankful for Wendy for the outstanding design she did on my nails today!!! Henry gave the best foot massage I've ever gotten and needed for a really long time!!! And Kim made my moms nails look phenomenal!! I really wish I can take Creation Nails and Lashes back home to Sacramento but this will be a great reason to visit the Coachella valley more!! I had been going to this salon for lash extensions for the last 4 months. Since I had moved to Pasadena, I thought I'd try another place near by. Long story short, no where compares to Creation Nails and Lashes! So I will now drive the 2+ hours to this salon for a refill with either Mae or her husband! Unfortunately, yesterday I forgot to ask him his name. But he did a wonderful job with my lashes. He took his time and was very detailed oriented. I was hesitate at first since I was used to Mae always doing my lashes, however they are BOTH GREAT AT DOING EYELASH EXTENSIONS. I recently received my eyelash extension from a guy name Vincent and let me tell you, he is the best out there! This is my very first time having an eyelash extension and I have never been so happy with my life! He did such an amazing job and I got this deal from groupon! The staff is super friendly and I am so going back for my next refill! Although, I do have to admit that I feel terrible only leaving him $5 tip when I intended to giving him more since I lost my money but soon as I get back I am so doubling it! When I walked in, I was greeted kindly by all the employees and the place was nice and clean. I never looked back and have been getting my nails done here at least twice a month for over year. If you're looking to get your lashes done, this is the place! I would call in advance and request an appointment with Mae. Mae is incredible! She's very sweet, patient, and takes her time with your lashes. My lashes NEVER look clumpy when she does them, and they will last 4+ weeks- as long as you take care of them! read more

There would be dipping powder still around my nails and I would have to ask for oil to rub on my cuticles. I think I stayed because I was too overwhelmed to find another salon since there are so many. I mostly stayed because of the girl that did my pedi's, she was great. My daughter was visiting and she happened to go to Bella Nails and said how good they were, (she's extremely picky), I thought what the heck, my old salon won't miss me. Helen got me right in and was so grateful I came in. She showed more appreciation in 1 min., than my last salon ever showed. I understand why one customer said Helen was running around, it's because she is constantly getting things for pedicures to assure the towels are hot, and the rocks for massaging are the right temp. She is a very busy woman and is a hard worker, I didn't find her rude at all. I had a great pedicure, very gentle and did a great job. She also did my dipping nails, and WOW, she is so detailed. Remember when salons used to cut your cuticles if dry, well Helen does it, remember when you used to get oil and lotion afterwards on your hands, well Helen does it. I was very impressed and am so grateful I found this salon. I think everyone has a bad day now and then, we need to understand how hard these salons work. Thank you Helen

When it came to the application, I could tell she was rushing and just by the fact that she didn't even file them down and they were the complete opposite shape of what I asked for. My nails were super thick, and the French tip was very uneven along with the chrome being not even the color I asked for. Instead of square nails, she gave me duck nails and thick nails. After my appointment, I was so upset by the turnout my nails. I went to a different salon and got them redone and when I called asking for a half refund for the design, they told me no and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and I will never be returning. Also charge me 70 bucks. Insane for the service I received.

Business is slow in the summer so they decided to take advantage of us. That's OK, but it will not happen again. I hope the extra $30.00 from each of us was worth them losing us as customers.
