The mini martinis are served on a martini tree, which makes the experience especially fun, and they also make an excellent dirty martini--perfectly ice cold and well balanced. The beef tartare is another standout and easily one of the best in town. It's always topped with an impressively large egg yolk, which I love. Murray's is an easy recommendation for anyone in East Austin looking for a relaxed, lively atmosphere and a satisfying meal.

Juliet, our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. My salmon was delicious, the Chicken Francese amazing and the Chicken Pot Pie unique and great, to name a few. Since we were there during happy hour, bottles of wine were half off-a great deal--and portions were very large--another welcome surprise. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, a manager brought out a tower of seven mini glasses of champagne- a great touch. The Sticky Pudding on the dessert menu also a hit. While a bit out of the way, tucked in a neighborhood, this spot is worth the trip. We all plan on returning soon.

The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. The building is quite large and inside is cool as the seating is quite spacious and a large number of people can enjoy food and drink at once. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.

Their fried chicken sandwich was audibly crisp with fresh tomato and lettuce that I made two meals out of. To end the perfect meal... my husband actually coordinated with staff to create "Gender Reveal" pancakes! I didn't realize what they were until I got to the yummy surprise! Their cream is delicious! The pancakes were soft and sweet! The experience, unforgettable. It brought happy tears to my eyes and we really appreciate the thought and care put into our day. The sauce was extremely rich, making it difficult to enjoy or finish the meal. That said, the restaurant itself is adorable, and our waiter was fantastic. The service and atmosphere were both great. While this breakfast wasn't a hit for me, I'll still return and stick with favorites like the fried green tomatoes and taquito salad, which were excellent during my previous visit.

Even though we were the only customers there, it took around 20 minutes for our food to come out. We were genuinely confused, and it was one of the few times we felt the need to send a dish back. Because of that experience, we likely would not return to this particular location, especially when we've had consistently better visits at the Mueller one.

I imagine you have to be mindful that ultimately people have a flight to catch and dont want to wait until the last minute to pay. I had the Buddy Holly burger and it was average in taste, temperature and size. The fries were pretty good.

Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. Inside the bathroom there is a sign about safety and if you need assistants. I did take a picture of it. On our way out, Brian the manager, said good night to us and waved. Salmon Poke (4.5/5) was incredible. Salmon was fresh, creamy and has a nice balance from the nutty sesame dressing. Paired with pickled cucumber was just heaven. We also really enjoyed their crispy nori they served, which can be used to scoop up the poke. The brisket Rangoon (4/5) is a nice take on the collab of Asian and Texas cuisine. Must try! The char-buff cauliflower (3.4/5) was also yummy but unfortunately they went overboard on the sauce. Cocktails were all delicious and you can definitely feel the alcohol. Perfect HH stop when you are on this side of town!
