This has been a staple for us to come to from work. It's tucked away in uptown and fortunately has its own parking lot which is a huge plus given the area and it's difficulty to find parking. The inside of the place has somewhat of a homey feel in my opinion. The food here has never disappointed, however it also has never wowed either. The bruschetta is probably my favorite now. That was delicious. Also to start, they give you a salad and garlic bread (this comes with every meal). The bread is pretty addicting! The entrees have been good. Recently I tried their snapper allo marko entree. It was more than enough food and had a good flavor. All their entrees come with a side of pasta. Some come with veggies but it is literally 4 pieces of veggies which is disappointing. My colleagues are obsessed with the chicken parmigiana with a side of Alfredo pasta. I don't think they've ordered anything else. The risotto pomodoro was great as well. I added chicken which came with an upcharge to it to get some protein with my meal. Drink wise, their bottles of wine are very reasonable priced. We ended up getting 3 bottles for the evening. In addition, they carry Morreti, which is a fabulous italian beer and hard to find. We also tried the tiramisu this time around which was pretty good. Overall, this is a great go to to keep on your list for italian food. Service is usually on point and the food is usually always good. If you haven't been, definitely check it out. And if you're like us, this is a constant on our lunch rotation. read more

The mussels were DRENCHED in marinara that seemed to come from a ragú bottle. The sangria is from a bottle and they throw bar limes in it. Never got our coke. This place has authentic Italian, and it's run by an old Italian family. I've been here three times, and each time the same people have waited on us. Each time the food has been sublime. The food is always fresh, with lots of flavor and creaminess. The tables are clean and the Italian music is playing at a tasteful level in the background. There are so many beautiful areas to sit and enough tables that any conversation you have doesn't really travel to another table. I've come with my husband and my friends before and this place has always impressed them. My friend was so impressed she actually took her husband here on a date night afterwards. My favorites are the gnocchi Alfredo (it's fresh, the perfect texture, and melts in your mouth), the capellini putanesca (we've also had it with shrimp and the flavor is just incredible and the texture of everything all together is simply divine), and the veal picatta with artichokes (the veal is the perfect thickness, very tender, and with all of the flavors it's reminiscent of your favorite comfort food. The minestrone soup is also very comforting and has wonderful flavor as well. The cup size is actually like a small bowl. This place is definitely worth a visit, but I must warn you, once you come here you'll definitely be hooked. My favorite restaurant in Dallas. They have their own parking lot which is an anomaly. Their food is phenomenal and consistent. Their drinks are worth coming for alone. I recommend the espresso martini- it's ruined me for all other establishments. Their sidecar is superb as well. The live music on the weekends is so romantic. I got a chicken piccata meal and at 25 bucks, I was given maybe like 4 oz of overcooked spaghetti (buttered), 4 pieces of steamed vegetables (1 cauliflower floret, 1 broccoli floret, 1 broccolini, and 1 slice of carrot, all about an inch or two in size), lemon sauce that seemed to have too much corn starch, and a hefty size of butterflied chicken breast. The meal was passable, the chicken was good, but this dish and its presentation was at best a 12.99 plate. I will never come back. For comparison, my go to spot is a place in Flower Mound, Fiori's. read more

Polite people but terrible value. Pizza is a commercial flatbread (think one step up from a tortilla that you get in a supermarket) with canned sauce and cheap cheese. This will be $16 plus $4 for each canned topping. The wine I had was decent for the type, but at $24 a glass pretty ridiculous. They had two TVs blasting sound at the same time in the bar, which I suppose was ok since no one else was in the place. This restaurant needs to go on the Gordon Ramsey show that turns around failing restaurants. It has potential but they are stuck in the trap of cutting quality and trying to raise prices to make up for poor sales when people opt for better choices nearby. Seriously, for what they are charging for basically microwave pizza and a glass of wine, you can get a couple margaritas and Waygu fajitas around the corner. Mediocre Italian food. We decided to go here since the restaurant has a history and has been in operation for over 30 years. I went on a Thursday evening and there were barely any customers. I liked the ambiance and the lighting inside the restaurant. We started off with house red and white wines. They were great. The house garlic bread was very plain. Kind of reminded me of Waffle House bread. Nothing great about them. I got egg plant parmigiana and my friend got Salmon Piccata. The egg plant lacked flavor and seasoning but the quantity was decent. The salmon tasted really old and seemed like it had been sitting in the freezer for a long time. We had the Chicken Parm, Spaghetti and Meatballs. Caesar Salad and garlic bread to start. We also got a pizza to go and had a slice. Everything was very very good. Pizza Is thin with a perfect crust! It is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Chicken Parm is tenderized and nice and thin! VERY GOOD!! The meatballs are pretty good, while the Spaghetti is EXCELLENT. Amazing meal at Cremona the other night. Super authentic and so romantic. Tucked away on a corner with ample parking which makes life easy when it comes to parking in Uptown. I had the gnocci with a vodka sauce and it was AMAZING! Also had a side Caesar salad and it was very delicious and loved how they served a lot of garlic bread. Very hot and great big portions. Amazing service and loved meeting the owner the other night. Super friendly staff and they make you feel right at home. I've dined here a couple times now and had a great experience both times. The only draw back was there was live entertainment, solo gentleman and it was too close to the tables. At times we had to yell to talk. For appetizers and main course, ordered the Funghi Trifolate, Eggplant Parmigiana, Capellini Isabella Frutti De Mare, Gnocchi Alla Mama, and Linguine Vodka Sauce. Portion sizes were huge and the dishes were flavorful, could tell fresh ingredients were used. The free bread was crispy and perfect for dipping in the pasta dish sauces. We stumbled upon this place after our original pick was reservation only. What a serendipitous surprise!! This place is eclectic and the food was delicious. I picked my dish from a recommendation from our waitress. I had the baked ravioli and the minestrone soup. I must mention that we were set by a young teenage girl. I observed her while we dined. She worked hard by clearing tables and seating customers. She was courteous. I asked her age and she told me that she was 12 and she was helping her parents. I applaud them for teaching her the value of hard work. I grew up in my parents business and that teaches the work ethic that most millennials lack.
