A friend and I came in from out of town. Once we settled in our seats in the small but cozy coffee shop, we placed our order. I personally had the Mexican Mocha, and the Strawberry Shortcrepe. They were delightfully not too too sweet and I easily cleaned my plate and mug! My friend ordered an iced chai (made in house) and had the Cuban Crepes. I got to taste it too and honestly I hope they win awards for that plate of food --- SOOOO GOOD! I believe this is a family run restaurant and I wish them them the best possible success for their business. If I didn't live somewhere else I would eat there every chance I could! P.S.- They have gluten-free crepes available, as well as non-dairy products for their drinks. read more

Just happened to be in the area while heading toward MeowWolf. The food was amazing. We had a group of 10 with a few kids and ended up sharing a few of the breakfast plates but even with the size of our group everyone was able to find something they liked and enjoyed it very much. The savory crepes had great combinations of flavors and the breakfast plates all tasted great. The NM Eggs Benedict is something all of us would recommend after sharing a few bites. read more

We saw this on the map and decided to try it because it was close to the hotel. I'm glad we did. It's a small family owned restaurant with a diverse menu that has both savory and sweet options. This place is really great! It definitely looks like a hole in the wall and there were no cars when we showed up, my wife wanted to go somewhere else and thank goodness we went in for breakfast. There aren't many times when your expectations could not come close to your actual culinary experience. Going to this small, hidden gem was one of those moments. A friend had extolled the virtues of this establishment, but her words did not prepare me for the deliciously crafted meal my husband and I inhaled. We ordered the Roasted Poblano and Chicken Florentine crepes. My crepe arrived with the listed ingredients...carmelized onions and a perfectly roasted poblano (it actually had a little heat). My only minor constructive comment was the ingredients were not evenly spread, and the tomato and pepper existed on one side of the crepe. Every bite was a flavor explosion nonetheless. The bechamel type creamy corn sauce was so incredibly rich and decadent, you could not believe how good it was until you would take another bite. The Florentine crepe was packed with tender chicken with a similar white cream sauce; only minor critique was there could have been a little more spinach. We were supposed to share our crepes but we each thought our entree was the better one and proceeded to greedily eat our own selection. I ordered a latte afterwards, and it had a dark flavor, almost with a chocolate essence. This restaurant was also packed when we arrived with young families and couples (excluding our middle aged selves)...a very good sign indicating a delicious meal. Wonderful new unassuming place just off Cerrillos. Tried a savory chicken crepe and then another time the blueberry lemon one. Both delicious. Nice people and reasonable prices. Give it a try and don't worry about the plain exterior. Nice little spot inside. read more

Ok this is a little jewel tucked just off the road. It's across the road from motel 6. Do not be fooled by the humble exterior. Their motto is: But first Coffee". Gluten free and veg options are good! Very good service. Seems like your sister serving you. Inside please up market decor and a killer coffee bar! Food is excellent all around and the eggs are perfect to order. I can't wait to come back. Do not hesitate it's good. I would photograph the plated food but that's a bit silly. This is an fabulous spot on the south side of town, with a laid back coffeehouse vibe, and bonus of completely delicious food that goes beyond the usual coffeehouse fare. I had the lemon blueberry crepe and every element down to the whipped cream was delicious. My wife had the Crepa Deluxe, with Nutella and berries. Service was warm and attentive. The name is pronounced like "que paso" in case you're wondering. There's a window into the kitchen, the quiches looked yummy and I was sad not to have the appetite for them - one was green chile bacon and the other was basil, mozzarella and tomato, each served with side salad. Do let the name confuse you. It not just crepes. There is so much more here. It's a gree's at coffee shop too. But the breakfasts are exceptional. Try the New Mexican Benedit's with a fantastic hollandaise sauce that is perfectly spiced with chorizo and green chili. Sweet and savory crepes abound. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. Just off Cerrillos, it sits in a small area just behind T-Mobile. It's absolutely worth the effort to find this little gem. read more

I had a wonderful brunch here. It's a small unpretentious spot sort of behind Firehouse Subs. The coffee was perfect and the crepe deluxe was delicious and filling - a delightful blend of French and Spanish. And you can get fresh-squeezed orange juice if you like. The menu selection was interesting and had enough variety to satisfy different tastes. The service was excellent and relaxed. The server also keeps a supply of rubber wedges to level your table on the somewhat uneven floor. I recommend that you try it out. read more

We stopped by for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. I ordered a coffee and the breakfast sandwich. Coffee was good, very flavorful. The sandwich was great. Served on a fresh croissant with egg, great cheese, and I opted for bacon. The egg also had green chilis in it, only adding to the flavor. Not overly spicy or anything, just really tasty. We also ordered a sweet crepe at the end, their lemon curd and blueberry. Very good as well. Service was excellent and I would highly recommend. read more
