I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.

(38 cents / oz.). Charging $3.50 for 2oz. of syrup seems excessive, but that's just my opinion. I'm not sure why this was frustrating to me, as we have overpaid for food all over Santa Fe, including other restaurants with similar up-charges for "pure maple syrup". They also offer soups, salads, and dips, as well as a rather large sandwich menu. They offer both cold and hot sandwiches as well as a multitude of drinks, cookies, snacks, ice cream, and chocolates and other treats. Indoor tables are available in a rather open and spacious layout, should you decide to eat on site. Restrooms are also located in this area. Another tip is that you can park in the back instead of the front if you want to get really close to the restaurant. Next time I come, I'm coming hungry so I can try some of their offerings!
