Visited 2/19/2022 A nice Route 66 Diner. Cool decor and a fair amount of seating inside and outside. Service was good and helpful. Food was mostly good. I had the 1/2 Rack Spareribs with potato salad, Baked Beans, coleslaw and cornbread. Also added a smoked sausage. Ribs we're fall off the bone tender and tasty. The sausage was excellent. Potato salad and baked beans were also quite good. Coleslaw had no flavor but the cornbread was very good. My girlfriend had the bacon cheeseburger. Although it was a bit overcooked instead of medium rare it still was quite tasty. The french fries were a bummer though. Dried little hard overcooked. 1 Star. The chocolate shake needed a lot more chocolate to be called a chocolate shake. Ouster bland in flavor. All in all I would be here again. read more

My mom and I stop here every time we visit Williams. It's our tradition. We love this place for the nostalgia environment and great food! This visit around (5/25/23), we brought my grandparents who were totally brought back to what they call "the good ol' days!" We all had the Smoked Pulled Brisket Sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The brisket had a good flavor to it and the BBQ sauce was tasty! My mom and I always ask for more BBQ sauce because they often put very little on the top of the meat. The fries were crispy, but a little on the dry side. Although, dipping them in to the BBQ sauce/ketchup helped solve that issue. As for the service, it was okay. Our waitress was Adela. She was also training a new employee at the time, who was very nice. Adela seemed to have a lot of experience as she was showing the trainee how to enter our drinks in to the system. Though, there was a moment when the trainee could not find Adela to help her with taking our orders. The trainee was a little confused as to how to enter the brisket as a sandwich. I applaud the trainee for asking another employee for assistance, who was able to help her locate the sandwich in their system. Once she learned how to enter it, she was able to enter our other orders quickly. Our food came out just as we ordered it! Great job! In addition to the staff, the only part that I found to be a little unprofessional were the younger staff members (women) standing around the front entrance/counter on their phones and giggling at their phones. They appeared as if they were not being very attentive to the customers. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The environment and the food met my grandparents' expectations, which my mom and I were thrilled they enjoyed it! This place is worth a try if you haven't been yet. read more

Tourist trap. The place is decorating in classic 50's diner. The food is overly priced for how poor quality it is. The fries were soggy and tasted old. I added for grilled onions and got burnt ones. The lettuce was wilted. The burgers were rubbery and lacked beefy flavor. It's obvious every ingredient was frozen and cheap which is a high disappointment when paying $22 for a burger. The only good tasting part was the milkshake which wasn't fully blended and mostly just ice cream. The service wasn't bad but underwhelming. I would definitely skip this place next time. read more

Sweet little spot for a relaxing lunch with live music. Barbecue brisket and chicken sandwiches were our pick. Wasn't over the top satisfied with the sandwiches, bread was dry. Split decision on the bbq, the sauce is unique. Service could have been better, we sought out our own silverware and spent time seeking our server hoping she would check in instead. A wonderful patio for all the Williams people watching along the main strip... The food is excellent & the portions are appreciated. You may even catch live music on the patio if you're lucky. The table service is a bit slow, so this may not be yours stop if you're on a schedule. However, the servers are very nice & the food comes out quick once you're able to order. The service here absolutely sucks!! Our order consisted of 2 waters, a coke, a Bloody Mary, Grand Canyon nachos, a half rack of pork ribs with a baked potato and a bbq sampler plate. I asked that the nachos come out first to which he said no problem. We waited quite a while for our drinks that never came. All of a sudden here comes our nachos, the ribs and the sampler plate. At this point he finally brings the drinks to the table minus the coke to which my friend asks about his baked potato and his coke. The server says he will be right back with both. At this point we try the nachos, ice cold! The food was a little better than room temperature. Finally a lady shows up with the baked potato and it's not what he ordered so back to the kitchen. Still no coke! Our server comes back outside and my friend catches attention to get his coke. "Sorry. No charge for the coke." And he went and finally got it. The potato finally comes back out and is made correctly. Never once were we asked if we needed anything or how the food was. We didn't bother complaining about our food and left everything we didn't eat. I didn't want to wait another hour for them to get the food right. The owner needs to fix things before he has to board up the doors. To think channel 3 news was just there giving them good reviews a couple weeks ago. What the heck happened? Oh, he charged us for the coke. Thanks to the owner for his generic response. It shows how much he cares about his customers. 90% of his customers will never be back because they are tourist and unfortunately that's how he treats all of the customers. read more

The smell from the giant outside smoker invited us in. We got the Brisket Plate and the half rack Sweet Pork Ribs. If you can't decide between the beef or pork ribs, the pork is softer and not overly sweet. The 3 sides it came with(potato salad, bean, and cole slaw) were a good combo. read more

Very cool old 50s diner with a vast menu of choices to eat. Anything from sandwiches to bbq that can satisfy anyone's cravings. I wouldn't say it's the best if service but it's a very busy restaurant so I can imagine it gets a little overwhelming as a server So many choices to go after but I did notice the smokers out front so I had to go with the bbq sampler player and my wife went with the prime rib. The BBQ samples platter was a good route to try out all the various meats. I was a bit excited for the beef ribs but that ended up being the meat I didn't like as much. The pulled pork was nice and soft, the brisket was good, the sausage was nice and juicy, but the pork rib was mostly bone with no flavor and the beef rib didn't even taste like it had seasoning on it. The BBQ seem to pull together the dish to be honest. The portion could if been easily shared but can be eaten by one person if you are really hungry. The prime rib was on the smaller cut but wasn't too bad. I did think there was a seasoning issue once again but some A1 sauce made it good to eat. Update: John apology seems to not be sincere or helpful since he copies and pastes the same response to everyone who is complaining. Obviously they are not attempting to fix the training or problem. Waited to be seated even though there were a lot of open tables and not busy. Just no hostess. When she finally came and seated us we sat and waited 30 minutes for a waitress to come. Nothing. The waitress was delivering food to tables next to us and we tried to wave her down twice but she walked right by us. We decided to just get up and leave and go somewhere else. When we were leaving we saw all of the staff inside just standing and laughing and joking with each other. They didn't even look our way as we were leaving. Horrible service. I have no idea why this place got 3 stars when they should get 4-5.My husband and I was there for dinner when we're visit Williams for the second times,Usually when we walked by it's always crowded and long line,So we just decided to give it a try. We walked in and a girl was wrapping silverware, after waiting a full 2 minutes I walked up and started to ask if we were to seat ourselves or if they would seat us. She interrupted me mid sentence and said "hold on I'll be over" I should have known at that moment that the service here would suck. Unfortunately I was right, after waiting 7 minutes for someone to come take our order we got up and walked out. Love love loved this place! I have been to William's several times and have always seen but never tried this place. I assumed it was like every other retro diner, Johnny Rockets lol, and I didn't have many expectations when it came to the food. I had family in from out of town and they wanted that classic "Route 66" experience so we opted to give this place a try, and I am so glad we did. The atmosphere in here was so fun, I definitely recommend checking out the bathroom. I loved the self serve drink station and we were seated in the back area which was must appreciated since we were traveling with little kids. We were a fairly large group and our server was so patient and accommodating when we kept needing a few extra minutes to explore the menu. I think we each got something different and no one was disappointed. I got a plain baked potato and bowl of chili and for something so simple, it was the best I have ever had. My daughter was a handful, spilled her apple juice and requested ice cream after we had already paid the bill and our server was just as kind at the beginning of the service as she was at the end. I would recommend this place to anyone that find themselves in Williams. read more

The decor and style of this place is cool! We were sat quickly and told drinks were self serve. Took about 15 mins to see a server once seated. Even though there seemed to be lots of staff there. It was an hour away from close. For a $20 burger cruiser's is just okay. Burger patty is 1/2 lb but ours were chewy and over cooked. Kids meal grilled came on thick but very dry bread. I'm think I went to the restraunt on a bad day or something because the food was pretty bad. Probably the worst BBQ I've ever had. And the restaurant had no AC so it was like 80 degrees inside. 1st, ALL of the drinks from the fountain machines were flat and old. My family and I had to drink water because both of the fountain machines were disgusting. I didn't even know lemonade could get flat and loose its sour. 2nd, the food was the worst BBQ food I've ever had. We got 2 orders of the BBQ sampler that came with brisket, sausage link, pork ribs, a beef rib, beans, slaw, corn bread, and pulled pork. And an order of fries. The ribs were EXTREMELY DRY. No flavor with a sprinkle of BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was awful. The beef rib was black, burnt, tough with no flavor. You couldn't even taste the meat. Just ash. Same with the pork rib, very dry and no flavor. Tasted like they tried to turn it into jerky. The pulled pork wasn't that dry but it had no flavor. And there was barely any BBQ sauce on our plate so I had to dip it in the beans to get some flavor going. Ask for BBQ sauce but they never gave us any. I almost used ketchup because that's how much I wanted to give my food some moisture and flavor. The brisket was just dry meat with fat and no flavor other than ash. The fries......even the fries were terrible They were extremely over cooked. Not burnt but damn they might as well have been. I couldn't stick my fork through the fries. The coleslaw was the worst coleslaw I've ever had. It was just shredded cabbage in cloudy white water. Absolutely no flavor. No sweetness. No tang. Nothing. The sausage link was good. That was the only meat that I liked. I dipped it in the beans and it tasted like a chili dog so that was a win for me. The corn bread was very good. Moist and sweet. Fluffy like a cake. It came with butter but it didn't even need it The beans were good. I wonder if they were canned chili beans because it tasted very similar. But I'm not a sweet baked beans person so I liked they're beans. The potatoe salad was ok I guess. Not much going for it flavor wise but my fiance ate it so When I go back to Williams I'm going to try this place again to see if I can turn my first experience around because this place has good reviews so I'm confused. Lucille's BBQ restraunt is the absolute GOAT at BBQ so I know what good BBQ is suppose to taste like. Darn, we were doing so good on finding cool places & hitting home runs with food but Cruisers was a straight miss. 2 stars for the service, the waitress was friendly and so was the bus boy. They were the highlight of the meal. Other than that I spent $90 for my family to eat (well, except my kid because the fries in his meal were so crunchy he didn't want to bother with them) and the food was "eh" at best. The BBQ sampler really lacked flavor. The chili-cheese fries were okay, but served in like a dog dish. It was really lacking. The entertainment on the patio was ..... different. The guy was nice and engaging to the crowd, but as a purveyor of live music I'm disappointed that this was the first live music I've seen in months. Tasty BBQ. We had the BBQ platter which had beef ribs, pork ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and brisket. All of the meat was tasty except the pulled pork. It was colorless and had little flavor, and a lot of fat. The brisket was ok. The best meats were the ribs. I preferred the beef rib. We had the beans and cornbread as sides which were tasty. After not having a server for over 10 minutes, Jasmine M. took initiative to be our server. Not only was she friendly and helpful with the menu, she also was helpful with to things to do in the area, as we are from out of town. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. None of the nicer steakhouses were open (even though their website said they were?) so we ate at the only place that had a menu with something other than carbs and glutens. Ordered the BBQ Sampler and a salad with candied walnuts and chicken on top. Such a disappointment! BBQ was the worst we've ever eaten. The salad had a hair in it and the chicken seemed to be parboiled or microwaved. I was worried my husband's taste was messed up because he said that the beans, coleslaw and potato salad all tasted "off"... until I tasted them too. Yuk. The only redeeming feature was that the walnuts were good. The wait staff were nice but we waited a long time to order and to get our check despite the slowness of the day. Look closely- no one exiting the restaurant has a smile. I had high hopes for this place but honestly, I wouldn't bother eating here. Yes, it's a tourist stop, yes it's large, and yes- patience is required. We were sat right away (good), we waited for 15 minutes to see our server for the 1st time (), we waited another20 minutes to give our order. Then we waited 62 minutes to receive our food. There was no line, there were empty tables- what gives? Burger was ok- not worth the $18. My pulled pork sandwich was a weird gray color and flavorless with a dollop of gross bbq sauce on top of a soggy SOGGY onion ring. Started in on my sandwich- it was cold and the meat had been sitting on the bun so long before we were served that it was slimy, mushy, and inedible- definitely not able to be picked up even. Which explains the soggy onion ring. Fries were good though but basically tasted like McD's. As big as the place is- there is one men's room and one women's with a total of only three toilets and one urinal. Although we refused to let onto our kids how bad things were going so they could enjoy themselves, I think the vibe and the waiting just put a huge cloud over our next leg of travel. The walls have some cute memorabilia but it's all dirty and dusty so just so unpleasant to look at. Advice: skip it! read more
