A great spot for an after dinner dessert. These little cookie masterpieces are great for photos, just a little too much on the sugar and shine but lacking depth of flavor. I consider myself a "cookie connoisseur" and I really wanted to love these, we tried them all and most were decent, the one standout would be the traditional milk chocolate chunk. I will be back to try the other flavors and hope to find a unique one that will help sway my review another star. On a side note, bring a small kid and they will think they are in cookie heaven. I have only gotten cookies from this location through doordash so my review may be biased. However the cookies here are hit or miss. Sometimes the cookies come warm, other times not. That may be the DD driver's fault though. The cookies sometimes come undercooked. That is why I am docking a star. However the ones that are good are GOOD. I mean GOOD. Another cookie shop usually feels like a waste to me because I love baking and cookies are quick for me to whip up. I really wanted to like this shop because my step-daughter raves about it when her mom takes her. So, we ended up buying a dozen to try. We ordered a mixture of what was left which included churro, chocolate chip, mint chip ice cream, turtle and orange. For each of the cookies, I have a similar response. Every cookie was underbaked which is probably why they are so tender and moist. Every cookie is presented in a fantastic manner and they all look really great to eat and since most people eat with their eyes it looks like it would be delicious. The service is impeccable. We heard that the churro cookie was not available to order on the online app but they had two more minutes to finish baking more churro cookies and we asked if we could order just whatever cookie and they switch it out for the churro cookies when the churros come out. That was nice. The only problem that I have is that I didn't really love any of the taste of any of the cookies that I had. This will make it hard for me to purchase another cookie in the future for myself but my step-daughter can have whatever she wants from here because the place looks clean. read more

Hopefully this location will get to a point where I can revise my rating to 5 stars but for now the Concord location needs some improvement. 5 stars for the cookies, 2 stars for wait times. I've ordered through the app multiple times now and each time the earliest arrival estimate it gives you is at least 30 minutes away. Plan to order your cookies WELL in advance. I came during my window in the afternoon and still waited an additional 20 minutes as they were all scrambling with orders. I also visited late in the evening when there's 7 employees working and only 2 customers in the store. Luckily that evening I came in 20 minutes earlier than my arrival time and was able to be accommodated. On top of this, parking at the Veranda shopping center is horrendous. I believe they just recently put up 2 designated curbside pickup spots, which I haven't seen open either. On the other hand, the cookies have always been amazing. Crumbl Cookies is a fun gourmet cookie company that just opened up a few weeks ago at the Veranda next door to MOD Pizza. They are known for their massive size, cute pink boxes, and creative menu that rotates weekly (four flavors). Two classic favorites, Chocolate Chip (served warm) and Sugar (served chilled) are their standard flavors. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sundays. And Sundays are when they reveal their next four specialty cookies for the following week! If you're a cookie lover, it's best to download their app to earn "crumb points," order online for takeout or delivery, or view their current menu. I visited on two different occasions (week one and week three) so I could try different flavors. These cookies are freshly baked so allow extra minutes for the staff to decorate your cookies in their open kitchen. It smells delightful inside of the store! And since Crumbl is so popular, wait times can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or more, depending on what time you go. Luckily they open early (8 am) and close late (10 pm). I believe they close at midnight on Friday and Saturday. And yes, some flavors will sell out! I was lucky to get my hands on the Banana Cream Pie cookie when they first opened. That was insanely good! Literally a pie in cookie form. Then when they featured the Peaches and Cream cookie this week, it was sold out when I went! Boo! Individual cookies are $4 each. A 4-Pack is $14.25, and a Party Box (dozen) is $35.25. These cookies are indulgent and some are sweeter than others so be prepared to have a tall glass of milk ready. Or coffee. Heck...even water! Crumbl's concept is very clever. Since they only feature four specialty cookies weekly, who knows when you'll be able to grab it again. The combination of flavors are endless. Some traditional, some unique. I heard sometimes it takes months for a cookie flavor to come back because they have so many flavor combinations. And this will have customers coming back for more! Came in today, a Friday at 11:30am. There was a line out the door. Took 25min to get in and put in an order. Also by the time I got in 2 cookie flavors were already sold out! What?! How?! Waited outside an additional 30 min to get the cookies. It was only 4 cookies that I ordered. When my name was finally called, the worker said "we ran out of chocolate chip so I gave you a key lime instead"... uh what? Your most basic cookie is sold out , so now 3 flavors were out when I came in. I really was looking forward to their chocolate chip one. Wah! I ended up asking for cornbread cookie, instead of the key lime, which she changed but geeez.. by noon half your flavors are sold out. That's ridic. On the way home I placed the cookies on my lap. When I got out of the car the box had frosting on the bottom. Seriously?! They packaged it so sloppily. And now I had frosting all over my pants. -__- I tried the cornbread cookie, key lime and sugar cookie. The verdict? Meh. It's okay. Definitely not worth an hour wait. Overall experience wasn't that great. This location needs to get it together. Their curbside pickup is always sold out for the day. They're running out of cookie flavors 3 hours into opening for the day, the wait is crazy and the cookies are just mediocre. Not sure if I'd come back based off this first experience. I thought a few weeks in from their grand opening they would iron out the kinks but it doesn't look like it. Maybe next year? This is brand new at the Veranda and I think they're opening up other store fronts all around California right now. Definitely the hype and be prepared to wait in line for at least 30 minutes outside and another 10-15 minutes for your cookies depending on what you want. They open at 8am so it might be better going earlier on or ordering online. Their cookie availability changes during the day depending on what they have ready. I heard their chocolate chip cookie is really good but then they didn't have it available when I was there. I would say some of these cookies are pretty huge and $4 a cookie, best to share or to eat little by little like a cake. I think it was like $14 for a box. I got the available flavors that evening which were the double chocolate chip (tasted like a brownie), chocolate frosting and chilled sugar- which honestly tasted like a sugar cookie with frosting from a grocery store, and my favorite was the lemon poppyseed. The cookies were really soft but I think I liked the lemon poppyseed the best because of its texture and that it was the least sweet. If you have a sweet tooth these are great but I think they pair well with a black coffee. If you have the time and are with friends passing time, this would be a nice past time to see what the hype is about. If not, then I would go super early or order ahead or just wait until the lines die down. They are open I think almost until midnight some days and the lines were still long around 11pm. If you're looking for a soft, tasty, gourmet cookie with the right amount of sweetness, this is the place for you! Like I said-it's a gourmet cookie so the prices are up there. You can order with them at their register or you can order on their iPad like screens to the side of the establishment. It's super user friendly. Once you make your order they package them up in a pretty cute box and you're on your way. Your options are single box, 4-pack, 6-pack or Party Pack. You can also buy ice cream but I didn't during my visit unfortunately. I went with a 4 pack (frozen hot chocolate, classic sugar, and two milk chocolate chip) and the total plus tip was roughly $20. It's a bit pricey Im not going to lie but I went for it regardless. They of course we're not disappointing! My favorite was the frozen hot chocolate; the mousse was perfection. I think out of all of them if I had to choose, my least favorite was the sugar cookie. The cookie itself was good but the icing on top was not for me. It was my first time visiting this location, and it was especially easy to order either at the counter or the ipad(Self Kiosk). Their cookies are moist, warm, and large. Good for sharing! I had these cookies last summer because some one brought them to a party. They are pretty large and definitely different than your average cookie. I heard that they were opening one in the Veranda so I had to check it out. I went on Grand opening day and there wasn't too big of a line. They had a mobile kiosk similar to the one at Shake Shack in which you place your order and can pay for your items. You can also order with a counter capers on, top. I had ordered the 4 pack combo of Peanut Butter/ Red Velvet/ Banana Fosters/ Ultimate Choc Chip. They called my order in a few minutes and the cookie I had was the Banana Fosters. I had given the 3 others away but the Banana one was very good and it was a little messy. I would go back again but only for a quick desserts. There has to be a way to know what cookies would be left when pre-ordering. I went to this location on Friday as I did use the app to order ahead to pick up curbside. I was disappointed to find out that 3 cookies that were a feature I did not receive but given free chocolate chip cookie cards. I don't understand pre-order and not have it fulfilled first for those who had went through the app? And also just an automatic refund if it isn't available. How about if I just wanted the refund... but instead get replacement cookies and some cards. I've heard many great things about Crumbl Cookies, but it's unfortunate that the nearest one is located more than 30 min. away from me. Funny thing is that the first Crumbl Cookies location I went to was more than an hour away from me, because I was visiting a close friend who moved into the Concord/Pittsburg area. I appreciated the automated ordering system in the store. Placing an order was simple and easy. The customer service was questionable that day though. My friend and I were waiting outside for our order to be brought out. One of the employees walked right past us, called out my friend's name all the way in the parking lot, but ended up giving our order to someone driving by. We went back inside and told a different employee that we didn't get our order. The 2nd employee's body language was such a put off. She appeared to be visibly frustrated - like it was our fault or she didn't believe us - as she aggressively opened/closed doors to the cookie racks. At least the cookies were huge and tasty. I got a one cookie per flavor. The flavors of the week included s'mores, carrot cake, dark chocolate, classic sugar, classic chocolate chip, and apple pie. I loved that cookies were warmed up with the exception of the classic sugar cookie, which was served chilled. The chocolate cookie was my favorite. The dough was ooey and gooey, and the chocolate chips were as big as mini kisses! The carrot cake was my second favorite. The flavor was spot on to a carrot cake, including the cream cheese frosting. The apple pie was my boyfriend's favorite. The sautéed apples made it very authentic. The s'mores was pretty basic. Candidly I've had better s'mores cookies, but Crumbl's was not bad by any means. Get your glass of milk handy for the double chocolate cookie. It was incredibly rich and decadent. Lastly, the classic sugar cookie was unique. I don't love sugar cookies, but I liked that Crumbl's version had an almond base for its flavor. I will definitely be back again when I'm in the same vicinity of a Crumbl location. I don't know how long I waited exactly I was chatting with a man in front of me and he told me they actually opened today and the line was longer than this but he came back after he ate so glad I got there when I did. I wasn't sure what was going on because I saw workers coming out with boxes walking around then I realized they were doing curbside drop offs which seemed to be moving faster than the people in line. They should take care of the customers in line first I felt like that took forever but then again they just opened so giving them the benefit of the doubt it will get better. I overheard some ladies walking out saying it's not worth it because they only had one register. (Again grand opening) but yes I agree there should of been more than one register opened but I'm sure they will figure it out. The ladies behind me walked past me and went to the front but that was my fault as well because I was told to wait there and I thought they would call us up, the gentleman I was speaking to told me to come up and told them I was before them which I let them know as well but they said they didn't know they were told to go up front so maybe better communication with staff to the customers so we know what's going on etc. The staff were friendly and good service when I got to the front to order. My cookies came pretty fast when I ordered a worker came and had the box opened and asked me if my order looked right which I appreciate to make sure you have the right cookies. I ordered 4 cookies 1. Chilled sugar ( I liked it but it had so much frosting) I had to take some off 2. Banana cream - this one is definitely our favorite! My partner and I loved this one but it's just so messy to eat the cookie just falls apart and the pudding is too much weight for the cookie ( I get why they call it Crumbl now) 3. We thought the cookies were ok, not really that impressive especially for the high price you're paying for them. However they could be considered a gourmet cookie I suppose. There just wasn't must depth to them as far as special ingredients and taste. However we liked the fluffy frosting on the Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake cookie and the warm Milk Chocolate Chip cookie was ok too.
