Overrated by far. Mediocre cookies and every time you order ahead... even at 10am for a 5pm pick up, they will be out of something you ordered! Happens every time. This place is so unprepared and they do NOT know how to manage orders and be sure when someone orders in the AM, they don't sell out!!!! I literally paid for my order at 10am for them to sell out of what I paid for at the time they opened! So done with this place. This has to be the WORST location in America. Judging by my conversation with the manager Kaitlyn and seeing her unprofessionalism, I get why this location is ran so terribly. The quality of their cookies are very poor, their wait times are extremely long, and the staff here is unbelievably poorly trained and incompetent. I went here yesterday to get a chocolate chip cookie, the cashier told me they were out and she didn't know when there would be more. I had her ask how long the wait would be. After she asked, someone pointed out that there were literally about 50 chocolate chip cookies right behind her, ready to be served. This isn't the first time I've been given similar misinformation by staff at this location. By far, this is the slowest, most incompetent, and lowest quality Crumbl that I've ever been to and it's starting to sour me on their brand. Their business model of changing almost their entire menu every week is also pretty dumb. If anything, their menu should stay mostly consistent and maybe have 1 or 2 new flavors each week so their customers know what to expect. Imagine if Peet's coffee changed out most of their drinks each week, or your favorite burger place swapped out their entire menu every week... Yes, I have a feeling that managerial incompetence runs deep at Crumbl... The manager Kaitlyn clearly doesn't know what she's doing and refuses to accept responsibility for the consistently poor service and customer experiences at her location. read more

Man did I feel guilty after eating these cookies . We ordered a 4 pack : 2x chocolate walnut, 1x chocolate chip, and the cinnamon roll flavor. IMO all were moist,warm, and delicious. Yes, they were a little undercooked as others have mentioned but I personally like mine that way. Melt in your mouth ! You can either order in line or on a little tablet to the right of the entrance. We were in and out . The area is busy in general so I would expect there to be a wait just like all of the other surrounding businesses. read more

What a nightmare, arrived today, September 1st and was in schock on how unorganized they are, the manager was overwhelmed, the employees had no sense of urgency with getting tasks done, I saw multiple employees crosstaminate their stations. One was adjusting her mask, then rang up an order than proceeded to grab a cookie with the same glove and put it into a box. First timer there today and certainly wont go back until they hire a leader who understands roles, leadership skills. The girl at the register who rang me up was rude, being a first timer she got snarky with me and made me feel stupid when I said I'll have 1 of those, 1 of those 1 of those and 1 of those, she sighed and then said then you want all our flavors, I said no because you're out of your chocolate chip cookies. She rolled her eyes and seemed bothered. I can tell her frustration was for the lack of leadership and not so much me, so I took her rude attitude and rolled wifi it, she then proceeded to yell across the store, Attenrion, we are stopping taking ordered We are to backed up and can't take any other ordered, sure tell all your customers you can't handle volume. People were walking in with orders to go and they had no clue who got what, the 4 iPads on the wall were to much to handle. They need ro model their business kinda like a Starbucks, each person has a role, a routine, they were basically fumbling on one another, crossing each other's paths, turning circles, boxing cookies one by one rather than take the box back to the back and box them! Waited in line for about 30 minutes to order and they ran out of single boxes and 4 pack boxes so they could "only sell 6 pack boxes" and wouldn't let me buy a single cookie in a sleeve. Also the cashier Sasha was touching the screen at the register and handling cash THEN grabbing cookies with the same gloves and decorating them. It was really gross to watch and other customers noticed and brought it up to her. So unsanitary almost glad I couldn't order any cookies because that's so gross. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would definitely do it! Not once, but twice, they had miserably failed at fulfilling our orders! The first time, my daughter placed an order, when she arrived to pick it up, they willingly replaced the 2 cookies that they were out of, with another flavor that she didn't really care for. The 2nd time around, I did an online order at 1130am, to be picked up at 430pm. Daughter arrives to pick the order up, only for them to tell her that they are all sold out of the flavors on our order, and they will be giving us a refund. Refund was initiated, but then....they kept the tip!!! Long story short (literally). My daughter complained, and all they had to say was that their oven was broken and why they couldn't make the cookies. Again, no email, text or any kind of warning. Mind you, we drove from across the bridge. Do they ever think of the inconvenience they cause customers?!? A couple days later, I was refunded for the tip, after the complaint was made. It seems as though this location does not have all their ducks in a row. They seem to fulfill the orders of those standing in line, and have no clue as to what inventory there is available for online orders. Friends have been telling us that it is more convenient to drive out the the Brentwood location, atleast there, it is less chaotic and you get your orders!!! read more

The 2 stars are only because this is a new location so there will be some hick-ups. Only after waiting in line for 45 minutes to find out they are sold out of chocolate chip cookies? You are a cookie establishment...how are you out of chocolate chip cookies? On top of it they won't be ready for 20 min +. Huh? I can go home and bake a cookie quicker. Disappointing, especially after experiencing Brentwood. Need to step up their game. Brentwood is worth the drive at this point. read more

I went to check out what the hype was about. Well, the staff is not welcoming or friendly. One of the workers who was prepping orders never changed her gloves. She was taking orders to customers outside. Touching the door handle going out and coming in. She even touched her hair. She continued to process more orders. She used the spatula to grab the cookies from the warmer, then touched the cookies with her gloves to place the cookies the in the box. I paid for my two cookies and then walked out and tossed them. The cookies are definitely tasty if you have a big sweet tooth and the different variety weekly is fun! I came today specifically for the caramel pumpkin cookie. I'm not sure if it was undercooked or if the texture is supposed to be more like a cake. I was unable to pick it up like a cookie I had to eat it with a fork. I have a major sweet tooth and even this frosting was too overwhelming for me and drowned out the pumpkin flavor of the cookie. I've been two other times to this location but wanted to wait to review because my customer service was poor and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since they are new and popular. But this time was no exception! I went in store to order and have never felt so IGNORED in my life. I stood at the cash register staring at the employees run around filling all their online orders with no concern for any customers actually in store. It took a good 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and finally took my order. She did apologize for the wait. This is a common occurrence here so if you're expecting any kind of customer service don't. I guess do yourself a favor and order online. read more

I like Crumbl...I really do. I like the vibe, the atmosphere, and how they interact with their customers on social media and such. But I have to say that the majority of cookies I've had from them really don't live up to the hype. They're so pretty, but I wish they tasted better. I'm specifically rating the Concord store because the other day when I was there I saw an employee right behind the corner take a piece of a cookie and eat it right there. Definitely not sanitary. Worst experience ever tonight at this location. Waited is line for 20 minutes and the line was steadily moving and then it came to a complete halt. The employees were concentrating on fulfilling the online, phone & door dash orders and decided to completely ignore the dozens of people waiting outside in line. They explained that their online orders were backed up and they had to get caught up before they could take orders from people waiting in line.and didn't know when they would continue to help the people in line. This a terrible policy. Their management should realize that all their customers are important not just the phone and on line orders. Needless to say we left after not knowing when we would be helped. I know losing my business won't hurt their overall profits but I will NEVER solicit this location again. read more

Order at your own risk As I placed my order from the app, I got a message notifying me saying I was #1 in line. As I walked into Crumbl, I was stunned by the amount of people waiting for their orders and it was brought to my attention that the customers before me have been waiting for almost an hour. At this point my experience in crumbl began to crumble (no pun intended). I walked up to the counter, showed an employee that my order says it was ready on the app. After that she told me it will be ready in the next 30-40 minutes due to them running behind on current/ existing orders prior to mine. I then asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund since I already paid through the app, but the employee seemed overwhelmed and walked away. 5 minutes later, another employee walked to the counter, she was more willing to help and she called her manager. But the manager was on the phone and seem to have many priorities and mine wasn't one of them. At this moment, I felt like I was wasting time to no progression. I've been to multiple Crumbl locations in the Bay Area and the Concord location is EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED! Long wait times, long lines, and not meeting promised time for curb side pick up. Today 8/31/21, upon entering the store, we were told to wait outside for 20 minutes because they were "behind." While waiting, many curb side pick up customers has to get out of their cars to get their orders bd they we're waiting for so long. Staff were so flustered, they dropped an entire sheet of cookie dough cookies on the floor! We were patient and waited 20 minutes. When asked if we could order, they told us to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes and they were not taking ANY ORDERS. The app didn't even allow me to order! We left- disappointed again. Wack service. Even the boxes are dirty when they serve it. They need to either get a new manager or hire more staff to meet the needs of their customers! So much chaos! I placed a carry out order at 11am through the app for a 3:30 pickup. I arrived at 3:30 and had to wait in a long line. I got to the front at 3:40, but the order was not ready. 10 minutes later they announced that they were out of cookies and were making more. Sometime after 4, an employee came out to announce that the carry out orders were so far behind that she needed to write down the names of everyone who was still waiting. I finally left at 4:25 with my cookies. The only people walking out with cookies seemed to be those ordering in person. I don't understand the purpose of order ahead. One man had been waiting since 2:30. Preference seemed to go to the walk-in orders. I talked to 3 staff members, and they were friendly and helpful despite the chaos, hence 3 stars instead of only 2. The line moved okay but they were out of 5 of the 6 flavors offered at 4pm, they're open until 10. I got the one type for family members but they didn't have anything I liked. I saw them making chocolate chip cookie dough, the flavor I wanted, and asked how long till it or another was ready- they said 1.5 HOURS. I could make cookies at home faster! I thought maybe it was home orders using up the stock but other reviews make it clear that they run out before online orders are filled. I watched many people walk away empty handed and read reviews that reported running out of flavors is an everyday occurrence. It was certainly not a good first impression. Since this is a regular occurrence not just a fluke it's obviously a poor management problem. It's not hard to see the reviews and order employees to start to make more when you only have a 1/3-1/2stock left, especially when there's 6 more hours left in the day! If I were this store owner I would not be a happy person. No one can grow a company with this many bad reviews and consistent shortage issues as this place has. The positive-the family members who actually got a cookie enjoyed them. But if you want cookies for everyone this is not the place for you. read more

Everyone has opinions you either like Pecans or not. The great thing about Crumbl their menu is constantly evolving, which is genius. And that one cookie you loved will eventually make it back on the cookie playlist. That Pecan Pie cookie, where have you been all my life.... Waiting for that Pecan cookie to make the list again.... As much as I wanted to give this place 5 stars after trying the one in Roseville, I can't. Their website says "chocolate chip is always available" however that was not the case when it was my turn to order. Three of their cookies were "sold out" when it was only 2pm and also after waiting in line for 30 minutes or more . It would be nice and convenient if the workers put out a sign to let everyone know what they're sold out of instead of having people wait in line for a long time only to find out what they want to order is sold out. I try to do curb side pick up almost every day and it always says it's unavailable. I hope they can find a way to improve on these things. read more

Cookies are great but service here is terrible. Waited over 30 mins inside to find out that they didn't have chocolate chip cookies and the sugar cookies which are always served everyday. I was told the chocolate chip would take 5 minutes and the dream would take 10 so we waited. Upon waiting I was then told they only had 2 of the dream cookies which did not make sense because we had been waiting there for 30 minutes for a batch to be made. When I got home there was only 1 of the dream cookies in my box! Instead of focusing on making cookies you already have (lemon) they should have started making cookies that were sold out. I came from Vallejo for this order and when I came to pick up at 5pm they said they don't have the flavors I ordered and that their oven was broken. Seriously, I couldn't get a call or text that I wasn't going to be able to get my order? They didn't care that I came from 25minutes away for nothing. very unprofessional, won't be coming here again! Edited to add: next day when I received my refund, the girl only refunded me for the cookies, not for the tip I left when I placed the order! Why would you not refund me for the whole amount? Decided to come in here because my butt just isn't big enough lol it is but I figure it's too late now no turning back. There was nobody there it was beautiful so I went up to the register to order and I'm standing there waiting and nobody said a damn word. I was like what is going on? everyone was just ignoring me. I look to my right and two ladies are standing behind the counter at the register looking at me. WTH? I was standing at the wrong register and nobody said a word to me. Why? Super creepy weird. I think they really need to work on customer service at this location it seems nobody really takes charge people kind of just wandering around lost behind the counter. They need to assign an employee to do certain things during heavy hours and maybe hire people that have some experience with humans. Anyway....... I guess I was supposed to go to the other register so I slide over to the other register a whole 3 feet over. I ordered the cookies I wanted and guess what they were in stock yay!!! So instead of making my own crumble chocolate chip cookies at home I got to try the real deal and it was dang good almost as good as my homemade. I also tried the sugar cookie which was off the hook D Lish. And a sherbet cookie again extremely good. None of these are like homemade but I would have to give it a thumbs up I'll give them an eight out of 10.
