This review is just for this week's flavor cookie the rice crispy cookie. I love Crumbl cookies but this one doesn't meet my expectations. This cookie was awful and paying $4.75x2 not worth it at all. The whole thing was stale and tasted old. I know they make their cookies fresh but this batch ok rice crispy cookies. I even went in last night to get a Reese's cookie that cookie is a 10+ stars. I did let them know about my 2x rice crispy cookies and all I got was a oh ok. No I'm sorry just a oh ok. Are the cookies good? Yes. Are they worth the hype? Sure, you could say that. But the service? Horrible. Let's start with just the store set-up. They have black stands outside and inside that divides the order line and pickup line which I appreciate for organization purposes. Two kiosks on the side of the wall but apparently both "out of order." and because this location is small, it easily gets crowded. It was total chaos inside once the line starts to grow. No one is facilitating the line knowing that it was getting crowded and you can't even tell where the line starts because the room was filled will people waiting for orders (in-store, online, curbside). People were waiting atleast 15 minutes for cookies. I waited 30 minutes for mine because they apparently didn't see our order in the system. Then why was I charged? When I managed to get an employee's attention (a guy with blonde hair shoulder length) he says ok i'll check on it but went all the way to the back and did not tell anyone or seem to look for it. He comes back by the pickup area where I'm waiting and he completely ignored me. One of the worst customer service I ever had. Thank you though to Arsh (not sure if I got her name right) for giving our cookies when we finally got her attention. I don't know why our order was not in the system. No one will greet you or acknowledge your presence. They were not understaffed as I even felt there were so many employees almost running into each other, basically just poor management. Please wear a mask when you go inside because they will not make you feel safe inside. Way too many people for a small space. Staff are touching countertops and customer cellphones when viewing their online orders and proceeds to grab cookies, so unsanitary. Will most likely not come back anytime soon. read more

I came at around 9:30am and there were tons of hot and fresh cookies! I love the packaging, it's super cute and pink and definitely will surprise anyone you buy it for. Super easy experience, I ordered on the kiosk and got the order right away! The staff was friendly and helped me choose. The cookies were literally one of the best I've had! I got the chocolate chip. Will definitely be back and I appreciate the customer service read more

Located in the Veranda, the cookie store is one that is highly admired by social media, but it's hype shouldn't be where it is now. The location, interior and wait times (for such a popular place) are pretty nice, but the cookies are definitely not worth their price. Although some of the flavors stood out, the price of around $4 a cookie did not. I might come here again, but not soon. read more

As soon as I walked in I heard a young lady say no more walk ins. We made eye contact and she seemed bothered. I've worked in the service industry for 10+ years and usually I always tip. But this time that interaction bothered me. And as soon as I hit no tip I over hear her say "no tip" and as I turn around she hands me my order and just says thank you and just walks away. Every time I come to this they are ALWAYS out of single boxes. I just want one cookie and they make me pay for four! I even asked if I could just have one cookie, I don't care what the box looks like. The employees had no compassion and gave me no options. The cookies are absolutely delicious! However, it be really smart to put on the window to show what they're sold out of, so people don't waste their time in line. The lines are ridiculously LONG! The prices are pretty expensive and every week they change the types of cookies they have for those who do not know. It's definitely worth a try, but just keep in mind they sell out quick and they do not post what they're out of until you get inside. This is something they need to work on. read more

Crumble Cookie in Concord is so good! Since they've opened up about a month ago their lines have not decreased, but it does appear as though the line is moving a little faster. We've been to Crumble Cookie 4 different times. The first time was when they opened up, and the second time they epically messed up on our orders because they had ran out of most of their cookies. I paid for a box of 12 cookies and and was told to return in 1 hour while they made a fresh batch of cookies for us, but when we returned they had forgotten about our order and had given our cookies away. Therefore, the staff frantically tried to correct their mistake but it was quite overwhelming as a prepaid customer. Thankfully on our 3rd and 4th visits we had better service and were able to get the cookies we had chosen. I love how Crumble Cookie serves fresh hot cookies that are pretty good in size. Their cookies do change on a weekly basis but the Milk Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookie are aways available because they are are the signature cookies. Crumble Cookie is a bit on the expensive side but worth every penny. Crumble Cookie is very addictive and so tasty! read more

Cookies: The cookies I tried were really good. I had Chocolate chip, M&M, KitKat, and Heath Cake. They were VERY sweet and rich! And I mean, I love super sweet and rich so maybe take that in mind. If you aren't a bit fan of super sweet, these may not be the flavors for you. One thing that I had no idea about, and neither did a lot of people, was that their flavors change weekly. So there is only a small selection (6 flavors), and if you saw something online you wanted, chances are it might not be there. This created mass confusion when online orders kept showing up and people had to redo their order because they weren't selling what was online. Even the DoorDash guy had to call his customer to let them know the choices they picked and paid for weren't available. So don't bother ordering online, they probably won't have what you want as the app/webpage doesn't seem to be accurate. Store: Chaos. Complete chaos. The girls were all over the place. They all looked like teenagers and the one possible adult I could see seemed to be a manager but was not in control of her store. There was only 2 people ahead of me and the line moved sooooooooooo slow. Then there was a rush of people after me. Everyone was trying to cram inside of this tiny place. It would have been nice if the manager directed everyone to stand in line outside where there are ropes obviously creating a line into the store. But she just kept welcoming everyone inside. Sanitary Issues: None of the girls wear hair nets. I thought when you worked around food, you must wear a hair net. Not sure what was going on here but it gave me major anxiety was everyone's hair flowing everywhere. Case in point: 2 customers returned while I was waiting for my order and complained of hair in their cookies. They were given new cookies but...come on.....freakin gross. Store Hours: This is actually the 2nd time I came here. The 1st time I came by, online said they were open until either 5 or 6pm. So I drove across the Benicia bridge to try this place out and they were closed at 2pm. I hope that the manager reads these and takes the constructive criticism and uses it to implement new procedures at this location. It has so much potential! I love the idea of it! No one has a perfect opening so I do want to give Crumbl another chance in a few weeks. I will post an update then! read more

I love the cookies but the process of getting them is a mess. I ordered ahead for curbside pickup in hopes of avoiding the long lines. Unfortunately, if they get too busy in the store, they'll literally just ignore curbside orders. After waiting in my car for 15-20+ minutes as "1st in Line" according to the app, I've had to go in the store to retrieve my order on multiple occasions. Not the end of the world but it does defeat the purpose of offering curbside. By the time I decided to walk inside they also sold out of the cookies I ordered so that was a bonus. The poor employees are always polite and working as fast as they can. At ~$5 a cookie, I think they can afford to hire more. read more

Cookies are good, but my goodness just awful service. Takes absolutely forever, even ordering ahead. Order taking is often regulated to an iPad, yet somehow that doesn't make getting your order any quicker. I don't know if it's an issue with Crumbl's set up/process that makes it impossible to keep up with or if the workers at this particular store are incompetent, but something's gotta change. I'm sure they're understaffed, but that can often be due to systemic issues (poor pay, stressful work environment caused by a poorly set up process, bad hiring practices, etc). I love the idea of having different flavors to try every week (even if they're hit or miss) but the experience is ruined by the service. read more

I purchased cookies here for the first time yesterday, and although they are good, they are not anything exceptional, in my opinion. I think they are too sweet. The churro cookie taste like a Cinnabon, so it's really good, but I don't know that I would make it a habit to buy cookies from this place very often, when there are so many local bakeries that have better baked goods. The Sugar cookie here has a really interesting texture, but I prefer pan dulce. The other thing that I thought was odd is they put all the cookies in a beautiful box, but then they asked me if I wanted a sticker and I asked, well, is there a charge?" To which they replied, "Yes." If you're not careful, the lid could pop open and the cookies could spill out, so the fact that they wanted to charge me for a little tiny sticker to seal the box, I thought that was ridiculous. We're talking $4.25 per cookie here ,or if you buy six of them, it's $20. I think that this is a fun place to go to if you happen to be out and about, or if you want to get somebody a little something, like a single, large cookie, like if you're kissing up to the boss or something, but other than that, I don't think I'd be inclined to frequent the place. read more

I've never been to a crumbl before and I was pleasantly surprised how uplifting the staff was. I walked in and was greeted by the whole team. I honestly had no idea what I was doing and where to order. An employee named Emily came over to the kiosk where I was standing and asked me if I'd ever been to crumbl before and I replied no. She took the time out her day while the store was busy to show me how to pick out the cookies, put them in the box, order a milk and wow I WILL be coming back! Shows what great customer service does!
