There's options to add potato chunks to the batter (tastes like fries), or sub for a squid ink batter. I've seen hot Cheeto flavored ones as well, where crushed hot cheetos are sprinkled on top. I've been to many Korean hot dog places and I find myself coming back to this place as it is consistently good in its texture (crunchy, crispy outer batter freshly fried to order), and flavor profile. Some other places over proof their batter and it tastes too much like yeast, but this place consistently nails the batter ratio and does not taste like yeast/beer! Came here for the first time today and got a jumbo beef hot dog. I told the cashier to just give me whatever was most popular. She said the potato topping was the most popular, so I went with that. I got the squid ink mozzarella hot dogs along with a mozzarella and cheddar cheese stick. The texture of the exterior was so satisfyingly crunchy I was so amazed. It held it's shape together all the way through and didnt collapse on itself or get soggy. The cheddar and mozzarella stick had nothing solid to hold on to when halfway eaten since it is just melted cheese in the center but the squid ink mozzarella dog stayed very firmly to the stick.
