Needed a good pizza spot for a Sunday night in. Saw this place on Yelp and ordered through their site. Got a Charlie salad, T.C. & a margarita pizza. The pizzas were good, crust was a bit crunchy but the toppings were great. High quality. The salad was great. Placed my order and it said it would be ready at 6:28pm. Went to pick it up and it wasn't ready until 6:48pm. The woman was nice but no apology for the delay. All is all - a good experience and would order from here again. read more

Really happy this pizza place re-opened! Remodeled interior and what looks to be new management. Customer service was top notch. Our drinks were comp'd and when they didn't have enough single slices (which are HUGE, by the way), they swapped our order to a large pizza with no issues. The pizza itself was above average, but I wish it had just a *tinge* less sauce. The dough was a bit wet and it prevented the crust from really crisping up. Cheese combination and crust consistency were top notch, and the sauce flavor was good as well. Looking forward to making regular visits back. read more

Absolutely delicious pizza and friendly service! I went on opening night and got to try a variety of specialty pizzas and every one of them was delicious because they built on a solid foundation of crust, amazing sauce and quality cheese. The standouts were the Louie and Les, but I really love a plain cheese and sausage pizza and they make a great one! I'm glad to hear they're going to have large slices of sausage pizza on the regular. Everyone working was super friendly. They made a great first impression! It's going to be the best spot in the neighborhood to stop in for quick meal by grabbing a slice and a pop (they have a variety of sodas). Highly recommended! read more

I live very close to Crushed (formerly ORD) and I'm very happy that I do. ORD had great full pizzas but the slices tasted like they just reheated day old leftovers..that is NOT the case now at Crushed. I've gotten a 12" Louie and a slice of pepperoni and they were both phenomenal. Fresh ingredients over cheese that's perfectly melted atop a bed of not-too-sweet sauce, on crunchy-outside-chewy-inside dough. If you love thin crust pizza this must be a staple. read more

YUM YUM YUM! Walking distance from my place, and BYOB, I am so glad I tried it! We got sausage, pepperoni, banana peppers and mushrooms, crust was awesome and an open kitchen. I also liked the fact that it took a little bit to cook it! I hate when a place is BYOB, you bring a bottle of wine, and your food is out in 5 minutes from ordering. It gave us a perfect amount of time to cocktail, and then right when we were getting hungry, the pizza arrived! It was excellent! They have everything you would need including red pepper and parmesan! Ordering was easy, and we basically had the place to ourselves, it was raining granted; but it felt intimate and cozy. I've ordered from Crushed Pizzeria twice and both times they messed up the toppings. The first time I called back and was offered $10 off my next order. After hanging up I decided that was a slap in the face. That's like saying "Hey, we screwed up and you didn't get what you paid for, but you should come spend more money with us." I emailed them my concern via their contact link on their website and didn't receive a response the next day so I called and had to request a refund or replacement. I ended up getting a replacement pizza and it was made correctly and it tasted great. Seems like they use fresh ingredients and it was tasty! I decided to give them another shot about a week or two later, and they again messed up the toppings. I didn't bother contacting them again because I'm giving up on them. Look, I understand mistakes happen. But a restaurant that specializes in pizza should be damn good at getting toppings correct. Can't recommend Crushed to anyone because, based on my experience, you will be wasting your time and money. read more

My dad died a week ago. He always picked the "quattro stagioni" pizza when we went to a pizzeria, he didn't even look at the menu. Went here for a pickup to support local businesses after working on our house. My wife is former New Yorker and semi-vegan so we got the margarita. Really enjoyed it and she is hard to please with pizza. Crust was good but I really enjoyed the sauce. Use great products so you really taste tomatoes. Not overly cheesy and very balanced flavours. The cherry tomatoes and fresh basil push it over a three to four star. The guys making the pizzas and front person really nice guys and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. I want to investigate more of their craft sodas but they have nice selections. The chocolate chip cookie was great. The chocolate tasted like more of a premium product and it really shows. My wife really enjoyed the "Charlie" salad. Fresh and nice combination. I think all would taste even better, particularly the crust if we could dine in. I think steam from the pizza in the box and time to bring it home brought it down just a bit but still very good. We think we have found our new neighborhood "go to" pizza joint. read more

Stepped in for a 5:00 slice. Had I known how well cared for I'd be I would have tipped the server at the counter right off. Slice heated. A capped carafe of chilled, filtered water was brought to my little granite table. A plate and utensils, Parmesan and red chili pepper. A while into my slice (it's huge and warrants the fork and knife) my server stopped by. She wanted to be sure to check in on me, first-timer and all. The cheese slice is good. I will definitely be ordering a whole pie (many delicious looking options) sometime soon. read more

We were so sad that ORD closed down for a bit but This place took over the space for ORD Pizza and appears to have the same exact menu. Our go to when it was ORD was the Louis which was always very good. We had been itching to try Crushed with the hopes that it was the same, or better, as ORD and we weren't disappointed. Ordered the Theo pizza and the Victor salad. Salad was fresh and I really liked the peppers on it that are used on some of the pizzas as well as the homemade dressing. We ordered the Theo which is basically a white pizza was fantastic. Also like that a huge salad and a 12" pizza is the same price we paid for other less quality pizzas. As a bonus, upon checking out, they threw in a chocolate brownie. Holy S#%*. It was incredible. "That thing is dangerous" is what my fiancé said. So happy that Crushed did ORD proud. I was a regular and huge fan of ORD (the original pizza place in this location) and was devastated when they closed. I drove by Crushed Pizzeria on opening night and was thrilled they reopened and maintained the same menu. I would give Crushed Pizzeria a 4.5 if I could. It's a nice casual environment and would be nice to eat in, there were couples and families with kids when I picked up my order and it is BYOB. I ordered over the phone for pick up and the wait time was longer than anticipated but the customer service was above and beyond (they even provided a free cookie and muffin) and honestly, I didn't mind, I understand it's a new operation and it takes time to get things right. The pizza itself was great. The crust was flavorful and had fantastic texture. I love the taste of the sauce. My only slight complaint is that there was a little bit too much cheese/toppings in general. I am not usually one to complain about cheese but I just think it made the pizza lose some of its structure and ended up a little soggy in the middle. Overall I was extremely happy with my experience and am so happy to have a standout neighborhood pizza place back. I can't wait to come back and imagine any current issues will be quickly worked out. read more
